Ten Pennsylvania teens from Middletown Area High School were charged with sexual assault after a hazing video surfaced online. According to TMZ, the phone footage shows football players assaulting three of their teammates during practice. Chelton Hunter, the school district’s superintendent, had sent a letter to parents concerning the situation on August 22nd.

“Cell phone video, taken by players, shows a group of students restraining two of their teammates and using a muscle therapy gun and another piece of athletic equipment to poke the buttock areas of the students who were on the ground,” he wrote. “The video shows players fully clothed. It did not appear that any student’s body was physically penetrated. The video is difficult to watch as this is a completely unacceptable, offensive, and highly inappropriate act.”

“To be clear, Middletown Area School District will not tolerate hazing, is committed to investigating all reported incidents of hazing, and is actively engaged in pursuing discipline for the students responsible for violating our policies in this case,” the superintendent continued. “… We are addressing this matter with the utmost sense of urgency to ensure that our school environment is free from behaviors that are meant to demean, humiliate or harm other students. Once all investigations are concluded, the District will be working to develop additional protocols and supports to promote a positive school climate and culture for all students.”

Authorities found that no adults were present at the scene, and that the assaults occurred over a 23-minute time span. In their investigations, the District Attorney’s office found three other cases of student-athlete assault during the year, one of which is believed to have taken place in a residence. Authorities also confirmed all six victims are between 14 and 16 years of age.

As a result of the video release, the team’s head coach resigned within days and the year’s football season was canceled. The DA states that two of the charged students, aged 17, were charged with multiple counts of criminal attempt to commit involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent assault, unlawful restraint, simple assault, and hazing. Two other defendants, aged between 16 and 17, were charged with simple assault, unlawful restraint, and hazing.

The case will be tried in juvenile court.

A$AP Rocky has a lot on his plate right now, from raising his first son with girlfriend Rihanna to dealing with the aftermath of his feud with A$AP Relli that led to him being hit with criminal charges recently. While all of that can certainly take a toll on a man, the New York-born recording artist isn’t letting the drama get him down – or keep him from treating himself to some seriously crazy custom jewelry from celebrity specialist Alex Moss.

As TMZ reports, the “Distorted Records” artist told Moss that he “wanted to go all out with a special project that would be revered as more than just a simple, run-of-the-mill jewelry piece.”

Flacko has worn the belt on more than one occasion since purchasing it, even flexing it on his Instagram feed back in the spring, worn with a black and yellow printed graphic tee, dark pants, and a Tamagotchi chain around his neck, among other stylish pieces used to accessorize his outfit.

Moss revealed that Rocky spent an astounding $322K on the flashy piece, which was created using VVS natural white diamonds, green diamonds, black diamonds, and natural rubies. In total it took the jeweller four months to complete the project.

It’s been noted that the buckle itself is made of solid 18K white gold, and according to Alex, “it was no easy task to make,” but he took care of business in his New York City shop.

“GRIM” is a familiar phrase for the Testing rapper, who performed his freestyle of the same name during Splash Festival earlier this year while promoting a clothing capsule he’s been working on.

Yesterday (September 23), DaBaby sent the internet into a frenzy. The 30-year-old released his album Baby on Baby 2, revealing details alleging his sexual relationship with Megan Thee Stallion.

In his song “Boogeyman,” the rapper stated, “You play with me that sh*t was childish/The day before she said that Tory Lanez shot her, I was f**kin on Megan Thee Stallion/Waited to say that sh*t on my next album/Hit it the day before too/But I kept it player, I ain’t say nothing ’bout it.” 

DaBaby, whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, also took shots at Megan’s boyfriend, Pardison Fontaine. “Had her pretty boy, boyfriend tweeting me, ready to die ’bout the b*tch like a coward.”

While social media users criticized the rapper’s song, a female artist claimed it was hers to begin with. Layla Hendryx, a Toronto-based artist and songwriter, told Rolling Stone that the record had a similar hook and the same title as one of her unreleased records.

“The whole flow for the hook is stolen from me… One, it was done so sheisty, and two, the fact that he used the song to basically diss another black woman while you’re stealing from another black woman is just wild to me,” she told the publication.

Hendryx claimed to be pursuing legal action against the artist, saying, “I do not want to write for DaBaby. I would’ve said no to begin with. Just let me have the choice with my own art.”

In the culture, few moments can stir up a conversation quite like a new rap interview. N.O.R.E. has proven to be a master at this with his Drink Champs podcast with DJ-EFN, resulting in fantastic interviews with the likes of Kanye West, Black Star, and Dave Chapelle that sometimes become cultural staples. Now, the hip-hop mogul has announced via Twitter that his next guest will be Baton Rouge rapper Boosie Badazz.

