Ice Spice Lands Highest Charting Single With “Think U The Sh*t (Fart)”

Ice Spice’s latest single, “Think U The Sh*t (Fart),” has become her highest-charting song as a solo artist. The track reached No. 37 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the outlet’s latest update. Spice dropped off the viral track, last month, featuring the now-infamous bar, “Think you the sh*t, b*tch? You not even the fart.”

While it’s now her most successful solo venture, her biggest song overall remains “Karma,” featuring Taylor Swift. That song climbed as high as No. 2. Her “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2” collaboration with PinkPantheress also reached No. 3 while “Barbie World” with Nicki Minaj cracked the top 10 as well.

Despite the new song’s popularity, not everyone is a fan. Conservative media pundit Candace Owens recently spent a segment of her show complaining about its existence. “If you’re wondering whether or not it’s a good song, what do you think? It’s called ‘Think U The S**t (Fart),’” Owens said before playing a clip from the song. “Now I think we can all admit that we’ve fallen as a society. I mean, I wouldn’t say that was Mozart or Beethoven, but I’m not all of these mainstream media publications that routinely run to defend this kind of music similar to what they did with ‘WAP’ the most disgusting and filthiest lyrics I’ve ever read. They will then sit down and write an article trying to convince you that what you just heard was magical and they did this with this Ice Spice song.”

Erica Banks Says She “Hated” Her Breakout Single “Buss It” Before It Blew Up

Whether you love or hate her, it’s hard to deny that Erica Banks has made her mark on the world of female rap. The biggest tracks we’ve heard from her so far are “Buss It” and “Toot That” featuring DreamDoll and BeatKing, but the southern starlet has plenty more on the way for fans. The former release wound up going viral on TikTok, prompting bodacious beauties such as Yung Miami and Ice Spice to participate in a salacious video challenge showing off their silhouettes.

While she certainly has the track to thank for the success she’s achieved today, Banks admitted during a recent interview that she initially wasn’t a fan of her work. “It’s done a lot for me,” she told Gray Rizzy on SiriusXM’s Hip-Hop Nation. “It had to grow on me first because I didn’t like the record, so I wasn’t gonna put it out. I hated it.” Thankfully, the 24-year-old followed the advice of her team, who helped bring in a major W for Banks with her first Platinum-certified single.

Erica Banks Didn’t Love “Buss It”

Aside from that impressive accolade, “Buss It” also peaked at No. 47 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, earning Banks some bragging rights. “I listened to my team. I’m glad I did. And it has brought me to sitting right here with you today,” the rap diva acknowledged to Rizzy. “I’m three years in. I’m on my second single. I’m still doing amazing, at a fast pace and I’m just proud of myself, like very proud. So I’m just happy to be here for the most part.”

Music is obviously the main focus in her life, but fans of Erica Banks will also get to see her shine on season 11 of Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta, which premieres on MTV next month.
