Air Jordan 1 High OG “Celadon” Coming This Year: Details

One of the best sneakers ever created is the Air Jordan 1 High OG. Overall, this is just one of those silhouettes that you cannot go wrong with. Jumpman is always doing big things with this sneaker, and it is hard to deny its impact. Although some might be tired of the silhouette, there is no doubt that this shoe will continue to have an impact on culture. As soon as Michael Jordan wore this sneaker, it became famous. Almost 40 years later, very little has changed, which speaks to the sneaker’s longevity.

Having said all of this, it should be a given that the sneaker will be dropping in a ton of new colorways throughout 2023. Every single Jumpman silhouette seems to be doing big numbers. Of course, the Air Jordan 1 High OG is no different in that regard. Sneakerheads are always excited to see what will drop next, and for the most part, the new colorways have been extremely unique. Furthermore, there have been a ton of new teasers, including the one below. As you will see, this is a very unique color scheme that could be polarizing.

Air Jordan 1 High OG “Celadon”

This teaser comes to us from sneakerfiles.com. The shoe is simply called “Celadon” which is a motif we definitely have not seen a lot of over the years. Either way, the photoshop rendering is quite jarring as we get a colorway that is hard to put your finger on. Firstly, the entire upper is covered in shiny green leather material. Secondly, the cuff part of the shoe is bronze, while the Wings logo is orange. Lastly, we get what appears to be a sail midsole that has that aged look Jumpman is going for these days.

Right away, it is clear that this is a colorway that will not be for everyone. This is one of those shoes that is going to be polarizing, and we cannot wait to see the in-hand images. As for the release date, you will likely have to wait until the Holiday season for these. Let us know what you think, in the comments below.