“Finally got to speak wit Boosie and it’s time for me to celebrate him his movie his book and his career !!! We got ya back !!!!” N.O.R.E. said in a tweet, which he followed with, “I promise u @Drinkchamps and @BOOSIEOFFICIAL interview going to go up up!!!! I can’t wait!!!!”

Boosie just released a memoir titled Cross The Tracks this week, which will undoubtedly take up much of the conversation. He was also making the Twitter rounds this week after offering Tiffany Haddish a job, who was accused of molestation and claimed she has “lost everything” as a result. It’s certainly not the first wild statement that he’s made waves on social media for, as on his most recent interview with Vlad TV, he spoke about how his publicized beef with Lil Nas X and his homophobic remarks have landed him in hot water.

According to Boosie, this was a major factor that contributed to his reality TV show being canceled, which has inspired him to pursue the film industry instead.

“We had a shot it, got some good pilots for it,” the MC expressed. “When we was getting ready to pitch it, that’s when the gay s**t was out about me and all that s**t was going on. You know, when I said about I hate gay people and s**t. You know what I’m talking about, mane.”

“They tried to turn me against the gay world,” he continued. “A lot of people was backing away. Personally, I didn’t like that. I felt like I was shunned away. I was like, ‘Fuck it. Fuck y’all. I don’t need this shit. Watch what I’m finna to make off this movie.’ Basically, that was it.”

While it will no doubt make for an entertaining watch, N.O.R.E.’s promise that the interview is “going to go up” is likely a reference to what happened on one of the more recent Drink Champs interviews with Black Star and Dave Chapelle. The episode was pushed back at the last minute in May due to the Robb Elementary School mass shooting, and put on hold again in August due to conversations with Chapelle and his team.

We haven’t heard much from Gunna directly as of late – aside from a few leaked photos and videos from calls with family members – but in a recent interview with VladTV, criminal journalist George Chidi spilled some tea on the latest updates in the ongoing YSL Gang Indictment case.

Yesterday (September 23), it was reported that the “Pushin’ P” hitmaker’s involvement with a nurse who allegedly tried to smuggle him drugs inside the jail and was arrested in the process is only “the tip of the iceberg” when it comes to corruption amongst Georgia’s correctional officers.

In another portion of the interview, Chidi spoke with Vlad specifically about the reason Gunna’s bond was denied twice. “In court, the District Attorney’s office argued that Gunna was somehow involved and they were deliberately vague, involved in two murders related to a crips gang in South Fulton called the Shady Park Crips,” he shared.

Chidi explained that, at this time, information remains sparse as the prosecution hasn’t released the discovery to the public. “I can’t figure out which murders they’re talking about, or how Gunna might be involved,” he admitted.

“I can’t find the agency that’s investigating that because it’s not the South Fulton police. They have categorically denied knowing anything about a connection between Gunna and their neighbourhood crip crew. It blindsided them as well.”

Chidi stated that, since he doesn’t have the discovery, it’s highly unlikely that Wunna’s crew does either. “I look at that like I’m wondering at what point is the prosecution just trying to make an argument because they’re making an argument. I don’t know what that is. I have asked and they have not explained it to me.”

In previous court hearings, prosecutors alleged, “He is a member of the Shady Park Crips out of South Fulton. He is under an investigation at this point in time by more than one law enforcement agency concerning at least two homicides committed by that gang during this time.”

At the time, attorney Steve Sadow insisted that his client didn’t participate in any “so-called Shady Park Crips matters.”

Post Malone is known for putting on high energy shows. A recent concert in St. Louis saw the “Congratulations” star take a nasty fall into a hole on stage. The tumble was so brutal that Malone had to end the show to seek medical attention. In a video from the concert, he apologized for having to cut the show short while promising fans in Missouri that he’ll make it up to them at a later date.

Following the fall, Post’s manager, Dre London, gave fans an update on the condition, sharing, “We did X-rays @ hospital after the show & they declared he had bruised his ribs! I truly don’t know any artist like him. Talking to him few hrs ago he was still saying Dre don’t go hard on em’ explaining more then saying the show must go on! let’s all keep him in our thoughts as we know he will wake up in pain.”

The 27-year old rapper was eager to perform again soon despite the painful collapse. He took the stage on Friday (September 24) during a concert and showed no signs of haven been injured.

