Air Jordan 5 Hit With Ultra-Rare “Bel-Air” Colorway

If you were a fan of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, then you certainly saw a lot of the Air Jordan 5. Overall, the Jordan 5 became a huge pop culture icon thanks to the show. Moreover, it helps that the series came out the same year as the shoe. Sales of the shoe were helped out by Will Smith’s love of the Jordan 5, and Jumpman has always been grateful. In fact, over the years, we have seen various “Bel-Air” colorways. Furthermore, we have even gotten “laceless” AJ5’s which are yet another nod to Smith’s character.

Now, the series has been given new life thanks to a more dramatic interpretation of the story. The Peacock series Bel-Air is a retelling of Will’s story, but with less comedy. Just a couple of weeks ago, their second season had its premiere, and fans are enjoying what they are seeing. Additionally, it seems like Jumpman is still keeping its eye on the series. That is because they have created a new “Bel-Air” Air Jordan 5.

In the images above and below, you can see that this shoe has the iconic “Black Metallic” color scheme. This is one of the OG colorways of the Jordan 5, and fans have always loved it. Firstly, the shoe is covered in black suede. Secondly, the midsole is black with some silver shark teeth. Lastly, we get the silver 3M tongue with a red Jumpman logo in the middle. Interestingly enough, these shoes stick to the “Bel-Air” theme thanks to the laceless aesthetic.

It is important to note that this shoe is not going to be released to the public. In fact, only three pairs of this shoe have been created. However, one lucky person will be able to get one of the three pairs. NTWRK will be raffling a pair in a size 12, and all you have to do is pay $1 to enter. Macklemore Unveils Contest Involving His Rarest Air Jordan 6 PE

Macklemore is someone who has always showcased his love and appreciation for sneakers. Overall, he is a sneakerhead who has a specific attachment to Jumpman sneakers. After all, he had a song called “Wings” which was all about Nike and Jordan brand shoes. Over the years, Macklemore was able to develop a relationship with Jordan Brand, and by extension, Michael Jordan himself. In fact, the artist was even able to get a few Air Jordan 6 PEs that are still talked about, to this day.

One such PE is the Air Jordan 6 “Clay.” This sneaker is known for its pink suede upper which resembles some clay. Moreover, this shoe had a black shark on the back heel which tied in with the Macklemore aesthetic. This is a sneaker that was only given 46 pairs. Interestingly enough, the artist has 23, while Michael Jordan has the other half. Now, the Seattle native is looking to give away a couple of pairs as a way to promote his new album Ben which is set to drop on March 3rd.

Macklemore Explains The Rules

In the Instagram video above, the artist gives his fans the rules in terms of entering the contest. Essentially, they just have to pre-save the album and then share it. If they do this, then they will be automatically entered into the draw. Overall, these kicks are worth a whole lot of money, so if you love shoes and want to add them to your collection, then these are obviously a great option. Moreover, these are never going to be released on the market, so if you really want to stunt, these are among the best options out there.

Considering the fact that Macklemore has 23 pairs of these, he will certainly not be missing a couple. Air Jordan 37 Low “Team Red” Unveiled: Photos

With the Air Jordan 37 seeing a ton of success, it was only a matter of time before the Air Jordan 37 Low became a thing. Over the years, Jumpman has always created a low-top version of its signature MJ silhouette. Overall, fans have been fairly split between these two models. On one hand, you have the fans who like the high-tops. However, the other hand has everyone who prefers something that is a bit lower on their ankles. Both of these approaches and preferences are equally valid.

With that being said, Jumpman is giving just a bit more attention to the low-top variation as it is much newer. Subsequently, we are starting to see new colorways of the Air Jordan 37 Low. There are plenty of cool teasers being shown off, as well as some official images. For hoopers, this is definitely good news as they will have some new options just in time for the playoffs. First up is this “Team Red” model which is a women’s exclusive.

It is covered in bright red hues, and these are meant to pop on the court. Firstly, you can see the side panels and overlays get a nice bright red that really stands out. Secondly, the toe box up through to the tongue is burgundy. These two shades contrast well with one another and it also looks great with the beige midsole that brings the look together.

A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 Collab Rumored For This Year: Details

A Ma Maniére is a brand that has been doing big things as of late. Based in Atlanta, the sneaker boutique has been able to collaborate with the biggest brands in the entire world. Overall, the vast majority of their collaborations have come with the likes of Jordan Brand. They are consistently coming through with some fantastic colorways of the best silhouettes in the Jumpman library. Although they have collaborated on about five silhouettes at this point, the offerings are not getting old.

