NBA Taking No Further Action On Joel Embiid

Joel Embiid avoided an ejection on Thursday for his actions against Nic Claxton. Embiid kicked the Nets, big man, after Claxton stood over Embiid in celebration. The move by the officials to not eject Embiid from the game had fans in a frenzy on social media. Now it seems that the NBA didn’t see a big issue with Embiid’s actions either. According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the NBA will not be punishing Embiid for the kick. A move that has surprised a lot of people.

Included in the statement, the NBA will also not be taking further action on Embidd’s teammate James Harden either. Harden was ejected for hitting Royce O’Neale in a rather delicate region of the body. The officials made a few surprising calls during the Sixers-Nets game. Including ejecting Nic Claxton for celebrating a dunk. Game 3 of the series is only going to be remembered for calls on the court. Instead of Tyrese Maxey leading the Sixers to a 3-0 series lead.

Joel Embiid Avoids Punishment

After the game, the NBA on TNT crew discussed the actions of Embiid. Charles Barkley stated that what Embiid did should be considered a worse act than what Draymond Green did to Domantas Sabonis. With Green’s latest incident and the punishment the league handed down, it felt like Embiid would be next. But now Embiid has been cleared of any further punishment for the incident. The news will surely be discussed during the pre-game of the games this evening.

Now the Sixers will move on after avoiding a suspension for their biggest superstar. However, Embiid suffered an injury on Thursday night. Embiid came up slow after hitting the deck in Game 3. The fall forced Embiid to step out of the game for a moment before turning rather quickly. However, the potential MVP was noticeably bothered by the injury for the rest of the game. If Joel Embiid’s injury causes the star to miss time, can the Sixers still take care of business? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section. Harden Gets Ejected For Groin Punch

“Flagrant foul” appears to be the NBA’s word of the week. Draymond Green received a “flagrant 2” for stomping on Domantas Sabonis earlier in the week. Then last night, Joel Embiid got a “flagrant 1” for kicking Nic Claxton while James Harden got a “flagrant 2” for sack-tapping Royce O’Neale. But what even is a “flagrant foul”?

Flagrant fouls are the highest form of in-game penalty in basketball. A “flagrant 1” is defined as “unnecessary contact committed by a player against an opponent.” Meanwhile, a “flagrant 2” is “unnecessary and excessive contact committed by a player against an opponent.” Additionally, both calls carry a standard two-free-throw penalty. However, getting two flagrant 1s or one flagrant 2 in a game also carries an immediate ejection.

Harden Allegedly Goes Below The Belt

Game 3 of the 76ers-Nets series was weird. The Sixers were 2-0 on the series and looking to put the penultimate nail in Brooklyn’s coffin. But less than four minutes into the game, Joel Embiid was called for a flagrant 1 after kicking Nic Claxton. Claxton had just postered Embiid with a heavy alley-oop dunk and Embiid kicked him as Claxton stepped over the MVP front-runner. Furthermore, at the time of the foul, the Nets led 6-4. However, the Sixers found themselves up 11 at the half. The game then swung back and forth until the end of the third, with the Nets up four. The Sixers get Harden the ball off an offensive rebound, hoping he can sink a three.

Royce O’Neale closes in on Harden before Harden begins to drive closer to the three line. Harden appears to make light contact with O’Neale’s groin and O’Neale goes down like he’s been shot. Harden was called for a flagrant 2 and tossed from the game. But we’re not done as Claxton, from the Embiid thing earlier, would also be ejected before game’s end. After dunking on Embiid again in the fourth, Claxton was tossed for flexing on Embiid and being called for a second technical foul. Previously, he had picked up his first tech for stepping over Embiid in the first. Eventually, the Sixers pulled off a 102-97 win, taking a 3-0 series lead into Saturday’s Game 4.

Colin Cowherd’s Hot Take On James Harden

Colin Cowherd is making waves with his latest comments on Sixers star James Harden. On Tuesday’s episode of Herd w/Colin Cowherd, the radio host went at Harden’s struggles in the opening round series with the Brooklyn Nets. Cowherd went as far as to say that Harden has become a glorified role player for Philadelphia. The definition of a role player is hard to describe as a former league MVP. However, Harden’s performance in Game 2 of the Sixers-Nets series does leave a lot to be desired.

