Lola Brooke may be small, but she’s still a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. Now that her debut album, Dennis Daughter, has finally landed on DSPs, it’s more evident than ever that the femcee isn’t coming to play as her star continues to rise. The 12-track effort comes after singles like “Pit Stop” featuring French Montana and “You” with Bryson Tiller. Before that, Brooke also dropped off the “Don’t Play With It” remix in tandem with Latto and Yung Miami.

A new rapper looking to live up to that legacy is Lola Brooke, the pint-size punchline purveyor who broke out in 2021 with “Don’t Play With It” and is about to release her debut studio album, Dennis Daughter.

Since then, she’s received co-signs from industry vets like Lil Kim and contemporary hitmakers like A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, been highlighted by her hometown’s premier festival, Hot97 Summer Jam, played Coachella alongside Latto, and been featured as a member of the 2023 XXL Freshman Class. And all of that was before announcing the release of her debut album.

Earlier this fall, the Hood Hottest Princess expressed discomfort at the constant flow of NSFW videos and photos that are left under her posts about everyday topics. “Why me?” she asked them during an interview. We may never get answers, but on Sunday (October 22), Red found the perfect person to push her overly horny followers onto. After noticing an explicit confession posted on Lola Brooke’s profile this past weekend, she promptly directed them her way.

“Hi! My name is Lola and Twitter porn got me in a chokehold,” the 29-year-old wrote. When the “Pound Town” hitmaker saw the tweet yesterday afternoon, she quoted it on her page, adding, “Y’all go give ha a show real quick 😂.” As per Red’s orders, a few people did oblige in sharing their homemade content, or personal favourite watches with the black-haired beauty.

Lola Brooke Announced Her Project ‘Dennis Daughter’ With The Bass-Rattling ‘Pit Stop’ With French Montana

Lola Brooke and French Montana turn up at the “Pit Stop” in the pint-sized Brooklyn MC’s latest video. The titular spot is called “Lola’s Pit Stop” in the video, and while souped-up race cars burn rubber outside, inside, Lola, French, and friends party with some energetic strippers who show off some impressive pole skills. The track finds Lola Brooke goading a male addressee to spend big money at the strip club to prove he’s got it. Meanwhile, French’s verse contains the memorable missive, “Feelin’ like Jerry Jones, man, I hate you n****s.” Topical!

“Pit Stop” is the first official single from Brooke’s upcoming project Dennis Daughter, which is set for release on November 10. In addition to French Montana, the mixtape will feature Bryson Tiller, Coi Leray, Latto, Nija, and Yung Miami. A press release calls Dennis Daughter “a formal introduction of Lola’s origin story to the world” after her big break with the 2021 single “Don’t Play With It,” which went viral on TikTok in 2022, spawning a remix with Latto and Yung Miami of City Girls.

Since then, the diminutive but rugged New Yorker has collaborated with fellow petite-but-mighty rap icon Lil Kim, played Hot97’s Summer Jam, performed at Coachella alongside Latto, and appeared on XXL‘s 2023 Freshman Class cover. From the looks of things, she’s just getting started.
