Floyd Mayweather is one of the greatest fighters of all time and he has certainly earned his hundreds of millions of dollars. At 44 years old, Mayweather can do whatever he wants when it comes to the sport of boxing, and as of late, he has decided to engage in high-paying exhibition matches. For instance, Mayweather is going to be fighting against Logan Paul this weekend, and he could very well make $100 million as he is expected to receive 50 percent of the Pay-Per-View share.

While speaking to TMZ Sports about the fight, Mayweather mentioned his potential earnings and how it is a great situation for him. He even noted that based on the haul he’s about to make, we should all be expecting a match against Logan’s brother, Jake, in the near future.

As for the fight on Sunday, Mayweather knows he will be criticized no matter what he does.

“To me, it’s a win-win but I’m in a no-win because if I knock him out fast in the 1st round, they’re gonna be like ‘Aw man this wasn’t worth it.’ If I let it go a few rounds and drag it out, they’re gonna be like ‘Aw man, he let a YouTuber hang in it for a few rounds’. But, it is what it is. We’re gonna have some fun Sunday,” Mayweather said.

Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak still have people anticipating their next moves as the newly-formed soul duo known as Silk Sonic. Thankfully, they’ve finally resurfaced to drop a jingle for the Mars-owned premium rum brand SelvaRey.

“Still no signs of an album but we did click up on a new rum and it’s THE BEST RUM ON PLANET EARTH,” Paak jokingly wrote on Instagram in his post announcement, including a quick line of promo by also adding, “Drink responsibly with @selvareyrum and don’t forget, time flys when you’re having rum!!” The sentiment was shared by Bruno as well, who wrote on his own page, “Us all being musicians it’s only right that we put together the official jingle for @selvareyrum.” 

The jingle in question is pretty catchy, mixing in some salsa vibes with a side of soul that’s dedicated solely to sipping lovely in the summertime. Even though this isn’t one of our usual music posts, peep the lyrics below so you can learn them and sing along:

As stated earlier, Silk Sonic has many people on the edge of their seats to hear an official new single or the duo’s debut album overall, An Evening with Silk Sonic. If their next music drop sounds anything like the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping lead single “Leave the Door Open,” we can surely expect one soulful summer. Hurry up and drop the album, guys!

We’re sure everyone is hoping Florida can learn to chill TF out this summer. However, that becomes a hard reality to work towards when people are still losing their lives senselessly due to fatal shootings like this recent report we came across in Northwest Miami-Dade.

The fatal incident unfortunately left two people dead and roughly 20 to 25 people injured, and adding insult to industry it all may have started due to a local rap rivalry.

AllHipHop reports that investigators are asking the community to help them in getting information on the three gunmen who shot 26 people and killed two at a banquet hall in Florida.

Here’s a more detailed account of what went down below, via AHH:

“The cops have more information than people think. Ramirez says at a press conference, “These gun-violence-driven murderers, as it has been said eloquently before me, who are targeting individuals and at the same time hitting innocent people who have nothing to do with their beef, ruining families.” Investigators noted that there was an album release party happening the day of the shooting and that several local rappers such as ABMG Spitta were performing. Flyers about this event were scattered around social media. Also across social media was chatter that included threats and gunplay talk. They are trying to comb through the information to build their case.”

As you can see from the featured photo above, these guys had bullets flying everywhere around the Hialeah, Florida banquet hall. Authorities have released footage of the shooters arriving and leaving, and other footage shows three masked gunmen with semi-automatic rifles and handguns hopping out of a white Nissan Pathfinder to shoot up the spot.

We’re praying for the families of those lost, and praying justice is served overall in this unfortunate situation. Long story short though, calm down Floridians!

Mary J. Blige has been officially divorced from her ex-husband, Kendu Isaacs, for over two years now, so it makes perfect sense that she’d be ready to jump back into the dating market again. Well, it now looks like Griselda homie Conway The Machine might be looking to be the next leading man in her life following some recent signs of flirtation on his end.

Honestly, we can’t blame him for shooting his shot if true. We can definitely think of more than one good reason a guy would fiend for MJB.

Onsite! made the original observation of a possible Conway/Mary love connection based off a few recent moments of flirtation. In one of his most recent Instagram Stories, Conway reposted a picture from MJB’s induction into the Apollo Walk Of Fame last week accompanied by a heart eyes emoji, bee emoji, robot face emoji and the hashtag #mines. While the symbols are a bit vague, aside from that heart eyes jawn, the use of that hashtag actually alludes to their situation being more than just a crush.

The other form of evidence was a quick clip of both music stars dancing hand-in-hand at a recent event, and the comments were definitely going off with inquiring minds. “New couple alert!!!!!!!” wrote one follower on his IG page, meanwhile another said, “Gave Her The Chain & 2 Stepped W/ Her. That’s How Bosses Move,” in reference to the bling-bling he gifted to her as a friend. Usually the chain is a sure sign of dating, but we’ll give these two some time to become official before we start jumping to conclusions. If it’s true though, we can’t wait to see the music these two make!

With world views constantly changing when it comes to opinions towards previously taboo subjects, it makes sense that feelings towards the practice of polygamy have been a little more accepted. 

Florida-bred rapper Kodak Black is the latest to make an argument for multiple wifeys in the crib, literally requesting it in a recent tweet-and-delete situation on Twitter.

“I Jus Want Both My Girlfriends In 1 House On One Accord & They Can Get Whatever From Me [sic],” Kodak tweeted, pretty much confirming that he is for sure down with getting himself some sister wives. Of course, that statement did leave a few people wondering if that meant his current girlfriend, 19-year-old up-and-coming rapper Mellow Rackz, was also down with the get down as well. 

As always, The Shade Room garnered the most hilarious comments when they reposted the story. One user wrote in support, “I mean when you have money i guess you can live like that lol.” He got a few responses from public figures as well, including cheers of support from Hitmaka (fka Young Berg) and comedic actor D.C. Young Fly all the way to crying emojis reactions like the one posted by the official Divorce Court account.

The Shade Room‘s post also included a video clip of Kodak and “wifey numero uno” looking boo’d up in admittedly the most uncomfortable way possible. From her small bucket hat and even smaller tight corset to Kodak’s slightly creepy staring, it doesn’t surprise us in the least bit that people left comments like “She don’t even look like she want to be there” and “I want her to blink twice if she wants out” amongst many others.
