YK Osiris Shoots Down Barber’s Claim About Not Paying For Haircut

YK Osiris says that the barber who claims that he didn’t pay for a $100 haircut is lying for attention. He responded to the viral allegation in a statement provided to XXL. “She got paid,” Osiris told the outlet. “She just want clout. Give her a lil clout lol.”

The hairstylist, who goes by @thalegendofficial on Instagram, leveled their claim in a post on Instagram. “I hate to have to come to the internet with this but I guess I got to,” they said in a video. “Y’all know I cut my first celebrity client, YK Osiris, last week. I charged him $150 for the cut, the cut went up, he paid me $200. He tipped me $50. No complaints but he had hit me up to come line him up last Tuesday.”

The barber is far from the first person to claim Osiris owes them money. Both Drake and Lil Baby, among others, have publicized viral complaints about the rapper not paying up. At the end of 2021, he promised he would be clearing all of his debts in the following year.

Steve Lacy Draws Andre 3000 Comparisons For New Hair Cut

Steve Lacy is still riding the wave from a major breakout last year. The California singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist is getting a lot more attention than he’s used to these days. That includes fans paying attention when he changed his hair. He shared a post of his new look to Instagram over the weekend. “why tf @fousheelive lay my hair..downnnn,” Lacy said in the caption. While there were many comparisons made in the comments, one was more common than any other. Most fans saw Lacy as emulating Andre 3000’s look in the music video for the classic Outkast hit “Hey Ya.”

After years as a beloved indie darling. Steve Lacy had a massive mainstream breakthrough last year. Most of that was due to the mega-hit “Bad Habit” which blew up on TikTok before going fully mainstream. Eventually the song became a number one hit on the Hot 100 and one of the biggest hit songs of last year. Lacy is yet to release any new material so far this year, but has been touring pretty extensively in support of his Gemini Rights album last year. He’s currently on tour as part of the Re:Set concert series with James Blake, Toro Y Moi, and Foushee.

Steve Lacy Shows Off New Hair

Steve Lacy’s big 2022 has led into a similarly big 2023. Back in April, he was among some other musical superstars on Time Magazine‘s list of the most influential people of 2023. He also took home his first ever Grammy this year. Gemini Rights took home the award for Best Progressive R&B album at this year’s awards. He also got to perform his breakout his “Bad Habits” during the ceremony.

Last year, Lacy took his newfound success to the Saturday Night Live stage. He performed his songs “Bad Habit” and “Helmet” for the crowd of the long-running late-night show. It was one of a number of late-night performances he did to promote the track in the wake of its surprise success. What do you think of Steve Lacy’s new haircut? Jalen Rose Reveals How Much Men Should Spend On A Haircut

If you have ever watched Jalen Rose on TV, you know that he always has an amazing haircut. His hairline has been praised for years, and it feels as though he is getting a new haircut every single day. Overall, Rose has been very forthcoming about his hair regimens. He is someone who always has his barber on call, and he is always ready to shell out a few bucks to keep his hair looking crisp. Although, it makes sense that he would do this when you consider he is on television for ESPN pretty well every single day.

For many, going to the barber can be an anxiety-inducing experience. For instance, there is an expectation that you will have to engage in small talk. If you are socially anxious, this is a no-fly zone. Moreover, there is the risk that the barber goes his own way and gives you something you didn’t ask for. Finally, there is always the chance you just get a wack haircut that you want to cover up with a baseball cap.

Jalen Rose Tells All

Rose is someone who knows these feelings all too well, and recently, he came through with some advice for people looking to have a good experience at the barbershop. However, if you are someone on a budget, then this advice probably won’t work out too well for you. “The minimum you’re supposed to be spending for a quality barber is $100…So many guys & people out there think y’all gon’ show up & get a fly haircut for $35,” Rose said. It’s interesting advice, however, not everyone is going to have that much to spend on their hair every month.

Either way, it is very easy to see how Rose has such immaculate hair. When you have the barber connects, things become easier. For the average person, the message is simple: get your money up. Until then, you will have to hope and pray that the barber you go to won’t mess you up. Or, you can just go bald and avoid the barber for the rest of your life. Let us know what you think of Rose’s advice, in the comments below.
