In November 2021, Britney Spears’ conservatorship was terminated. However, the strained relationships she has with her family members continue to exist. Her mother, Lynne Spears, publicly expressed her apologies to her daughter last October. At the time, Lynne Spears commented on Britney’s Instagram post, expressing deep remorse and acknowledging her daughter’s pain. The post was about how Britney wished for her family to take responsibility for the ways they have hurt Britney over the years. It was one of many that Britney has posted about the conservatorship.
Lynne professed her love for Britney, expressed how much she missed her, and requested to be unblocked. That way, they could have an in-person conversation. She apologized for any and all actions that have caused Britney harm. Britney wasn’t having it. At that time, the pop icon responded with harsh words, including telling Lynne to “go f*ck yourself.” However, it seems that Britney may now be more open to repairing their relationship.
Is Britney Finally Open To Repairing Family Relationships?
According to TMZ, on Wednesday night, Britney and Lynne spent time together in person for the first time in years. Lynne flew to Los Angeles, and Britney welcomed her into her home. They had a conversation for approximately 30 minutes, with the singer’s husband, Sam Asghari, also present. It was also reported that Britney didn’t know the exact timing of Lynne’s visit, but she was aware that her mother was in town to see her.
Alleged sources revealed that the wall between mother and daughter seems to be thinning, as they have been exchanging text messages recently. At the very least, Lynne felt confident enough to travel from Louisiana to Los Angeles to meet Britney. The sources also shared with TMZ that Lynne is committed to reconciling with her daughter. Britney recently referred to TMZ as “the trashiest news channel,” so it is likely that she won’t be pleased with this report. Stay tuned to HNHH for all the latest updates.