So far, A Ma Maniére and Jumpman have worked together on the Air Jordan 1, the Air Jordan 2, the Air Jordan 3, the Air Jordan 4, and most recently, the Air Jordan 12. Subsequently, fans are now wondering if they will ever work on another silhouette together. It is an important question to ask, especially with just how popular these collaborations are. In the eyes of sneakerheads, these new offerings are extremely unique, and they are worth continuing. Consequently, it seems like A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand have more plans in the works.

According to @zsneakerheadz, the two are working on an Air Jordan 5 collaboration. Just like the Air Jordan 12 offering, there will be two colorways. Firstly, there will be a model that is covered in black suede. Additionally, the midsole will be burgundy with pale ivory hits throughout, including on the tongue. Secondly, the other colorway will be covered in grey suede. The tongue and the midsole will reportedly look identical to the black offering. Needless to say, we have the same concept here as we did on the Air Jordan 12 collab.

At the time of writing this, a release date has yet to be revealed. However, once again, it seems like this shoe is being pegged for the Holiday season. This Craig Sager Air Jordan 1 PE Is Incredible

If you know anything about Craig Sager, it is that he had some truly wonderful suits. Additionally, he was beloved by all of the players and coaches he interviewed. Over the years, Sager was a staple of NBA On TNT’s coverage. He was always standing courtside, ready to interview the biggest names in the sport. Although he interviewed some people at their lowest moments, he was able to get people to crack a smile. When he passed away a few years ago, it was a huge loss to the basketball community.

Going back to Sager’s suits, he was always wearing something truly unique. The patterns and the fabrics on his menswear would always get a ride out of people. Even though not everyone was a fan of his looks, they couldn’t help but deny that Sager pulled it off immaculately. Having said all of this, it should come as no surprise that Jordan Brand once made a Craig Sager Player Exclusive. Although it was never released officially, there are still some images of it online.

Subsequently, we now have some detailed shots of the shoe, courtesy of @EnglishSole on Instagram. As you can see up above, this shoe is tremendous, although certainly not for everyone. It is impossible to truly describe this shoe from head to toe. Overall, this is because each section of the shoe features its own unique pattern. Of course, this all represents Sager and his magnificent suits. He never wore the same thing twice, and that is absolutely represented here. Every time you look at this shoe, you are going to come across something new. Most sneakers don’t give you that feeling, however, these definitely do.

Unfortunately, you will never be able to purchase these. Jordan Brand has no plans for an official release, and that is probably for the best. These are not mass appealing, and a release would ruin their mystique. At least for now, we have these images to look at whenever we want. Air Jordan 1 High OG “Celadon” Coming This Year: Details

One of the best sneakers ever created is the Air Jordan 1 High OG. Overall, this is just one of those silhouettes that you cannot go wrong with. Jumpman is always doing big things with this sneaker, and it is hard to deny its impact. Although some might be tired of the silhouette, there is no doubt that this shoe will continue to have an impact on culture. As soon as Michael Jordan wore this sneaker, it became famous. Almost 40 years later, very little has changed, which speaks to the sneaker’s longevity.

Having said all of this, it should be a given that the sneaker will be dropping in a ton of new colorways throughout 2023. Every single Jumpman silhouette seems to be doing big numbers. This teaser comes to us from sneakerfiles.com. The shoe is simply called “Celadon” which is a motif we definitely have not seen a lot of over the years. Either way, the photoshop rendering is quite jarring as we get a colorway that is hard to put your finger on. Firstly, the entire upper is covered in shiny green leather material. Secondly, the cuff part of the shoe is bronze, while the Wings logo is orange. Lastly, we get what appears to be a sail midsole that has that aged look Jumpman is going for these days.

Right away, it is clear that this is a colorway that will not be for everyone. This is one of those shoes that is going to be polarizing, and we cannot wait to see the in-hand images. Air Jordan 2 “Mauve” To Drop In 2023: First Look

One of the most surprising developments in the sneaker world over the past two years has been the rise of the Air Jordan 2. As soon as this sneaker celebrated its 35th anniversary, it felt like Jordan Brand was giving it more attention. Overall, this is a shoe that had largely been forgotten. Although it is hard to understand why, it is clear that this is, indeed, a great silhouette. Unfortunately, the shoe was just sandwiched between two icons in the Jordan 1 and the Jordan 3.

Now, this sneaker is getting all sorts of amazing colorways. Of course, this is great news for sneakerheads. They now have way more options for this shoe than they have ever had in the past. Moreover, it seems like Jumpman has no plans to slow down. Throughout the last few weeks, we have received numerous teasers for both the Air Jordan 2 OG, and the Air Jordan 2 Low. These teasers have been quite unique, and as it turns out, we have yet another report. This time, from the likes of @zsneakerheadz and @sneakerfiles.

