Gunna seems to be readying his comeback, although it’s not necessarily welcomed by everyone. The Atlanta star’s decision to cop an Alford plea sparked a dialogue surrounding what is considered cooperating with law enforcement. Legal experts have stated that Gunna’s plea deal didn’t incriminate any of the other defendants in the YSL RICO trial. Meanwhile, many of his rap peers don’t agree with the assessment. As a result, Gunna has been shunned by many rappers, including Bobby Shmurda, Boosie and more.
In recent weeks, there have been a number of updates surrounding Gunna. Songs snippets have surfaced where he seemingly addresses everything from those who’ve accused him of snitching to his standings with YSL. However, he finally made his first public appearance over the weekend when he was spotted courtside at the Heat-Celtics game. It was a shock to many, especially since he’s seemingly undergone drastic physical changes since he came home from jail.

Bobby Shmurda Reacts
Bobby Shmurda hasn’t been the most forgiving when it comes to Gunna’s decision to cop an Alford Plea. Most recently, he appeared on The Danza Project podcast where he seemed shocked about Gunna’s first public appearance at the playoff game. “Gunna was out there? While Thugger’s in jail? I’mma mind my business… Gunna, I’m minding my business. You know what? I don’t even want to talk about other rappers,” he said. Ultimately, it seems as though Bobby feels just as let down by other rappers in the game for not upholding the code. “We don’t want to be associated with you f**kin’ rappers. Okay, you guys are just f**kin’ talkin’ a lot,” he continued. “
“These rappers all do the same sh*t. They be cappin’, they be lyin’. And this a new rule: before we talk to rappers, we want to see these n***as childhood,” he said. Bobby suggested that fans should know whether a rapper began getting involved in street activities at a young age or if it’s only a persona for rap. “You got these kids following you guys and when these kids are following you guys and you’re rapping [like] you’re about this lifestyle, it’s very dangerous to the communities that these little kids think is going on,” Bobby said.
