Eminem Mocks Drake And LeBron James’ Infamous “The Shop” Clip

Eminem channeled Drake and LeBron James during his appearance on Complex’s The Face-Off series, on Tuesday, to mock the infamous encounter between the two on HBO’s The Shop. Drake famously recalled texting the NBA legend about whether he had let him down, to which James remarked that he could never let him down. With his Face-Off appearance, Eminem went head to head with his alter ego, Slim Shady.

“Look man, did you text me after ‘awfully hot coffee pot’ or not?” Shady asks Eminem in the viral clip, referencing his 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards cypher. Fans have been sharing laughs about the joke on social media. “That Drake clip is still crazy to this day,” one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote. Another remarked: “LeBron is only two years older than Drake bro this clip is crazy.” The interview comes as the Detroit rapper continues to promote his latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)

Elsewhere in the interview, he goes head-to-head with Shady to discuss his relevancy. “Everything that people think of when they think of Eminem is f*cking yours truly. From the blonde hair to the middle finger to the f*cking jokes — all of it, me. And if we’re being honest, the music that you’ve been dropping since I bounced ain’t it. Look man, nobody gives a f**k about your lyrical miracles you’re scaring the hoes. People wanna be entertained,” Shady tells Eminem at one point. He retorts: “So you think it’s entertaining to just be a d*ckhead and piss people off? Every other week on TikTok, Gen Z discovers you on Monday and cancels me on Tuesday. When’s the last time you took a shot at someone who wasn’t a pop star, a non-rapping celebrity, [or] f*cking marginalized communities?”

Eminem Makes Fun Of His “Lyrical Miracle” Raps In Confrontation With Slim Shady

Eminem confronted his Slim Shady alter ego during a new interview for Complex’s The Face-Off series in promotion of his latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). In one viral moment from the video, Shady trolls Eminem for making “lyrical miracle” raps and not focusing on producing entertaining songs.

Em retorts: “So you think it’s entertaining to just be a d*ckhead and piss people off?”

Conor McGregor Confronts Mike Perry After Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship

Conor McGregor is prone to steal the show at any combat sports event he attends, even if he’s not the one fighting. Moreover, that’s exactly what happened Saturday night (April 29) at the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, where Mike Perry fought against Luke Rockhold. After the latter got his teeth busted up and removed himself from the fight, Perry emerged victorious, but found another opponent instead. Furthermore, McGregor joined him on stage and they had a fake face-off during which the MMA star grabbed Perry’s BKFC belt. All in all, it seemed to be just a stare-down for fun, although McGregor obviously had some words to share, as well.

Of course, Conor McGregor lightly challenged Perry to a fight of their own, remarking how all he did was walk in there and grab the belt. “Come get it, baby!” he exclaimed after their showdown. As one of the most prominent figures in the combat sports world (who is out on injury right now), his antics make for a crowd favorite. As the match went on, he drank from his whiskey and toasted the crowd to uproarious cheers and applause.

Still, that broken leg from his 2021 fight with Dustin Poirier was a scary moment that left him thinking he’d never fight again. However, that lore added to his image and status as a fighting superstar, which rose exponentially in the past several years. The next move to take a peek behind Conor McGregor’s curtain is a Netflix documentary on the Irish fighter. Specifically, the documentary will reportedly highlight his return to the UFC octagon against Michael Chandler and also touch on his career as a whole.

With that, fans of Notorious should be incredibly excited for some more action and excitement from McGregor. In fact, hype around him is so big that he even recently appeared on Fox News as a guest. Time will tell how his comeback will pan out for his health and record. Regardless, it will be a massive event in the community that’s bound to bring a lot of corners of pop culture and sports together.
