Lil Durk Shows Love To His Seven Kids

Lil Durk has been on a hot streak for a while. Even though the Chicago rapper initially broke out onto the scene in the early 2010s, he has been experiencing a major second wind in his career, having appeared on Drake’s “Laugh Now Cry Later” and released the highly successful album The Voice. Throughout his resurgence, Lil Durk has collaborated with practically every major rapper in the current generation of Hip-Hop artists, from Lil Baby and Gunna to Roddy Ricch and Pooh Shiesty. One would assume that Durkio has plenty of friends in the music industry, but according to the “Kanye Krazy” rapper, his family ties are much more important to him.

Yesterday, Lil Durk proved that he’s OTF even outside of his music career when he took to Instagram to share a sweet sentiment directed at his family. In a quick post to his IG story, the Chicago rapper wrote, “Who needs kids when you got 7 kids.” The simple phrase appeared in white text over an all-black background, and underneath it, Durkio added a memoji that showed him blowing a kiss, making for an uncharacteristically vulnerable and loving social media post. His story post has since vanished, but luckily The Shade Room caught it before it disappeared. Check it out below.

Nike’s Brand New Air Max Releases Next Week: Photos

Every single year, Nike unveils a brand new Air Max silhouette as a way to celebrate Nike Air Max Day, which typically goes down on March 26th. Air Max Day is just over a week away and as of just a couple of days ago, Nike had not given sneakerheads any insight as to what the next Air Max shoe will be. Well, recently, that all changed as Nike released the official images for the Air Max Pre-Day, which can be found below.

As you can see, this shoe is mostly covered in light green, all while the Nike swoosh and Air Max unit are black. From there, we have a white midsole for good measure and contract. As Nike describes, this shoe is meant to be a mixture of old and new aesthetics, and we can even see some references to the Waffle. There is a blend of materials and based on everything going on here, it seems like this Air Max is going to be popular.

If you’re looking to get your hands on these, you will be able to do so as of March 26 through the SNKRS App. This pair is set to cost $130 USD which is certainly a modest cost for an Air Max.

Andy Dalton Reveals His New Role With The Bears

Andy Dalton had a topsy turvy time with the Cincinnati Bengals as he was eventually ousted after a couple of subpar seasons. Since that time, Dalton has played with the Dallas Cowboys, mostly as a replacement to Dak Prescott. During the offseason, Dalton got a brand new opportunity to shine as he was signed to the Chicago Bears. Of course, the Bears also had Nick Foles and Mitch Trubisky, although the latter of those two quarterbacks just signed with the Buffalo Bills.

Recently, Dalton was asked about his role with the Bears and where he will be on the depth chart. According to reporter Adam Jahns, Dalton divulged that he was told he would be the starting quarterback, which means one can assume Nick Foles will have to be the backup.

This might come across as some disappointing news for Bears fans who figured the team wasn’t done in free agency. There were still some fans out there who thought the Bears would go after Russell Wilson or Deshaun Watson but at this point, that certainly isn’t going to be happening anytime soon.

There are still a plethora of quarterbacks on the market right now, so keep it locked to HNHH as we will continue to keep you informed when it comes to NFL free agency.

Coachella Reportedly Delayed To 2022

Though some were cautiously optimistic that music festivals would resume this summer, it would appear that the Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival is opting to play it safe. A new report from Variety indicates that the massive U.S. Festival will be delayed once again, moving from its original projected date of October 2021 and slating a tentative new one for April 2022.

It should be noted that this delay would not be the first, but the fourth time Coachella’s date has been changed. Originally slated for April 2020, it was later delayed to October of that same year. Next came a shift to April 2021, as well as a subsequent (albeit unconfirmed) shift to October 2021. Now, it would appear that Coachella is looking to skip out on 2021 entirely, though the festival’s official page has yet to confirm this new development.

It’s not entirely surprising to see the chips fall in this direction. In January of this year, Coachella announced that they would be canceling the festival’s upcoming April dates, with a statement shining a light on the decision. “[Coachella attracts] hundreds of thousands of attendees from many countries, including several disproportionately afflicted by the worldwide COVID-19 epidemic,” reads their official explanation. “If COVID-19 were detected at these festivals, the scope and number of attendees and the nature of the venue would make it infeasible, if not impossible, to track those who may be placed at risk.”

Given that vaccination efforts are in full swing in many countries, it should be interesting to see how music festivals begin to reintegrate into the fold. Some states with limited COVID-19 restrictions are already looking to speed up the process, but from the sound of it, Coachella is opting to take it slow. Stay tuned for further news on the festival’s future plans.

Young Buck Says 50 Cent Beef Was Staged

For the last three years, 50 Cent and Young Buck have been going back-and-forth with disrespectful posts about one another on social media. Much of their dispute was seemingly born from a video of Buck allegedly hooking up with a transgender woman. Since the video was released online, Fiddy has been hating on his former G-Unit partner with transphobic insults, as well as other personal jabs.

We’ve kept you posted over the course of their feud, sharing each and every update as it happened. However, as Young Buck is admitting on Thursday, the entire beef was allegedly staged.

“We playing that sh*t. We ain’t got no motherf*cking beef. You understand me? That’s what you motherf*ckers get ’cause you motherf*ckers are always chasing this beef sh*t, and then we done played y’all motherf*cking ass,” said Buck on Instagram Live. “Whole time, bro. Whole time, y’all thinking whatever the f*ck y’all thinking. So really, we win. ‘Cause we made all you motherf*ckers think that it’s beef and we don’t like each other. I just got off the phone with the n***a. We just shot a video yesterday. About to drop it and give it to the world. I just want y’all to understand one thing, man. That’s what you motherf*ckers get, man. This social media sh*t got you people f*cked up. Y’all got played this time.”

