Don’t look for Rudy Gobert to be alongside his Minnesota Timberwolves teammates when they take on the Los Angeles Lakers. According to ESPN, the center has been suspended one game for punching his teammate Kyle Anderson during a team huddle.

The Wolves take on the Lakers in the play-in game with the hopes of making the NBA playoffs. If the Wolves lose, he would be available for the second play-in game when the Wolves take on either the Oklahoma City Thunder or New Orleans Pelicans.

The moment was sparked by a verbal altercation. Gobert was reportedly told “shut the f— up, b—-” and that’s what led to the attack. Gobert issued an apology via Twitter.

“Tempers flare, you’re in the middle of a game, a game we all want to win, a huge one, it is what it is,” Anderson said. “You know, s— happens. It’s not the first time something like that has happened.”

Anderson and Gobert reportedly talked through the incident. The Wolves will play the Lakers on Tuesday at 9 p.m. on TNT.

Rudy Gobert Suspended By Timberwolves After Striking Teammate

Rudy Gobert made headlines this past Sunday for all the wrong reasons. The Minnesota Timberwolves star was seen striking teammate Kyle Anderson during the team’s regular-season finale. The two were seen in a heated discussion that saw Gobert try to finish the altercation by throwing a punch. Now it seems the punch has landed Gobert in hot water. NBA insiders Shams Charania and Adrian Wojnarowski are reporting the Minnesota big man will not travel with the team for the play-in tournament due to suspension.

The news of Gobert’s suspension is massive for the Timberwolves. Gobert is a strong defensive presence that could have helped the team deal with Anthony Daivs. Now, most of that load will be on the shoulders of Karl Anthony-Towns. The Lakers and the Timberwolves will be competing for the seventh seed. While the winner earns a future date with the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round. Also, the Timberwolves season finale on Sunday included even more than two teammates being in an altercation.

Rudy Gobert Suspended For Play-In Tournament

The entire team Timberwolves team was visibly upset on Sunday. During halftime of their game, forward Jaden McDaniels fractured his hand by punching a wall. The collapse by Minnesota on Sunday is disheartening to a fan base starving to see them succeed. The Timberwolves haven’t seen much success in the post-season since the early 2000s. Now it seems as if the team is unraveling before even getting to play in this year’s playoffs. The Lakers will be chomping at the bit to attack the wounded Timberwolves.

However, all will not be lost if the Timberwolves lose to the Lakers. The team can still earn the final spot in the Western Conference if they fail against the Lakers. But with so much current turmoil, it’s hard to see Minnesota winning anything in this postseason. However, it has yet to be reported if Rudy Gobert will miss any other action after the team’s play-in matchup with the Lakers. How long do you believe Gobert will be suspended? Has he played his final game as a member of the Timberwolves? Sound off with your opinions in our comment section. For the latest NBA breaking news, stay locked in here at HNHH.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are in a tough spot ahead of their NBA play-in game against the Los Angeles Lakers. In their season closer on Sunday, Wolves center Rudy Gobert can be seen swinging at his teammate Kyle Anderson in the huddle.

To make matters worse for the team, forward Jaden McDaniels broke his hand after he punched a wall in frustration. The Wolves were able to pull out a 113-108 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

According to ESPN, Gobert was sent home for the day and the team would determine further punishment.

As for McDaniels, he has a season-ending fracture and he will not be available for the Lakers game.

Ja Rule Rips 50 Cent After Claiming To Have Lifted Timberwolves Curse

For years now, Ja Rule and 50 Cent have found themselves engaged in a feud. Overall, this feud has certainly amused hip-hop fans. Moreover, after all this time, it still isn’t done. Whenever Fif has the chance, he makes a joke at Ja’s expense. This puts Ja Rule in a perpetual state of self-defense. In fact, after securing a brand deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves, 50 Cent promised that he would lift the curse that Ja supposedly placed upon the franchise. Of course, this is a curse that was created shortly after a not-so-great performance that Ja put on during the team’s halftime show, a few years ago.

“There’s a curse on the Timberwolves because somebody made a mistake and let Ja Rule perform at the halftime show,” Fif begins. “And it was the worst shit that ever happened. Right? But what happened is he cursed the Timberwolves. So, now we’re gonna get rid of the Timberwolves curse. I’ve got a whole ritual planned to break the curse. So everybody get ready to follow it. You gonna get a chance to see what I do when the curse is broken. Timberwolves, let’s go. On three. One, two…[claps].”

Ja Rule Vs. 50 Cent

Subsequently, Ja Rule decided to respond to 50 Cent’s Instagram post. After all, this dig seemingly came out of nowhere, and the artist wanted to defend his own honor. “#RENTFREE. Only thing Curtis lifting is his skirt. 50 been on my d**k. He love my style lmao! And now the curse has been extended,” Ja Rule wrote. Perhaps Ja’s curse is working as the Timberwolves lost to a Portland Trailblazers team that is trying to tank. Additionally, the T-Wolves are in a play-in spot and could very well miss out on the playoffs. That would be the ultimate demonstration of just how deep the curse goes.

As for Ja Rule and 50 Cent, they will probably never make peace. After all, this is a feud that has gone on for 20 years. If they can’t make up after all this time, it will probably never happen. It also doesn’t help that 50 Cent is always trolling, which just adds fuel to the fire. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the sports world.