Harden finished the game with just 8 points in nearly 40 minutes of a play. It doesn’t help that Harden was also second in turnovers on the team, with five. However, Cowherd believes there is a lot that has gone into the dropping in performance by Harden. One of those things is how Harden has treated his body during his playing career. Cowherd credits Tom Brady and LeBron James for how they take care of their bodies during the season. Now, Cowherd doesn’t believe that what Harden does off the court is wrong. But he does see it as a factor in how Harden has performed as he has aged.

Colin Cowherd Doesn’t Have Faith In Harden

Harden’s playoff performances have gotten worse as time has gone on. His points-per-game average has become drastically worse in just four years. In order for the Sixers to contend for the NBA Finals, they will need to see glimpses of the old Harden. In the current series with the Nets, the Sixers have gone to Tyrese Maxey as their second scoring option. Maxey finished game two as the leading scorer for the Sixers. The former Kentucky star dropped 33 points in the presence of his college coach John Calipari.

To win the NBA Finals, a team must see great performances from everyone who sees the court. However, Harden has yet to deliver a great performance in the first two games of the opening round. Does Colin Cowherd have a point about Harden’s current role in Philadelphia? Can the Sixers win the championship without more of an impact from Harden? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section. For the latest NBA news, keep it locked in here with HNHH.

James Harden Looks Back On Time With The Nets

James Harden is gearing up for another playoff run. The former league MVP will look to help lead the Philadelphia 76ers to the NBA championship. Harden seems to be in a good place, both physically and mentally, with the Sixers. However, that hasn’t been the case at every stop of Harden’s journey. It’s no secret that Harden had a miserable time in his stint with the Brooklyn Nets. The franchise seemed to be in disarray from many different vantage points. Harden recently discussed his time as a member of the Nets.

On Friday, Harden spoke with the media on what led to his exit from Brooklyn. “There’s a lot of internal things that was going on, which was one of the reasons why I made my decision. And everybody talked down on me & gave me negative feedback…But now fast forward today, nobody’s like, okay, James was smart.” Harden had harsh words for the Brooklyn franchise, and probably for good reason. The team thought they were building a super team with Harden, Durant, Irving, and even Simmons. Now Simmons is the only remaining player on the roster.

James Harden Felt Disrespected By Brooklyn

There were so many moving parts around the Nets during Harden’s tenure. But how did it fall so quickly? The Nets had enough talent to create the newest dynasty in the NBA. Now the answer seems to be in plain sight. The Nets allowed a toxic environment that turned their potential all-star roster sour. While it has always been difficult to keep every star happy on a team. It feels like the Nets couldn’t keep one member of their roster happy. Now the Nets are looking ahead to a rebuild. As Harden is looking for a championship to add to his resume.

Harden’s words on the Nets have come at the right time. The Sixers will meet the Nets in the opening round of the NBA Playoffs. A matchup that Harden is for sure looking forward to. Harden barely spent a full season in Brooklyn. However, his time there could basically become a movie. The Nets will be known for one of the biggest franchise meltdowns in league history. What are your thoughts on James Harden’s opinion on his time in Brooklyn? Please leave your thoughts in the comment section. For the latest NBA news, keep it right here with HNHH.

Stephen A. Smith Delivers Hot Take On James Harden

Stephen A. Smith is bringing the fire with his latest hot take. On Thursday, the First Take crew discussed the future of Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard. While discussing potential destinations for Lillard, Smith had one place in mind. That place is in Philadelphia with the 76ers. While the Sixers may not currently discuss the matter of bringing in Lillard. However, the thought of bringing in the superstar is certainly tempting. For Smith, the answer is easy if the possibility is real. Even if it means losing James Harden in the process.

“I would take Damian Lillard over James Harden in a heartbeat. I wouldn’t think twice if I was Philly and I can get my hands on Dame, and I had to forfeit Harden — I’m not talking about trading, if he walked out the door — so be it,” Smith stated when discussing Lillard. The Portland guard would be a franchise changer for anyone who gets his services. Lillard averaged thirty-two points and seven assists per game this season. Recently the NBA All-Star has begun voicing his displeasure with how things are going in Portland.

Stephen A. Smith Would Move On From Harden For Lillard

While Lillard would be a massive addition for the Sixers. However, Harden has played great for Philadelphia this season. Harden averaged ten assists per game this regular season. Furthering the point that the former league MVP works well with a potential MVP in Joel Embiid. It seems that Harden has finally accepted the role of being number two. Which has benefited the Sixers, as the team is a top-three seed in the Eastern Conference.

