Kanye West Officially Sells Malibu Mansion After Alleged Failed Bomb Shelter Conversion

Kanye West has one less property headache to worry about, as he officially closed a deal on his Malibu mansion. For those unaware, this is the one that he reportedly reduced to its bare essentials with the hopes of turning it into a bomb shelter, an idea that he seemingly scrapped altogether. According to supposed real estate sources who reportedly spoke to TMZ, Ye made the sale for $21 million about three years after purchasing it for $57 million. He initially listed it for $53 million, then dropped the price by $14 million, and finally secured a deal with Belwood Investments after another price drop. Belwood is reportedly a California-based “real estate crowdfunding firm.”

Moreover, the company’s CEO Bo Belmont reportedly announced plans to spend $5 million in renovations to restore the vision of the home’s designer Tadao Ando. Of course, most fans don’t care much about a property sale: they just want to hear when Kanye West will musically redeem himself (a third, fourth, or fifth time) after the disappointing Ty Dolla $ign collab album VULTURES 2. Travis Scott and Ty himself recently fueled new album rumors online, so die-hards are a bit more ravenous for new Ye material than usual.

In fact, some alleged leaked texts surfaced online that seem to show Kanye West and producer Digital Nas sending songs to one another. In this exchange, the Chicago artist seemingly suggested that he feels more focused and “locked in” when it comes to his artistry. “I’m going into my full Ye art studio mode,” he allegedly texted to Digital Nas. Of course, it’s entirely possible that he said the same thing about his VULTURES series, so don’t take this as gospel.

Meanwhile, it seems like we already have a taste of a potential new lead single for whatever Kanye West does next, collaboratively or otherwise. “Preacher Man” got an official IG snippet as a tease to hold fans over after he debuted the song at his China listening party with Ty Dolla $ign. Understandably, many listeners are still quite skeptical. We’ll see if Ye’s next release makes the doubters eat their words…

Diddy Tries To Sell LA Mansion For $70M Amid Federal Sex Trafficking Investigation

It’s no secret that Diddy is wrapped up in a lot of legal drama as of late. Reportedly, however, that hasn’t stopped him from trying to offload one of his mansions. According to TMZ, the Bad Boy Records founder has been trying to sell his Los Angeles home off market for roughly $70 million. This is quite a bit more than the $40 million he initially paid for it back in 2014.

It’s unclear exactly why he’s decided to sell the massive property, though the outlet claims he’s looking to get out of LA for good, and won’t be searching for another home once it sells. This is the same mansion that Homeland Security raided earlier this year as a part of a federal human trafficking investigation, so it’s safe to say that it’s got some bad memories attached to it. Unfortunately for Diddy, the outlet’s source says the mansion is unlikely to go for as much as he’s hoping for.

These days, Diddy’s been spending a lot of his time in Miami, where he owns another mansion that was raided this year. Earlier this week, he was also spotted escaping the city to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He went on a white water rafting excursion with a group of friends and a guide. As for the mogul’s legal troubles, a grand jury is reportedly hearing evidence in his case.

It’s unclear when they plan to decide whether or not to indict him for his alleged crimes. What do you think of Diddy trying to sell his LA mansion amid his ongoing legal issues? What about him asking for far more than he paid for it? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

French Montana Is Selling His $23 Million Hidden Hills Mansion

Hip-hop artist French Montana is putting his Hidden Hills home on the market. He posted the mansion with a $23 million listing price. Montana bought the house three years ago for roughly one-third of his current asking price, making this a sound investment for the rapper. The previous owner, NBA superstar Paul George, sold it to French in 2020 as a pandemic sale. Iqosa Interior and Architecture Design did a massive remodel of the home, adding to the jump in value.

The mansion is, in a word, incredible. Covering 16k square feet, the house has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a game room, a five-car garage, a wine cellar, and an outside tennis court. The reason behind the posting is clear: French Montana’s listing agent, Tomer Fridman, says the musical artist is looking to expand his portfolio of real estate beyond the posh L.A. neighborhood. He says French is looking for property in either Miami, New York, Paris, or somewhere else. (Might we suggest… Montana?)

Also known as Coke Boy Numero Uno, the rapper has had some pretty famous neighbors while he lived in Hidden Hills. In December, couple Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty bought a home for almost $20 million. However, current residents are unhappy with this development, causing one homeowner, Beverly Bardan, to start a petition. She titled it “SAY NO TO SEX OFFENDERS IN HIDDEN HILLS,” referring to Petty’s alleged assault during one of Minaj’s tour stops. He is currently serving a year of house detention for failing to register as a sex offender in California.

On the other hand, French Montana is leaving the neighborhood and its drama behind. He is looking forward to doing bigger and better things with his time and money. One area he’s particularly interested in is the unfair treatment of immigrants in America. He’s highlighted his own struggles with immigration into the country before. Now he advocates on behalf of those going through the same thing. With an additional $23 million in his pocket, French can potentially help a lot of people.
