It has been a rough couple of years for former Nickelodeon star, Drake Bell. He recently finished a probation period after pleading guilty in a child endangerment case. He has also faced accusations of inappropriate conduct with a minor and domestic abuse. Bell denied the allegations of inappropriate behavior and abuse. Bell had previously filed for bankruptcy in 2014. He was also arrested for a DUI in 2015.
Once one-half of Drake & Josh, a show that arguably launched a golden age for Nickelodeon, Bell is now more associated with scandal and the decline faced by many child stars. He has done some acting work in recent years. Most recently, he did voice work for a 2021 episode of Robot Chicken. He was also slated to release a studio album, Non-Stop Flight, later this years. However, a police report now has fans and the general public worried for Bell’s safety. TMZ broke the story on April 13.
Police Report Drake Bell Missing
The Daytona Beach Police Department has released a missing person’s warning for Bell. The post, which refers to Bell by his given name Jared, says that Bell has been missing since 9pm on April 12. According to the police, Bell was last seen driving a gray 2022 BMW near Mainland High School in the Daytona Highlands neighborhood. However, the police did not release a license plate to better identify the vehicle. The police say that Bell is “considered missing and endangered.” The post also included a recent image of Bell, but did not include his last known physical description. Mainland High sits on US Route 92, which travels west from Daytona Beach and eventually terminates in Tampa. It is unknown which direction Bell was traveling in during his last-known sighting. Florida residents in both Daytona Beach and the wider area should be on the lookout.
Regardless of how one may feel about the fallen Nick star, we can only hope for his safe return. Bell has a young son, Jeremy. Anyone with information that could help the police find Bell are encouraged to contact the Daytona Beach Police Department at (386) 671-5207 and ask for Detective Jayson Wallace.