According to Buck, Fif was the mastermind behind the entire thing.

“We sat down and master-planned this sh*t out. 50 was like, ‘I’ma say all kinds of sh*t about you, n***a. I’ma make them f*cking hate you. Then you gone make them love you again,'” said Buck, recalling his initial conversation with the music legend. “I just followed the n***a plan and then, all of a sudden, I guess the n***a was right because they love me again. And I did it… I made them love me again.”

Buck says that that 50’s plan was always to go off and do his television projects while still keeping the pressure on Buck, giving him time to reclaim his fanbase. Apparently, the master plan has to do with G-Unit’s return to relevance, which will surely excite a lot of fans that have been hoping for a reunion.

Watch the video above. Buck says he’ll get on live soon with Fiddy to confirm that he’s telling the truth.

Instagram Aims To Protect Teenagers With New Updates

As we’ve seen over the last decade, social media has become a favorite pastime for people of all ages. While there is the stigma that older social media users gravitate to Facebook and children are obsessed with TikTok, Instagram is one social media platform that tends to have an audience with a much more varied age range. Unfortunately, that can lead to inappropriate and dangerous interactions between adults and underage users, so Instagram has announced that it will be updating the app with a string of prompts, restrictions, and new settings that are all geared towards protecting young Instagram users.

In a tweet on Tuesday morning, Instagram revealed the changes that would be coming to the beloved social media platform, saying that the updates are being done “to keep teens safe on Instagram.” The three-part update involves restricting adults from being able to DM underage users who are not following them, sending safety prompts to teens in an effort to encourage them to be safe while messaging adults that they are connected with, and suggesting that teenage users opt to make their accounts private.

According to Complex, Instagram has also teamed up with ConnectSafely and The Child Mind Institute to provide a new parental guide that offers tools, tips, resources, and conversation starters for teens and their parents.

Jordyn Woods Responds To Karl-Anthony Towns Cheating Rumors

Karl-Anthony Towns has had a tumultuous year off the court, mourning the deaths of seven family members from COVID-19. The last thing he needs is for false rumors to be circulating online, painting him as a cheater. That’s exactly what happened when somebody allegedly manipulated screenshots to make it appear as though KAT was two-timing his girlfriend Jordyn Woods

After the chatter took social media by storm, Jordyn Woods has officially responded by denying that there’s nothing happening between her and Karl-Anthony, telling her followers that the screenshots are fake.

“People really be praying on your downfall,” wrote the model on Twitter. “So crazy how someone can make fake screenshots and send it to blogs and y’all believe it. My relationship is more than solid and I put that on everything. He don’t even talk like that. ‘Mamita’, come on now. I normally don’t address anything but what you’re not gonna do is play with my mans character. And to the person who started this rumor… WE SEEE YOU SIS.. since you wanna be seen SO BAD. God see you too.”

In the screenshots, which were posted by gossip blog @gossipofthecity_, Karl-Anthony allegedly organizes his next meet-up with his mistress, who says she’ll fly to meet him in Minnesota. It didn’t take a long time for Jordyn to see the trend taking off before addressing it and letting everyone know it’s not the real deal.

Karl-Anthony Towns has not addressed the scandal.

Do you think KAT was cheating?

Future’s “March Madness” Goes Double Platinum

Though it’s never wise to generalize, it sometimes feels as if Future’s fans can be categorized into two distinct camps. Those who believe “Codeine Crazy” to be his magnum opus, and those who believe “March Madness” to hold the honor. As it happens, those in the latter category secured a nice moral victory today, as Future’s beloved anthem recently hit a new milestone, officially receiving a second platinum certification from the RIAA.

While it’s not clear as to whether or not the ongoing March Madness played a role in driving up Future’s impressive streaming numbers, it wouldn’t be entirely surprising were they to have given the track a little boost. In any case, the beloved banger has received a well-deserved double platinum upgrade at the perfect time.

Given the song’s popularity and status as a definitive Future selection, it’s actually surprising that the numbers aren’t a little higher. In fact, it took some time for “March Madness” to hit the two million mark, having previously been certified platinum in May of 2017. For those keeping score in the great debate, it should be noted that “Codeine Crazy” has yet to earn an RIAA certification — somehow.

Congratulations to Future, whose “March Madness” remains the quintessential soundtrack for the year’s third month and all the basketball that comes with it. Do you queue this one up every springtime?

“Zack Snyder’s Justice League” Has Arrived On HBO Max: Twitter Reacts

Zack Snyder has been a busy man as of late, with two major streaming service releases set for this spring. On May 21, Snyder’s apocalyptic zombie thriller Army of the Dead arrives on Netflix, but today, the once-fabled and now official “Snyder Cut” of “Justice League” has finally been released on HBO Max, despite being accidentally leaked earlier last week. Fans of DC Comics, the DC Extended Universe, and superhero movies, in general, are teeming with excitement, and many have taken to Twitter to share their live reactions and overall thoughts about Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League, a.k.a. the Snyder Cut, is a four-hour-long superhero epic that expounds upon the original 2017 release of Justice League to reveal how Zack Snyder originally envisioned the film prior to him leaving the project mid-production. New additions to the film include the return of Jared Leto’s polarizing take on The Joker as well as extended camera time for Ray Fisher’s character Cyborg.

Early reviews of the Snyder Cut from critics have deemed the new version of Justice League to be just as sloppy and all over the place as the version released in 2017, but today fans are giving their opinions about the Snyder Cut and revealing whether it was worth the wait.

Have you already seen Zack Snyder’s Justice League? If so, how does it stack up against the original?