In the Instagram post above, you can find a photoshop rendering of what this model is supposed to look like. Overall, it is a very interesting colorway that is going to be dubbed “Mauve.” Moreover, it should be noted that this is going to be a women’s exclusive. Firstly, the sneaker opens up with a black leather upper. Secondly, we get some purple outlines throughout the sides. Lastly, purple also appears on the back heel. This is then followed up with an aged midsole that looks very nice. It is a nice colorway that can definitely be worn during every single season.

Over the last few decades, the Air Jordan 2 Low has been largely forgotten. The same can be said its older brother, the Jordan 2. However, in the last two years, Jumpman has been giving these silhouettes a ton of great and unique colorways. Overall, this is definitely good news for sneakerheads as it creates more options on the market. Not to mention, with the increase in colorways, fans are starting to realize how great these kicks actually are. The silhouette is seeing a rise in popularity, and Jumpman could not be any happier.

Throughout 2023, fans can expect plenty of new Air Jordan 2 Low offerings to make their way to the market. Jumpman knows exactly what it is doing here, and some of the new colorways being shown off are fantastic. Initially, we were getting a lot of teasers from the usual suspects on Instagram. “UNC To Chicago” is an aesthetic we have seen in the past. Overall, this is meant to be a nice homage to the fact that Michael Jordan went from UNC to the Chicago Bulls. With this colorway, you can certainly see how both teams intersect. Firstly, the sneaker is covered in white leather. This white extends to the laces, midsole, and also the tongue. Secondly, there is a red line on the sides that brings in the Bulls colors. Lastly, the back heel is powder blue which is a reference to the University of North Carolina.

All-in-all, this is a very clean colorway that speaks to the history of Jordan Brand. Ultimately, we’re sure there are a lot of people out there who are going to love these. Air Jordan 3 “White Cement Reimagined” Officially Unveiled

Overall, you can never go wrong with the Air Jordan 3. For those who may not know, this is the shoe that ultimately helped keep Michael Jordan with Nike. At the time, MJ wanted to leave Nike. However, Tinker Hatfield swooped in and designed an incredible shoe. Jordan was so impressed that he decided to stay with Nike. Moreover, he enlisted Hatfield to make all of his Jordans, all the way up until the Air Jordan 15. Needless to say, Hatfield is a legend of the sneaker world.

There are multiple reasons why this shoe is so unique. For instance, this is the first Jordan to have a visible Air Max unit in the midsole. Furthermore, this sneaker included elephant print on the toe box and the back heel. This was pretty unique at the time, and fans ended up loving the aesthetic. Over the years, this shoe has been blessed with a ton of amazing color schemes. However, there is no doubt that fans gravitate to the classics, like the “White Cement” offering.

Interestingly enough, the “White Cement” is returning this year as part of Jumpman’s “Reimagined” series. Now, the infamous Air Jordan 3 is back, and fans could not be any happier. Firstly, this shoe starts off with that iconic white leather upper. Secondly, we get a grey elephant print which contrasts well with the red Jumpman logo on the tongue. The “Reimagined” portion of the shoe is the midsole, which has a yellow-aged look to it. Lastly, the back heel has the Nike Air logo on it which is definitely what the OG sneakerheads are looking for.

At this point, the shoe has been confirmed for a March 11th release date. It is also important to note that the shoe will cost $210 USD at retail. Air Jordan 1 Low FlyEase “Bred” Drops Soon

One of the best inventions to come out of Nike is FlyEase. This has led to numerous amazing shoes, including the Air Jordan 1 Low FlyEase. For those of you out there who may not know, FlyEase is all about accessibility. There are millions of disabled people out there, and it can be hard for them to get in and out of shoes. However, FlyEase technology makes it easier to get in and out of sneakers. Instead of laces, the shoes are able to bend while also providing new technology that reduces the strain of putting on a shoe.

Overall, this has proven to be a very successful endeavor for Nike. They understand that broadening their consumer base is going to lead to better growth for the business. Consequently, they are also bringing FlyEase to more and more silhouettes. The Air Jordan 1 Low is one of those offerings, and now, we are starting to see a major influx in colorways. “Bred” is one of those iconic color schemes that will always stand the test of time. It is a color scheme that literally means “Black and Red.” As you can see from the official images, this sneaker definitely fits that bill. The shoe begins with a red toe box and a red back heel. Additionally, the overlays and side panels are all black. One unique difference here is the fact that the Nike swoosh is white. Typically, a “Bred” model has a red swoosh. With this offering, however, Jordan Brand has opted to switch things up a little bit.

This shoe does not currently have a release date. However, it is known that it will be released for a price of $130 USD.