James Harden rumors are not what Philadelphia wants to hear at this moment. The team is in a good place as they look to reach the NBA Finals. However, it looks like there could be a decision for the franchise in the near future. Would Lillard be a good fit with the Sixers? Who would be the number one scoring option with the addition of Lillard? Let us know your thoughts on a potential Lillard-Sixers partnership in the comment section. James Harden Opens Up On All-Star Snub

James Harden has had a great season with the Philadelphia Sixers. The former league MVP has averaged a double-double for his team. Finishing the regular season averaging 21 points and 10 assists per game. However, his performance went unnoticed by fans who voted in the 2023 NBA All-Star game. Harden is a 10x all-star that hadn’t missed the event since 2011-12. So just how did Harden feel about his snub this season? The Sixers star had one word to describe the situation, disrespectful.

“I said it already, disrespectful! Most of the people that understand basketball get my value, but some just get bored with my numbers.” Harden set down to do an interview as this month’s cover athlete of SLAM Magazine. The Sixers guard believes fans just expect greatness from him. Insinuating that his numbers just look average to the casual fan. Whatever the case may be, Harden has a few words for those who don’t believe in him. “Let’s revisit when I win a championship.”

James Harden Is Ready For Championship Run

Harden may have his greatest chance at becoming an NBA champion this season. The Sixers are a strong team as the league heads into the playoffs. Harden has been the perfect teammate for Sixers big man Joel Embiid. Embiid has been all the talk for the MVP award this season. However, Harden has already been there and done that. A fact it seems that many have forgotten. But Harden is ready to show fans that he hasn’t lost a step in his quest for his first ring. His teammate Embiid is also looking for his first appearance in the NBA Finals.

James Harden has done a great job performing in the shadows this season. One has to think Harden’s name hasn’t been mentioned as much due to the success of Embiid. However, his numbers don’t lie. The Sixers have a great duo trending in the right direction for the post-season. Will the Sixers and Harden finally achieve that long-awaited championship? Or will Philly be looking for answers by failing to achieve the ultimate goal? Let us know your thoughts on a Sixers championship run in the comment section below. James Harden Rumored To Be Eyeing A Rockets Reunion

James Harden is a player who has bounced around the league quite a bit since 2020. After starting the 2020-2021 season with the Houston Rockets, Harden was subsequently traded to the Brooklyn Nets. From there, he lasted about a season and a half before going to the Philadelphia 76ers. Overall, Harden was going through a transitional period in his career. Having said that, it only made sense that he would want to explore a variety of teams.

At this point, Harden seems to be at home with the Sixers. He has been playing exceptionally well, and overall, the team is now third in the Eastern Conference. Furthermore, they have a real chance to make some noise in the playoffs. Harden is older and wiser, meaning he could be able to shake off those demons from the playoffs’ past. At the end of the day, there are fewer expectations on him now, which could very well make it easier for him to get it done under pressure.

James Harden Moving On?

Moreover, this is also a big year for Harden because he can become a free agent at the end of the season. Now, reports are circulating that Harden may actually go back to the team where he had the most success. Yes, that’s right, a Harden-Rockets reunion may be on the horizon. According to Tim MacMahon of ESPN, even Houston is preparing for it to happen. “James Harden still spends a lot of time in Houston,” MacMahon said. “Spends his summers in Houston. Works out at the Rockets’ facility on a regular basis. It’s a very real possibility. And Harden, by the way, never shot it down. He just said ‘I don’t know where that came from.’”

These rumors have been circulating since around Christmas time. However, it is hard to see why Harden would want to go back there given the fact that the Rockets are terrible right now. Their young stars are playing losing basketball and they are the worst team in the league. That said, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the NBA world. Additionally, let us know what you think Harden should do, in the comments down below.

James Harden & Dillon Brooks Get Heated: Watch

James Harden has been having an amazing resurgence this year. After regressing a bit last year due to injury, Harden has been back in the driver’s seat. Overall, the Philadelphia 76ers are settling into the top half of the Eastern Conference standings. Although they had a poor start, they are now considered to be the third-best team in the Conference. The Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics are above them, but once the playoffs come around, you never know what can happen.

One team that is going in the opposite direction in terms of momentum is the Memphis Grizzlies. Over their last few games, the Grizzlies have been awful. In fact, some have pointed at the Shannon Sharpe incident as a turning point for the team. Guys like Dillon Brooks have been called out for being pests on the court, and there is no doubt he is hated. On Thursday night, Dillon and Harden hit a collision course as the Grizzlies and Sixers duked it out in Philly.

