Michael Rapaport Now Says Kevin Durant “Situation” Has “Gotten Out Of Hand”

It’s unclear what Michael Rapaport was trying to accomplish when he shared his DM conversations with Kevin Durant. Days ago, Rapaport accused the NBA star of threatening him and uploaded a series of screenshots that showed Durant using, let’s say, unfavorable language with the actor. Durant quickly came forward to apologize and insisted that he and Rapaport speak to each other that way regularly. Rapaport responded by continuing his tirade against Durant by not only speaking about the controversy on his podcast but by sharing several social media posts about the incident. In turn, Durant was fined $50K but the league.

“Yo, this situation with Durant has gotten out of hand. I feel bad about it. I feel bad about my involvement in the situation,” said Rapaport in a video he shared on Instagram. “I feel bad that it’s gotten this far. You know, I met him one time, it was cool, cordial. I’mma fan. I met him as a fan. And the funny thing is, he actually had reached out to me about doing something that I call on social media, ‘The Shame Game,’ about putting people who talk sh*t on social media on blast. That was actually the way we met.”

Rapaport added that this wasn’t the first time he’d posted DMs from people. “People are saying anti-Semitic things about me. Saying racist things about me, threatening me, and they’re Joe Shmoes, everybody loves it. But when it was Durant, people got four hundred opinions, I’m a rat. F*ck all that rat sh*t.”

“I don’t consider him a friend. The way he was talking to me is not like a person who is a friend. I don’t speak to friends like that. I don’t banter with friends, telling them, ‘Yo, when I see you, I’m gonna spit in your face, ha ha ha,'” the actor added. “That’s not banter. That’s not locker room talk. Those are threats. They were made over and over and over. It’s been going on for months.”

Rapaport said Durant just happened to catch him on a “bad day” this week. “That being said, in my opinion, the whole situation got blown out of proportion.” Check out his explanation below.

Safaree Samuels, Known For His Fur Collection, Takes Anti-Fur Stance

It seems that we’re approaching the end of an era for Safaree Samuels. The reality star is known for his love of furs and in 2019, he even attended a pro-fur rally that made the local news in New York City. At the time, there was an anti-fur bill on the books and Safaree made his voice heard as he stood against the measure. However, he’s changed his tune since watching a few Netflix documentaries, particularly Seaspiracy, about the decimation of ecosystems.

The Love & Hip Hop New York star shared his thoughts on Twitter. “The fishing industry is going to end the world,” tweeted Safaree. “The illegal fishing and killing of dolphins and whales going on in Japan is unreal. Sharks will soon be extinct. I never knew how important sharks were to our waters until I watched seasspiracy on Netflix.”

He then took aim at his previous fur addiction. “To the FUR world I’ve been ignorant 2 alot of things going on in our planet,” he added. “But now I will make a change and stop supporting the killing of any wildlife and the extinction of living things. I wish the police would feel like this about killing unarmed black men,but this is a start.”

We’re sure PETA will accept him with open arms. Check out his tweets below.

Deshaun Watson’s Attorney Responds To Houston PD Investigation

Deshaun Watson is currently battling 19 different sexual assault lawsuits. These suits stem from allegations that he was sexually inappropriate with various massage therapists. In these allegations, each woman describes a similar pattern of behavior that saw Watson allegedly engaging in some disgusting acts. The lawsuits are being handled by attorney Tony Buzbee, who claims there is a plethora of evidence to substantiate the allegations.

Now, a new update has been presented in the case. According to the Houston PD, a formal complaint has been filed against Watson which means an investigation will now be taking place. Rusty Hardin, Watson’s attorney, is thrilled by this notion as he believes it will finally bring forth evidence that Watson did nothing wrong.

“We welcome this long overdue development. Now we will learn the identity of at least one accuser. We will fully cooperate with the Houston Police Department,” Hardin said.

The extent of the complaint was not revealed by the Houston PD although based on Hardin’s statement, it is most likely related to the lawsuits that have popped up over the past two weeks. This is a story that continues to develop and move at a high pace, so keep it locked for updates, as we will be sure to bring them to you.