So much so that Malone showed off his dance moves for the excited crowd. Days before making his to the stage, the “Circles” star explained to fans what actually went down the night of his nasty fall.

“Whenever we do the acoustic part of the show, the guitars are on the guitar stand and there’s this big-ass hole,” he shared in an Instagram post. “I go around there and I turn the corner and bust my ass. [It] winded me pretty good. Got me pretty good. We just got back from the hospital and everything’s good. Everything’s good. They gave me some pain meds and everything so we can keep kicking ass on the tour.”

Drake is living his bachelor lifestyle to the fullest. The Certified Lover Boy isn’t romantically linked to anyone (publicly) at the moment, but he’s been dropping cryptic hints in recent posts letting fans know that love — or the lack there of — is on his mind. Last week, he had fans guessing after posted a photo on Instagram with a caption explaining why he didn’t propose to a woman.

“If I ever proposed I know you woulda said no just so you could have one up on me while I’m down on one knee,” he wrote. A few days later, the Canadian star posted a message directed at any exes who want to “check up” on him while using the line “I know we don’t talk anymore since I got a man but I was just checking on you.”

On Friday (September 24), Drizzy shared a photo of himself leaning up against a mirror while rocking a cozy furry jacket, jeans and his new signature two braids with the caption, “You should slide through and get your back broke.” It didn’t take long for ladies to flood the comment section to take Champagne Papi up on his offer. One of the chart-topping rapper’s exes, Johnny Blaze, reacted with the heart eye emojis, writing “Wya @champagnepapi.” 

The post comes on the heels of the rapper allegedly unfollowing Ice Spice after linking up with her at a concert in Toronto. However, the “Munch” star says her time with Drake was nothing short of great. “Linking up with him was so cool. Like, he’s mad nice and respectful. We went to OVO Fest,” she shared.

Rolling Loud NYC 2022 had some of the hottest artists in the game for this year’s lineup. The three-day extravaganza hosted the likes of Future, Chief Keef, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert and more. Returning back to the birth place of hip hop, the international festival tapped New York natives A$AP Rocky and Nicki Minaj to headline this year’s show. Nicki’s presence at this year’s festival makes her the first female rapper to solo headline Rolling loud. She acknowledged the feat tweeting, “And doing it in my hometown is the on top. Love you guys!”

During Friday’s show (September 23) the “Super Freaky Girl” rapper became a trending topic as she had the crowd hype, performing many of her classic hits, including “Itty Bitty Piggy,” and “The Way Life Goes” with Lil Uzi Vert. She brought the Philly rapper on stage to perform their 2017 collaboration. 

G Herbo, Bia and Fivio Foreign also joined Nicki on stage to perform during her history making set. Aside from her epic performance, concertgoers gushed over Nicki’s long, black hair flowing down past her boots. Fan also loved that the Queen Barb closed her set with an a-cappella version of her 2010 hit “Moment 4 Life.”

One fan summed up the diamond rapper’s performance in a tweet, saying: Nicki Minaj headlining Rolling Loud in Queens, gracefully falling to her knees mid-stage. Black inches blowing in the wind, performing “Moment 4 Life” acapella as her final song, with the fans performing it back to her. Is such a strong and powerful image, and full circle moment.

Kanye West has mostly interacted with fans through social media posts over the past few months. Earlier this week, the fashion designer stepped in front of the camera for a rare interview on Good Morning America to open up about everything from his recent dispute with Gap to his relationship with ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Shortly after the interview, Ye’ became a trending topic after admitting that Sway in fact did have the answers in 2013 when they the radio host advised him to take his Yeezy brand into his own brands. 

“I will go ahead and say that Sway had the answer,” the DONDA rapper shared. On Friday night (September 23), he took the stage with Playboi Carti during the “Magnolia” rapper’s set at Rolling Loud NYC 2022. Fans were hype as the masked rappers performed their hit “Off The Grid” from Kanye’s tenth studio album. The lit set even had Playboi Carti jump into the mosh pit amidst a bunch of fans. 

The performance comes on the heels of the music festival removing three drill rappers from the lineup per the NYPD’s request. This isn’t the first time the New York police removed artists from the Rolling Loud bill for “public safety concerns.” In 2019, Casanova, Pop Smoke, Sheff G, Don Q, and 22Gz were taken off the lineup over alleged affiliations with “recent acts of violence citywide.” Before last year’s show, Fetty Wap was arrested and taken into custody by the FBI.

As for drill rappers 22Gz, Sha Ek and Ron Suno who were removed from this year’s NYC show, the NYPD has yet to provide a statement explaining why.