James Harden Vs. Dillon Brooks

In the clip up above, you can see that things got chippy between these two players. The incident between the two occurred in just the first quarter, less than four minutes into the game. Furthermore, it seems like the two bumped chests and once the whistle blew, they exchanged words. Harden and Brooks were right in each other’s faces, and their teammates had to come to break it up. Both of these teams have been in their fair share of brawls over the years. However, this time around, they let cooler heads prevail.

Eventually, the Sixers went on to win the game thanks to Harden’s 31 points. As for Brooks, he had about 20 points less than Harden, which shows you who won the battle. Overall, the Grizzlies are a team on the decline, while the Sixers continue their ascent. With the playoffs just about a month and a half away, it will be interesting to see how things shape up. No matter what, it is clear we are in for a fantastic postseason. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the sports world.

James Harden On Kevin Durant & Kyrie Irving Trades: “I Don’t Look Like the Crazy One”

James Harden says he no longer looks like “the crazy one” following the Brooklyn Nets’ recent trades before the deadline. The team sent Kyrie Irving to the Dallas Mavericks and Kevin Durant to the Phoenix Suns. Harden himself left the Nets, last season, after a tumultuous stretch with the team. Harden discussed his tenure with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant following the Philidelphia 76ers’ 101-98 win over the Nets on Saturday night.

“I didn’t just ask to leave for no reason,” Harden said after the game. “I was in a really good place in Houston. Obviously, we didn’t have a chance to win a championship, but I was comfortable. So for me to up and leave my family, all the things I created there, to come to Brooklyn for a year and a half to try to just get up and leave, it was for a reason, you know what I mean? But I’m happy for the organization and what they’ve got back. They got some really good pieces.”

James Harden’s Comments

“Frustrating,” he said of his time with the Nets. “It’s a lot of what-ifs, I think when you play less than 20 games together. So it’s a little bit frustrating, but it is what it is. Hopefully, everybody’s in a good place now and we can move on.” He continued: “I don’t look like the crazy one. I don’t look like the guy or the quitter or whatever the media want to call me. I knew what was going on and I just decided to…hey, I’m not built for this. I don’t want to deal with that. I want to play basketball and have fun”

Harden joined the Nets back in January 2021, immediately making the team a favorite to compete for NBA titles. However, their potential was never realized and the team failed to even make it to the conference finals. By February 2022, the Nets shipped Harden to the 76ers. Harden lobbied for the deal as he could sense things were moving in a bad direction for the Nets.

Harden also addressed whether Kyrie Irving’s antics factored into his decision to leave the Nets: “That’s not something that I’m going to answer. But the reason I made that decision to get out of my comfort zone which was leave Houston and do everything that I did to get out of there was to come in and play with KD and Kyrie.

Lil Baby Reveals Origin Of James Harden Friendship

Lil Baby is one of the biggest artists in the world right now. His albums are some of the best-selling records in the world, and he has become one of the new faces of hip-hop. Additionally, he has been praised by many of his peers, and even those who came before him. Overall, Baby has an incredibly bright future, and people are excited to see where he goes from here on out. One person who is definitely excited about Baby’s future success is his best friend, James Harden.

Ever since Harden’s days with the Houston Rockets, he has been frequently spotted alongside Lil Baby. The two go clubbing on numerous occasions, whether it be strip clubs or hot spots. Moreover, the two have gone to fashion week together and have even traveled the world. In some respects, they are the male version of Thelma and Louise. While Harden might be in Philadelphia now, there is no doubt that these two still make time for each other. As Harden and Baby continue to develop in their respective crafts, that approach to their friendship won’t change.

Lil Baby x James Harden

Over the weekend, TMZ was able to catch up with Lil Baby following the Grammys. It was here that the outlet decided to ask the artist about his friendship with the NBA superstar. Overall, Baby noted that the origin of their friendship is quite simple. He noted that they are both “snipers,” and no, this is not some sort of commentary on Harden’s jump shot. Instead, he means that they both have an appreciation for beautiful women. Furthermore, they can spot these women from a mile away. Needless to say, this love of women is the backbone of their strong friendship.

For Harden, gorgeous women will have to take a backseat right now. He is currently in the midst of a solid season with the Philadelphia 76ers, and he is trying to get his team a title. The Sixers haven’t gotten past the second round with Joel Embiid, and Harden is being tasked with changing that. As for Lil Baby, we’re sure he will be at those Sixers playoff games come April.