LisaRaye McCoy Faces Colorism Accusations After Defending Radio Host

Days ago, controversial remarks were made by radio host Rob Lederman after he took to the Morning Bull Show and compared women’s skin tones to toaster settings. “I would never go to a Serena Williams level, but I’m very comfortable with a Halle Berry level,” said Lederman. Soon, he was fired from his job and he later issued an apology, but Berry wouldn’t let it slide. She publicly condemned him, but LisaRaye McCoy doesn’t understand why people are making a big deal out of Lederman’s preferences.

“He’s just saying he doesn’t go as far as a dark-skinned Black woman,” said McCoy while chatting with her Cocktails with Queens co-hosts. “He’s comfortable with the color of a Halle Berry. What’s wrong with that?” Syleena Johnson jumped in to disagree, noting that it wasn’t necessary for Lederman to have a conversation about the skin tones of Black women.

“That’s colorism! He could have said that differently in this climate,” added Johnson. Still, McCoy was unmoved and attempted to counter her co-host. “I always say I either wanna get a latte or I’ll say I wanna caramel latte or a mocha,” said McCoy, But Johnson told her that she’s a Black woman, not a White man making those statements.

Back in January, McCoy was criticized after she defended DaniLeigh following the singer’s “Yellow Bone” controversy, saying she should be able to “celebrate her skin.”

LeBron James Comments On MLB Taking All-Star Game From Atlanta

Georgia is catching a lot of flack this week after the state implemented new voting laws that would act as a suppression for those looking to cast their ballots. During the Presidential and Senate elections in Georgia, the state saw record turnout and it led to a big win for the Democrats. Now, this progress is being impeded, and many are upset with the new legislation.

In fact, Major League Baseball is pulling their All-Star Game out of Atlanta as they feel like what Georgia is doing, is heinous. LeBron James, who now has ownership in the Boston Red Sox, agrees with the decision and took to Twitter with his thoughts.

Following the decision, the Atlanta Braves took to Twitter with a statement of their own, where they expressed disappointment in the league’s course of action.

“This was neither our decision, nor our recommendation and we are saddened that fans will not be able to see the event in our city,” the Braves statement said. “The Braves organization will continue to stress the importance of equal voting opportunities and we had hoped our city could use this event as a platform to enhance the discussion. Our city has always been known as a uniter in divided times and we will miss the opportunity to address issues that are important to our community.”

For now, voter rights continue to be a hot-button issue and it’s one that LeBron has committed a lot of time to. Having said that, it’s easy to see why LeBron is siding with MLB on this one.

“It’s a little bit unreal, coming from where I come from—where people have been lining up for Jordans or camping out for them overnight…I even did it myself when I was younger,” Diggs said. “This is both unreal and surreal, to be a part of a successful brand that everybody knows and respects. Jordan Brand has an elite group of athletes. Everyone plays at a high level…I’ll never forget the moment I got the call.”

Jordan Brand has been making a push for the NFL as of late and Diggs is an example of that. While no one knows for sure what this new endorsement will entail, it’s clear that Diggs is getting paid handsomely.

Donald Trump Owes $130 For McDonald’s Tab, According To Ex-Bodyguard

It’s no secret that Donald Trump loves his McDonald’s, especially if it comes alongside a Diet Coke. In a very strange update from one of former President Donald Trump’s ex-bodyguards, he claims that the since-departed Commander-In-Chief owes him $130 for a McDonald’s bill that he was asked to front the money for.

Kevin McKay supposedly worked for Donald Trump for about 5 years as a bodyguard, and he specifically recalls one time in 2008 when he and Trump were visiting a golf course in Scotland. McKay said that before flying home, their convoy of 6 Range Rovers went through the McDonald’s drive-thru. According to McKay, Trump didn’t have any UK currency at the time, “so he asked me if I could front him the cash,” which he did, ordering 20 cheeseburgers and fries and between 10 and 15 Cokes, which cost $130.

Trump enjoyed his usual meal of 2 cheeseburgers, fries, and a Diet Coke, but McKay found himself stressing about the money. He claims that he only made $2,700 a month when he worked for Trump, so spending $130 wasn’t chump change.

While McKay says he could have asked for the money back, he kept blowing it off, and there was likely a kind of power dynamic at play working for Donald Trump. He was fired from Trump’s bodyguard service in 2012, but the stress of working for the reality television star cost him his 23-year-marriage. Ouch.
