Erica Banks’s ‘Toot That’ Video With DreamDoll And BeatKing Is A Candy-Painted Cash Enterprise
Texas native Erica Banks certainly had some work to do to follow up the massive success of her breakout single “Buss It.” The viral track’s accompanying TikTok challenge made it and Banks a veritable household name practically overnight, so all eyes are watching for her next move. Fortunately, she and her mentor BeatKing have plenty more tricks up their sleeve.
The latest is a remix of “Toot That,” her Huey-sampling from last year’s self-titled mixtape. Produced by Sgt J, the original hijacks an interpolation of Huey’s 2007 hit “Pop, Lock & Drop It,” pairing it with the trademark slurred sounds of the Dallas native’s home state. The remix brings along New York rapper DreamDoll, who matches Banks’s boastful, uninhibited energy bar-for-bar, with a closing verse from the bass-voiced BeatKing.
Meanwhile, the video imagines the women as owner-operators of a “baddie consulting firm,” flashing an 800 number across the screen as they count cash with their carefully manicured claws and train their clients on treadmills with motivational chains.

DreamDoll Employs CJ’s ‘Whoopty’ Beat For A Quick-Witted Freestyle
In the past few weeks, Staten Island rapper CJ’s breakout hit “Whoopty” has become a favored backdrop for rappers looking for a beat to help them get their bars off. Tierra Whack employed the Bollywood sampling track for an impromptu session on social media, while Westside Boogie and Polo G both utilized the beat in more elaborately shot music videos. Now, just a few days after sharing the spotlight with CJ on his follow-up single “Lil Freak,” his fellow New Yorker DreamDoll takes the instrumental for a test drive, pairing her fist-swinging rhymes with a lyric video to help fans follow along.
Although DreamDoll has a versatile flow of her own, she borrows CJ’s sparse cadence from the hook and puts her own twist on it, crowing that “This sh*t a Disney movie / You hang with the rats, you f*ck with the ducks, and most of your n****s is goofy.” It isn’t the first rap to toy with puns based on the popular cartoon characters, but DreamDoll’s confidence carries the line and makes it work.
DreamDoll has similarly displayed her talent for witticisms on tracks with Hitmaka (the “Thot Box” remix featuring Chinese Kitty, Dreezy, and Young M.A) and Fivio Foreign (“Ah Ah Ah“).

CJ Turns Up By The Pool In His Sex Positive ‘Lil Freak’ Video Featuring DreamDoll
You really have to give CJ credit; the kid hit it big with “Whoopty” and he’s been running with the ball ever since. While releasing his NYC Remix with French Montana and Rowdy Rebel and a Latin Mix with Anuel AA and Ozuna, he’s also kept up a steady stream of videos from his debut EP Loyalty Over Royalty. Today, he released a deluxe edition of the project containing the above-mentioned songs, as well as two new tracks. One, “Lil Freak” featuring fellow New Yorker DreamDoll, got the video treatment as well, and hallelujah, CJ finally changed locations for this one.
Removing himself from the dreary warehouse location of the “Real One” and “Set” videos, CJ lands in sunny Miami, where his tendency to rock his shirts unbuttoned fits right in. Here, he’s surrounded by bikini-clad women poolside at a hotel, where he professes his appreciation for — ahem — sex-positive women as his video vixens twerk around him. DreamDoll pops up halfway through the video to spit a high-speed verse while showing off her own gluteal tactics (“backward in heels” continues to hold true in the rap world).
