“Laney” is an aesthetic that we have seen time and time again from Jordan Brand. That is because it is an homage to the school colors of where Michael Jordan went to high school. Firstly, with this sneaker, we get a blue upper with black on the toe box. Secondly, the midsole here is a mix of white and black. Lastly, we get some hints of yellow throughout the shoe in order to bring the “Laney” aesthetic together.

Jordan Two Trey “Rose Gold” Unveiled

There have been some amazing hybrid Jordan Brand shoes to hit the market over the last few years, including the Jordan Two Trey. Just like most hybrid Jordans, this shoe takes elements from various iconic models. Overall, you can see inspiration from the Jordan 8, Jordan 7, Jordan 11, and the Jordan 12, just to name a few. Although hybrid sneakers tend to be quite polarizing, this one has proven to be a hit. It is a model that makes sense and doesn’t come across as too busy.

Consequently, fans have bought into this model, and a whole host of colorways have been cooked up and released to the fans out there. Throughout 2023, we have certainly seen some teasers for this shoe. Moreover, we have gotten official images for new colorways that are absolutely going to release. These can be seen as flashy, but they will definitely look good in the Spring and Summer. Firstly, the entire upper is covered in a wide range of materials. However, one thing remains consistent here, and that would be the rose gold coloring. Secondly, the midsole is mostly white, however, the rose gold coming from the Air Jordan 11-inspired outsole engulfs it. All-in-all, this is just a very cool shoe.

J Balvin Gifts DJ Khaled His Air Jordan 3: Watch

In case you haven’t noticed, J Balvin has been looking to show off his brand-new Air Jordan 3 collaboration. Overall, Balvin is one of the biggest artists in the entire world. He is a global superstar and he continues to pump out the hits. Moreover, his stardom has allowed him to get some significant brand deals. For instance, he came through with a McDonald’s meal, just like Travis Scott and Saweetie. Additionally, he has worked with Jordan Brand on shoes like the Air Jordan 1 and the Air Jordan 2.

Now, however, his Air Jordan 3 is what everyone is focusing on. During some recent events, J Balvin was able to show off his new shoe. For instance, the Miami Grand Prix and NBA Playoffs have proven as training grounds for this new sneaker. Subsequently, he has taken the shoe over to the golf course, where he is spending time with DJ Khaled. Khaled loves to play golf now, and he is always in the meeting over at Jordan Brand. That said, it only made sense for Balvin to show Khaled his new sneaker.

In the video clip above, J Bavlin actually took the shoes directly off of his feet and gifted them to Khaled. Overall, it was a very nice gesture, and DJ Khaled was extremely grateful for it. Although we are unsure of whether or not they are the same size, it is still an amazing gift. Hopefully, Balvin has a few more samples of these at home. However, we’re sure he does. As for this sneaker, the white upper and purple-orange gradients throughout are very eye-catching. If you love sneakers, these may just be a must-cop.

Air Jordan 5 Low “Dongdan” Drops This Year: New Photos

If you love the Air Jordan 5, then the Air Jordan 5 Low is probably up your alley as well. Overall, it takes the usual aesthetic of the Jordan 5 and just condenses it. Although most sneakerheads will prefer the original, you can’t go wrong with turning any iconic sneaker into a low-top. Throughout 2023, there haven’t been a ton of Air Jordan 5 Low colorways. Mostly, that is because there isn’t a huge appetite for them. However, Jumpman has still been cooking up some new colorways for special occasions. One such occasion is going to take place later this year. This is “Dongdan” which is kind of like Quai 54 in Paris, France. This is a streetball tournament that takes place in Beijing, China. Now, Jumpman is set to drop a collection of sneakers to help promote the event. Subsequently, we are seeing teasers for the Air Jordan 5 Low “Dongdan.”

Thanks to the good folks over at SneakerBarDetroit, we have some solid images of this new shoe. Firstly, the sneaker is going to be covered in some black suede. Secondly, the midsole of the shoe is black, but with some pink, and even purple poking out from the outsole. From there, the iconic silver 3M tongue is found at the top, with some pink on the lace lock. Lastly, the insole has a purple sky aesthetic with white and pink clouds.

At the time of writing this, it is being reported that the shoe is set to drop in the summer of this year. Moreover, the price of the shoe has been set at $200 USD. J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 Collab Gets New On-Foot Images

With rumors of this new collab circulating, J Balvin continues to tease it while in public. Firstly, he showed it off during the Grand Prix weekend in Miami. Subsequently, he took his sneaker courtside, where we got a better look at them. @shotbyretro6 took the courtside photos, while @zsneakerheadz reshared them. Above, you can see how the shoe has a white upper with some grey elephant print. Furthermore, we get some purple-to-orange gradient on the midsole, as well as the back heel. Air Jordan 6 “Toro Bravo” Release Date Gets An Update

One of the best Jumpman silhouettes to ever be released would have to be the Air Jordan 6. Overall, this is a silhouette with a lot of history. Mostly, this is due to the fact that the shoe was the first one Michael Jordan won a championship with. Although Jordan has worn some more iconic silhouettes, this was the first to launch him to victory. However, that is not to say that this isn’t an amazing sneaker in its own right. Over the years, the Air Jordan 6 has gotten a ton of new offerings. This was especially true back in 2021 as the shoe celebrated its 30th anniversary. Overall, this was a very fruitful time for the silhouette. However, Jumpman has kept the party going with more great offerings. Air Jordan 12 “Cherry” Drops This Fall: First Look

If you have been paying attention to Jumpman over the past couple of years, you may have noticed the increase in Air Jordan 12 colorways. Overall, this is a sneaker that is finally getting the love it deserves. The Jordan 12 is incredibly unique, and it has its place in history. It was the shoe Michael Jordan won his fifth title in. Thanks to @zsneakerheadz and @xcsnkr on Instagram, we now have our first look at this model. Of course, this is a retro for an OG colorway so this is something people have seen before. Although, the people want to know if the original aesthetic will be respected. Based on these images, we can safely say, “yes.” Firstly, the sneaker is covered in white leather on top. Secondly, we get a nice red overlay on the sides that extends over to the toe box. Lastly, there is some black throughout the shoe, particularly on the back heel and the insole.

As for the release date, this shoe is expected to drop on October 28th. Moreover, it will be coming out in sizes for the whole family. Whether or not these are high in stock, remains to be seen. Before we bring you the latest update on the Air Jordan 8 “Playoffs,” let’s discuss this colorway, shall we? Firstly, the shoe is mostly covered in some black nubuck. The overlays are just a tad darker than the actual base of the shoe. Secondly, there is a white patch near the back heel which has some red and black within it. Lastly, the outsole to the shoe is red, white, yellow, and blue. These elements come together to fit an aesthetic that was prevalent in the 90s.
