Reese earned MVP of the Final Four, and rightfully so. LSU was the better team in the National Championship. But Iowa may still be getting the same accolades.

First Lady Jill Biden reportedly wants to extend a White House visit to LSU and Iowa. A White House visit normally is only extended to the champions of said sport. However, Biden believes that both participants should enjoy the honorary visit. Word of the potential joint visit quickly spread across social media. With LSU’s star expressing her opinion on the situation. In a tweet on the situation, Reese stated the joint visit would be “A JOKE.”

Angel Reese Has Become A College Basketball Star

This would be the first time that a losing team would join a champion during the White House visit. While the invitation hasn’t been extended to Iowa, one would assume the Hawkeyes would not accept anyway. The LSU program deserves its roses. The Tigers are the superior team in the women’s college basketball landscape. Angel Reese and her team deserve the White House moment on a pedestal alone. Not with the team they defeated. With all the discussion on the situation, the invitation to Iowa will likely never make its way to the team. Probably better that it doesn’t.

Caitlin Clark is her. She is the one. After a crazy 40-point triple-double in the game before, Clark led the Iowa Hawkeyes into a matchup with the top-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks and dropped 41 more points. She is now headed to the championship game.

Las Vegas odds had the Gamecocks as high as -675 as favorites before the game started. Clark didn’t care, hopping out to an early lead over Aliyah Boston, the projected No. 1 in the forthcoming WNBA draft, Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks and battled for a down-to-the-wire win.

The Gamecocks’ stingy defense couldn’t contain Clark as she pushed to pace and scored or assisted on every single one of the Hawkeyes’ points in their 77-73 victory.

“We had nothing to lose. I have all the confidence in the world in this group, and they believe right back in me, and that’s all you need,” Clark said to ESPN. “All we do is believe in one another and we love each other to death, and that’s what a true team is. If you want an example of a team, that’s what this is.”

Clark’s 41 points included five threes and an overall 15/31 shooting. She also added eight assists and six rebounds.

Up next for her Hawkeyes is a championship game against 3-seeded LSU.

A bit of water splashed on Fetty Wap, causing the rapper to lose his cool. The “Trap Queen” star was on hand at an Iowa Fair, and after he was hit with some water, he slapped a woman who was nearby.

HipHopDX notes in a separate clip that Fetty Wap was being pushed back by a security guard as he slapped both the bottle and fan.

In December, Rolling Stone reported the rapper was nabbed at Newark Liberty International Airport after an alert from his ankle monitor showed he had an outstanding warrant. The warrant was for a public nuisance charge.

That same month, Fetty Wap spoke out for the first time following his October arrest at CitiField on federal drug charges. He subsequently entered a not guilty plea and was released on bond, but he’s also accused of being responsible for running a drug ring based out of Long Island. If convicted, he could face life in prison. 

According to federal reports on the case, Fetty Wap and his alleged drug ring had been responsible for trafficking over 100 kilos of opioids, crack, and cocaine from the West Coast to be sold on Long Island. The FBI also recovered $1.5 million in cash, 16 kilograms of cocaine, 2 kilograms of heroin, fentanyl pills, two 9mm handguns, a rifle, a .45 caliber pistol, a .40 caliber pistol, and ammunition.
