Snoop Dogg’s Son, Cordell Broadus, Gets His Car Stolen

Cordell Broadus, son of Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus, was a victim of car theft this week. On Wednesday (May 4), while in Los Angeles, the 25-year-old got his vehicle stolen.

According to TMZ, a tracking company located the former football player’s 2022 BMW X6. After forwarding the location to the Los Angeles Police Department, the authorities hurried to redeem the automobile.

Upon arriving at the scene, the police took the car and arrested the alleged carjacker. A source told the media outlet that someone left the keys inside the expensive car, making it far from challenging to run off with it.

The site also found that the person apprehended for the crime had an active warrant for their arrest, and was booked for burglary of a motor vehicle. Police also noted that there were stolen items found inside the BMW. It is now up to the district attorney if the alleged thief will be charged or not.

In other news regarding Cordell’s father, Snoop Dogg, the series based on his infamous murder trial, Murder Was The Case, is no longer in production. 50 Cent, producer of hit television shows like BMF and Power, pitched the idea back in 2021 but recently claimed that Starz decided against the plan.

In a tweet, the rapper wrote, “Murder was the case is no longer in production at STARZ. I give them the alley-oop, they drop the damn ball. Anyway I dope snoop tell his story.”

DeMar DeRozan Has A Message For Bulls Fans

With Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Lonzo Ball on the roster this season, the Chicago Bulls were looking like prime favorites to take the Eastern Conference. They jumped out to an impressive record to start the year although once Lonzo went down with a knee injury, things started to go a bit downhill for the Bulls. Eventually, they finished sixth in the conference which is a lot worse than fans hoped they would do.

In the playoffs, the Bulls proved to be an easy out for the Milwaukee Bucks, who dismantled the team in just five games. It was a very solid showing by the Bucks and it was proof that the Bulls are much better off when they have a full roster with all of their playmakers healthy.

With that being said, DeRozan seems extremely pleased with where the team is at, moving forward. While speaking to the Bulls’ social media team, DeRozan was very adamant that this team is about to have a big showing next year.

“I can assure we’re gonna come back even better next year. Without a doubt,” DeRozan said.

This could be difficult for the Bulls to pull off as LaVine might not return. He wants to go through free agency, and if he doesn’t re-sign in Chicago, the Bulls might find themselves in a very bad position.

Nicki Minaj’s Father’s Killer Faces A Year In Prison After Pleading Guilty To A Pair Of Felonies

Last year, Nicki Minaj suffered a huge loss in her life through the unexpected death of her father Robert Maraj. The 64-year-old was walking between Roslyn Road and Raff Avenue in Long Island, New York on February 12, 2021 when he was hit by a car heading northbound. The driver did not stop at the scene and Maraj would eventually die from his injuries. The vehicle in question was driven by 71-year-old Charles Polevich who turned himself in for the incident less than a week later. As a result, Polevich was charged with one felony count each of leaving the scene of an incident without reporting and another count of evidence tampering.

A little over a year after the tragic incident, we now know how long Polevich might stay in prison. According to TMZ, the 71-year-old pled guilty to the aforementioned felonies during a recent hearing. With that, he escaped a seven-year sentence after Judge Howard Sturium agreed that Polevich could serve a maximum of one year in prison in addition to fulfilling community service requirements and getting his license suspended.

Shortly after her father’s death last winter, Nicki took to Instagram to remember him with a heartful message and pictures of them together. “I can say it has been the most devastating loss of my life,” she wrote in one post.

Polevich will head back to court on August 3 to receive his official prison sentence.

Johnny Depp Vs. Amber Heard: Court Is Staggering Exes Entrances & Exits To Avoid Conflict

As Johnny Depp and Amber Heard take a break from their ongoing defamation trial, TMZ has learned that the court has been doing everything in its power to keep the former lovers from crossing paths. Sources familiar with the situation have informed the outlet that both actors’ entrances and exits have been carefully organized by court deputies.

It’s been noted that the times are staggered to avoid any risk of Depp and Heard running into each other. During lunch breaks, they’re reportedly taken to opposite ends of the courthouse and kept away from the public due to their celebrity status.

In a clip that’s surfaced online from the Aquaman star’s Thursday testimony, we see deputies standing between her and her ex to ensure they don’t get too close to one another. Some have speculated that the pair made eye contact in the moment, although sources close to the mother of one deny that it happened.

The defamation trial is on hiatus until May 16th due to a prior obligation of the judge. When it resumes, Heard will take the stand once again as she resumes questioning from her attorney, Elaine Bredehoft, before being cross-examined.

During her week off, the 36-year-old will be unable to consult with any of her attorneys. TMZ has been told that she’ll be using the time to catch up on rest and hang out with her family, including her sister who has been staying with her for the duration of the trial.

Closing arguments are scheduled for May 27th, which will then be followed by the jury’s deliberation. As his ex-wife has been on the stand, Depp has been filmed snacking on gummy candy, doodling, and even seemingly snickering at her testimony.

“Mr. Depp’s behaviour in this trial has been as pitiful as it was in their marriage,” a spokesperson for Heard has said. On the other hand, the father of two’s legal team has dubbed the actress’s time in court as “the performance of her life.”

During testimony, the Texas-born entertainer claimed that her ex performed a cavity search on her while looking for his drugs – read more about that here, and tap back in with HNHH later for more pop culture news updates.

6ix9ine’s Daughter & Baby Mother Involved In Car Crash

6ix9ine is widely known for his social media antics. From challenging rappers to fight to insulting celebs in the industry, the New York native knows how to stay relevant. But now, he’s got more serious things to worry about.

According to TMZ, his daughter, Saraiyah, and her mother, Sara Molina, were involved in a car collision this past Easter which resulted in them going to the emergency room with injuries.

Sources told the media outlet that Saraiyah, Sara, and Sara’s sister, rode in an Uber minivan on an NYC highway. It is said that the Uber driver got cut off and then rear-ended. A source told the media channel that the child was frightened and wailing after the incident took place.

After being taken to the hospital, it was revealed that Sara’s sister suffered whiplash and Saraiyah had arm agony. Sara, who has had a continued fight with multiple sclerosis, garnered whiplash as well as a concussion.

6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, told TMZ, that he had no idea they were involved in a car crash. For the longest time, the two co-parents have not had a good relationship.

Back in 2019, Sara claimed that the now 25-year-old rapper beat her in front of their child. Months later, the “FeFe” artist came forward and admitted to the allegations.

Given all the drama they’ve been through, 6ix9ine told the outlet that he is going to reach out to his child’s grandmother to “clear things up” involving their car accident.
