Two juveniles were charged in the shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl rally. The two are being held at the Jackson County Juvenile Detention Center “on gun-related and resisting arrest charges.”
According to ESPN, “additional charges are expected in the future as the investigation by the Kansas City Police Department continues.” Additional information is currently not available due to Juvenile court cases are kept confined due to state law.
Of the victims in the shooting was KKFI-FM radio DJ Lisa Lopez-Galvan, the host of “Taste of Tejano. In addition to being a popular DJ in the area, Lopez-Galvan was a mother and detailed as a vibrant, giving person.
Additionally, 22 people were injured, with half identified as children. Two people remained in critical condition on Friday.