50 Cent Promises To Lift Ja Rule’s Timberwolves ‘Curse’ As His First Order Of Business Now That He’s A Partner Of The Team

To paraphrase the words of “Tomorrow 2” rapper Cardi B, once someone has beef with her, they are going to beef forever. This is a motto that 50 Cent lives by to this day. After visiting the Target Arena to celebrate his spirits company, Sire Spirits, closing a deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves, he couldn’t help but throw in a jab at his longtime rival, Ja Rule.

As the musician walked through the office, he joked with the Timberwolves staff mentioning his foe’s 2019 halftime performance for the team that didn’t garner much crowd participation.

“We had a curse! Somebody f*cked up, and they let Ja Rule perform at halftime,” 50 said before adding, “Now, what we’re gonna do is take the curse off!”

To add insult to injury, in the video uploaded to the rapper’s Instagram page, he took a few creative liberties to insert the clip of Ja’s performance onto one of the T-Wolves staff member’s computer screens including the audio of a joke former pro-athlete and Undisputed sports commentator Shannon Sharpe saying, “Skip, this might be worse than Fyre Festival.”

Once, again, 50 Cent proves that he’s not above taking jabs at anyone.

50 Cent Secures New Deal With The Timberwolves

50 Cent has been doing big things with his Sire Spirits brand. Branson Cognac and Le Chemin Du Roi Champagne are under this umbrella, and overall, they are both fan favorites. In fact, Fif has been able to get these brands into arenas around the NBA. The Sacramento Kings, Indiana Pacers, and Houston Rockets all have Sire Spirits as options at their facilities. Subsequently, 50 has been trying to get his brand into all 30 NBA arenas. Recently, he came one step closer to accomplishing that as he signed a deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Consequently, fans at the Target Center will be able to purchase Sire Spirits products. Moreover, the 200-level of the arena will even get a brand-new bar containing cocktails made with Fif’s various properties. Overall, this is a huge deal for the legendary artist, who continues to build an impressive empire. Additionally, it should be noted that there is a philanthropic angle to this deal. Through the G-Unity Foundation, 50 Cent and the Timberwolves organization will get to host basketball clinics for the youth.

50 Cent Continues To Build His Empire

“I had the opportunity to meet with the Timberwolves and knew they were the perfect partners for Sire Spirits,” 50 Cent said in a statement. “I am a big fan of the team, and I am excited to spend more time in Minnesota and get to know all the fans.” This sentiment was echoed by Timberwolves COO Ryan Tanke. “We are excited to launch this partnership with Sire Spirits and to introduce Wolves fans to Sire’s award-winning cognac and champagne,” Tanke said. It is clear that Fif will now be spending a lot more time in Minnesota over the coming months.

It will be interesting to see where else 50 Cent is able to bring his brands. The man is a master when it comes to marketing, and NBA teams love that. Moreover, players love him as someone they grew up listening to. That makes Sire Spirits a match made in heaven for a lot of franchises. Anthony Edwards Reveals Insane Diet

Anthony Edwards is one of the more interesting players in the NBA right now. He has always had a unique perspective on the game, and his media interactions are always hilarious. Overall, he is the future of the Timberwolves, and the fanbase is happy to have him around.

However, one thing about Edwards has irked some people within the T-Wolves. Of course, we are talking about the man’s diet. He is always going on about the foods he puts in his body, and typically, they aren’t very good. Consequently, Karl-Anthony Towns once called him out publically. Albeit, that did not end well for KAT.

During a recent interview with GQ, Edwards admitted to more dietary debauchery. In the video below, Edwards says he has a Chester’s Hot Fries addiction. So much so that he eats about three packs per day, which is 21 per week. In fact, that number may be a conservative estimate.

“The best chips that were ever made,” Edwards said. “I’ve been eating ’em since I was probably like five years old. I probably eat like 3 a day. You do the math … what’s that 21 bags? Yeah, I eat that many!”

This is going to make Towns’ head explode, although there is nothing he can do about it. After all, Edwards is 21 years old and is just living his best life. Hopefully, Edwards is finding some balance in other places of his life. Although, you can’t help but be a bit jealous of his ability to indulge like this.

Let us know what you think of Edwards’ revelation, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports world.

Charles Barkley Rips Rudy Gobert & The T-Wolves

If you know anything about Charles Barkley, it is that he loves to speak his mind. Of course, this is especially true on Inside The NBA which is part of TNT‘s NBA coverage. Overall, he is a pretty hilarious figure, however, he does upset some people from time to time.

On any given night, you can never predict who his next target will be. On Monday night, however, Barkley was going after the likes of Rudy Gobert. Gobert was traded in the offseason to the Minnesota Timberwolves, and he brought back a record haul. However, he has yet to live up to the price tag, and Barkley has taken notice.

Charles Barkley Doesn’t Hold Back

Barkley was prompted to speak about Gobert because the T-Wolves were playing the Utah Jazz, who traded Rudy. In the end, the Jazz came out victorious, which defeats the whole purpose of that trade. Charles Barkley was so disgusted by it all that he couldn’t help himself. Consequently, he dubbed this the worst deal in the history of the league.

“The Timberwolves made the worst trade in NBA history… That was so stupid that trade,” Barkley said matter-of-factly. Overall, this is an incredibly harsh assessment of the situation. However, you cannot blame Barkley for this take as it is true that Gobert has been truly awful.

If you are a Timberwolves fan, it probably doesn’t feel very good right now. Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns are not the duo fans expected them to be. Instead, it looks like the T-Wolves have made a huge mistake that will take years to correct.

Let us know what you thought of the Gobert trade, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the sports world.
