Vince Staples Delivers Goosebump-Inducing Jumpman Ad For Jayson Tatum

Vince Staples is one of the many artists this year who has had a sensational 2024. Overall, he dropped off a new project and has continued to dominate potential album of-the-year lists. Moreover, he has been working with a lot of brands lately, which goes to show that his star power is increasing. In fact, Vince has been doing a lot of ads for Jordan Brand, and they have all been exceptionally well done. Now, he is doing an ad for none other than Jayson Tatum.

Tatum is having a hell of a year so far with the Boston Celtics. The team is fresh off of an NBA championship, and Tatum is motivated to be one of the best players in the entire world. He is well on his way to becoming that, and his signature shoe with Jumpman has proven to be a success. Overall, this makes he and Vince the perfect pair for a new commercial. As you can see in the ad below, this is one of those times where Jumpman really nailed it.

Vince Staples For Jumpman

“What type of dude is Jayson Tatum,” Vince asks in the ad. “The type of dude who’d crush a team and then say some cold sh*t like, ‘We just played our game and the rest took care of itself.’” This is an ad that is sure to give you chills. This is especially true if you are already a Jayson Tatum fan. Overall, the Celtics superstar continues to elevate, and in some ways, he is on a similar trajectory to Vince.

On the basketball side of things, the Celtics just crushed the Cleveland Cavaliers’ undefeated streak, and many fans are happy about it. Meanwhile, musically, fans should not expect a new project from Vince anytime soon. Perhaps next year at the soonest, but we really should give the guy a break. Hopefully, we will continue to see these kinds of ads from the likes of Jordan Brand.

The Boston Celtics handed the Cleveland Cavaliers their first season loss Tuesday night, snapping Cleveland’s remarkable 15-game win streak with a 120-117 triumph at TD Garden. The matchup, a rematch of last season’s Playoffs and an Emirates NBA Cup Group Play game, marked only the fourth time in league history that a defending champion faced a team on a 15+ game win streak.

Jayson Tatum led the charge for Boston with 33 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, and six three-pointers. Boston’s relentless shooting from beyond the arc, particularly in the first half, helped build a double-digit lead that peaked at 21 points in the third quarter. Tatum’s performance was bolstered by strong showings from teammates Al Horford and Derrick White, who each added four three-pointers.

Despite trailing by 21, the Cavaliers mounted a fierce comeback with an 18-3 run in the third quarter, cutting the deficit to six. Donovan Mitchell delivered a stellar effort with 35 points, eight rebounds, and three assists, but Cleveland’s rally fell short as Boston consistently answered each push.

“You want to be a part of history in that regard. But it’s a thing of the past. It’s over with. And, you know, it was a good run … It’s great to be part of history. We wish we had kept it going. But, like I said, there’s no championships in November.”

– Donovan Mitchell

The Celtics also disrupted Cleveland’s league-leading three-point shooting, holding the Cavs to 34.5% from deep, their worst season performance.

In Emirates NBA Cup Group Play, both teams are now 1-1, trailing the 2-0 Atlanta Hawks in East Group C. Boston’s victory not only ended Cleveland’s streak but also reaffirmed their championship resolve in a high-stakes contest.

Vince Staples Gives Jayson Tatum A Piece Of His Mind In The Taunting New Jordan Commercial

Vince Staples isn’t afraid to voice his opinion regarding anything and anyone. No one is exempt from the “Little Homies” rapper’s blunt takes—not fellow musicians, fans, or content creators.

Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum is the latest person to feel his humorous wrath. Today (November 19), Vince Staples and Jayson Tatum came face-to-face in a new commercial for the Jordan brand (viewable here).

Instead of using his beloved lyricism on full display, Vince channelled his words for another reason. As highlights of Tatum’s Championship season took over the screen, Vince gave Tatum a piece of his mind.

“What type of dude is Jayson Tatum,” asked Vince. “The type of dude who’d crush a team and then say some cold sh*t like, ‘We just played our game and the rest took care of itself.’”

As Vince pointed out, Tatum is a many of few words but when he does speak out against his opponents it cuts deeps. However, Tatum manages to keep a cool head or so Vince argued, saying: “The type that have a whole city and internet, booing him. And he’s just smiling.”

Before the clip ends, Vince has one more grievance to air as a long-suffering Los Angeles Clippers fan. “That sh*t really message me up, man,” he said.

Unfazed by it all, Tatum laughs off Vince’s monologue. In Tatum’s eyes, it doesn’t matter who hates him because his partner, singer Ella Mai and their child provides more than enough love to make up for it.

In a thrilling start to the 2024-2025 NBA season, Jayson Tatum set the tone for the Boston Celtics moments after receiving his championship ring at TD Garden. With a confident message to the crowd, “Let’s do it again,” Tatum then led the Celtics to a commanding 132-109 victory over the New York Knicks, showcasing why Boston remains the team to beat.

Tatum delivered an electrifying performance, dropping 37 points, dishing out ten assists, grabbing four rebounds, and hitting eight remarkable 3-pointers. His efforts helped the Celtics build a 74-55 halftime lead, and they never looked back.

From the jump, the Celtics were scorching from beyond the arc, hitting ten triples in the first quarter alone. Tatum scored 15 points in the opening frame, and each of Boston’s starters contributed to the long-range barrage. Derrick White chipped in 24 points on 6-of-10 shooting from deep, Jaylen Brown added 23 points with five 3-pointers, while Jrue Holiday and Al Horford contributed 18 and 11 points, respectively.

The Knicks’ new stars, Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges combined for 28 points in their debut, with Towns pulling down seven rebounds. Jalen Brunson led New York with 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting, but Boston’s firepower was simply too much to handle.

The Celtics went 17-of-32 (53.1%) from deep in the first half and finished the night 29-of-61 (47.5%) from beyond the arc. Despite missing their last 13 attempts in pursuit of a record-breaking night, their shooting performance punctuated a memorable championship celebration.

Reflecting on the win, Tatum said, “Tonight was special. Everything I wanted and more.” The Celtics look primed to defend their title with confidence and precision.

Ella Mai And Jayson Tatum Seemingly Revealed Their Child’s Birth In A Truly Olympic Fashion

If privacy was a person, it would undoubtably be Ella Mai. Since 2023, the “Not Another Love Song” singer quietly slipped out of the public eye. Following the deluxe edition release of her album, Heart On My Sleeve and wrapping up its supporting tour, Ella Mai even took a hiatus from social media.

But she reappeared all smiles and pregnant at the 2024 NBA Finals championship to celebrate her partner’s, Jayson Tatum, victory. Yesterday (August 10), the couple seemingly revealed their child’s birth at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Although Ella Mai nor Jayson Tatum have shared any family photos online, fans immediately began to congratulate the couple once behind-the-scenes clips of the Team USA family photoshoot were posted to X (formerly Twitter).

In the video (seen here), Tatum and his family gather to commemorate the men’s Olympic basketball team’s gold medal victory. As the visual progresses, Tatum is joined by Ella Mai and an infant child, all seemingly dressed in matching Team USA gear. This marks Ella Mai’s first child. For Jayson Tatum, this is his second. Tatum has a son, Jayson Jr, more affectionately known as Deuce, from a previous relationship.

For a while, fans wondered about the couple’s status, as they weren’t spotted out together. But it is safe to assume that they are still indeed boo’d up.
