Drake Seemingly Confirms Johanna Leia Relationship

Drake may have just confirmed his relationship with Johanna Leia. As he posted a bunch of alternate cover artworks for his new album Certified Lover Boy, Drake shared a photo taken by Luis Mora, where he stands with his hands in his pockets as a woman places her hands around his neck. The woman in the picture is seemingly Johanna Leia, as suggested by multiple blog sites.

Drake and Leia have been romantically linked for a few months. Leia is the mother of high school basketball star Amari Bailey, who plays alongside LeBron James’ son Bronny. A few weeks ago, they made headlines when Drake rented out an entire stadium just for a dinner date, putting on the flex of the decade. While he doesn’t tag Leia in the new photo, fans are beginning to react to the shot, theorizing that although only half her face is shown, this is Drizzy’s way of confirming their relationship.

In his dating history, Drake has rarely ever posted his significant others. Thus, it comes as a surprise that he’s decided to share a photo with his rumored girlfriend. However, he may be choosing to part ways with his admitted toxic masculinity, embracing his “lover boy” status with his partner.

Drake previously bought a new chain for Johanna Leia’s son, further convincing fans that they’re an item. Take a look at the photo below and let us know what you think.

On September 11th, 2001, Fabolous released his debut album Ghetto Fabolous to the world, a project that featured guest appearances from Nate Dogg, The Neptunes, Ja Rule, and more. The New York emcee took to Instagram to share footage of his reaction, along with a lengthy reflection on the milestone bash.

NLE Choppa Gets Leg Tattoo To Honor Nipsey Hussle

Since Los Angeles rapper and entrepreneur Nipsey Hussle’s untimely passing in March 2019, rappers and athletes including The Game, Dave East and J.R. Smith have gone out of their way to pay tribute during interviews, with song lyrics and most notably, with tattoos. Just over a week ago, Drake included a line honoring Nip on Certified Lover Boy‘s “7 AM on Bridle Path” rapping, “Or switch it to the one I call R.I.P. Nipsey ’cause I swear to God the bezel got sixty of them blue stones.” Now, Memphis rapper NLE Choppa has debuted a Hussle tribute of his own: a portrait of the late rapper tattooed on Choppa’s leg.

Choppa, who has been outspoken recently about DaBabyvaccinations in the NFL and his newfound love of herbs and crystals, has always been one to honor fallen members of the rap game. In June, following the passing of Dallas rapper and collaborator Lil Loaded, Choppa offered up a tribute on Twitter. And in an Instagram post last November, he included photos of he and King Von, Pop Smoke, Juice WRLD, along with a solo shot of Hussle.

Tribute tattoos are a part of hip-hop and Choppa, known for having tattoos all over his body, found space to turn that IG tribute into something more permanent and more special, fitting for someone like Nipsey Hussle who held and still holds legend status to this day.

Check out NLE Choppa’s portrait of Nipsey below and let us know what you think.

Drake Shares Alternate “Certified Lover Boy” Covers

The public has had divisive reactions to Drake’s new album Certified Lover Boy. Some fans are calling this one of Drake’s best albums ever, while others are hellbent on calling this long-awaited body of work “mid.” Regardless of what you think of the album, it’s selling better than any other project released this year, shattering the first-week sales record for this year by posting nearly double what Kanye West’s DONDA sold.

One of the things about CLB that has confused people the most is the Damien Hirst-designed artwork that Drake decided to use. As you’ve surely seen, the cover artwork for the album features a dozen pregnant women emojis, lined up in a way that social media influencers have mimicked for the last few weeks. Seemingly aware that a lot of people hated the album cover, Drake has posted some alternate art that his fans can use to replace the cover on their streaming platforms.

Posting a bunch of new covers on Instagram, Drake revealed new artwork by Luis Mora, Theo Skudra, Milo Manara, and others, including an alternate sketch by Damien Hirst. One of the unused covers shows Drake being embraced by a model, while another shows him in a NOCTA football jersey with a rose in his mouth. Others feature the original ribbon sketch for the CLB logo, and more.

Drake’s fans are suggesting that the world-renowned rapper should launch a new NFT collection for the alternate artwork, selling them as limited-edition pieces and banking millions on them. What do you think? Would that be a good idea?

Check out all the alternate designs below and let us know your favorite.
