DaBaby & DaniLeigh Drama Is Her Fault, Says His Baby Mama

DaBaby had no fault in his falling out with DaniLeigh, according to his baby mama. Moreover, Mariah Osbourne, also known as Meme, recently spoke to Tasha K on the subject of women sometimes being “the aggressor” in domestic situations, contrary to what feminist movements lead people to believe. Furthermore, Meme stated that Dani was the one to blame in the situation that led to the Charlotte rapper kicking her out soon after their child was born. “Anything that ever occurred happened because it was initiated by her,” Osbourne claimed.

Not only that, but she also hinted at more wrongdoing on Leigh’s part behind the scenes, as this was just one public instance. In addition, she said the Miami native played the victim and compared herself to Meme without reason. While this is certainly a complicated situation largely without public context, hearing a perspective from one of DaBaby’s close partners throws yet another skeptical wrench into the discourse. Fans were split on the situation, with many standing firmly with the “BOP” rapper while others blasted his continuation of the domestic dispute in the first place.

Furthermore, DaBaby most recently addressed the situation during an interview on Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning. However, he mostly focused on their daughter Velour. “My daughter is beautiful,” the rapper stated. “Full of love, full of joy, full of laughs. Full of smiles. It’s all good. All is well. That was a breath of fresh air for people on my end. I stand on certain morals and principles. If shawty would have been wise at the moment, she would have hollered at her brother.”

Meanwhile, DaniLeigh spoke to Angie Martinez back in May concerning their publicized break-up. “I wish it didn’t happen because I don’t want my baby to see that later on in life, but she’ll grow to be her own person and be able to take things in,” she expressed. “During that time, I definitely wasn’t his side piece, and he knows that too. It was very selfish, being that I just had our baby. I feel like I really did love him so much that I was just giving it all to him. DaniLeigh Accused Of Having B.Simone Removed From Wild N’ Out Episode Over DaBaby

DaniLeigh and DaBaby may just be co-parents these days, but the new mom is still protective over her ex. The tumultuous couple made headlines last year after getting into a fight on Instagram Live while 26-year old songstress was feeding their 3-month old daughter. A bowling alley brawl and a few doctor’s appointments later, co-parenting seems to be going well for them both. 

Despite their separation, the “Take It Easy” singer is still sensitive when it comes to her relationship with the North Carolina rapper. So much so that during a recent appearance on Wild N’ Out, she reportedly had B. Simone removed from the episode because of the comedienne’s public affinity for DaBaby. 

Back in 2020, Simone and Baby sparked dating rumors after she starred in his music video for “Find My Way.” Just one year prior, the Wild N’ Out star dressed as a bride and brought out a cut-out board picture of DaBaby to a Halloween party. While this all took place before DaniLeigh publicly began dating DaBaby, the singer still wasn’t fond of having B. Simone on set while filming the MTV show earlier this week. 

A source revealed that before filming began, Dani felt like something was going on between her daughter’ father and B. Simone, so she expressed those feelings to executive producers, who ultimately made the big decision. However, DaniLeigh laughed off the allegations, simply responding, “LOL [laughing emoji].” Shortly after, B. Simone’s Wild N’ Out cast members, including Jess Hilarious and Pretty Vee chimed in to defend the comedienne. “Weak sh** don’t give a f**,” Jess commented. Vee added, “No shade but this back & both is mad old. My sis @thebsimone is doing her THING.”

As for B. Simone, she liked the Hollywood Unlocked post that reported the story, leading fans to believe that the claims about DaniLeigh are in fact true. DaBaby has yet to comment on the incident.
