“Shang-Chi & The Legend Of The Ten Rings” Leak Reveals Plot Details & Costumes

Shang-Chi & The Legend Of The Ten Rings will be the first predominantly Asia film in the MCU. It will introduce the titular character to audiences, and hopefully, we’ll get the MCU’s first dope kung-fu flick. Simu Liu plays Shang Chi, but not much else has been revealed. We know that the film will touch down on September 3rd, and will be the second of four MCU films dropping this year (Black Widow, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Eternals are the other three).

Although there hasn’t been much on Shang-Chi, a toy leak just changed all that by giving fans their first glimpse at the hero. The leak shows the back of four action figure boxes: Shang Chi, Death Dealer, Wenwu, and Xialing. Wenwu is confirmed as Shang Chi’s father and also the leader of the villainous Ten Rings organization. Xialing is revealed to be Shang Chi’s sister, while Death Dealer is obviously a bad guy. The toy boxes also give us the first look at the costumes for the film.

It will be interesting to see how Shang Chi plays into the bigger picture, and we know that Mandarin (who was a dupe villain in Iron Man 3), will also get a real origin here.

Cam’ron Announces New Project “Camdemic” For The Summer

Just before the pandemic hit, Cam’ron released Purple Haze 2. Thankfully, he was able to hit the road and tour off of the project for a few months and wrapped up the series of dates just as the world began to lockdown. However, the rapper’s output over the past year has been minimal.

Though there’s no update on The Program 2, it seems that Cam’s been cooking up throughout the past year. The rapper revealed that he will be unleashing a brand new album this summer called Camdemic, just in time for Independence Day. The rapper hit the ‘Gram where he previewed some new heat off of the project featuring production from The Heatmakerz. “Me and @sugadugga1988 making that before the month is up, another 50k n***a before the sun come up, a spare $8500 to fix ya mother butt,” Cam wrote in the caption of the post, pulling lyrics from the upcoming record. “#Camdemic July 4,” he added. Kevin Durant hit the comment section with a series of fire emojis so clearly, he’s amped.

Perhaps, we could’ve expected that an album rollout was on the way since he recently made an appearance on Drink Champs with N.O.R.E and DJ EFN. The rapper detailed his beginnings in rap, his time with Roc-A-Fella, and the saga with his condo neighbor that nearly ended with a restraining order.

Lena Waithe Hit With Backlash Over Graphic Racist Violence In “Them”

Although Lena Waithe is only credited with producing the final two episodes of the show Them, the internet has come for her head. The series gets very graphic, with one episode featuring a brutal murder and sexual assault and another episode featuring two Black people get their eyes gouged out. Waithe produced the latter of the two episodes in question, which were highlighted in a Los Angeles Times review.

The internet took pieces of that review and retweeted it with shots taken at Waithe. The writer, who is known for Master of None, The Chiand Queen & Slim, may not have been involved in the series push for extreme violence, but fans have come for her no less. “To be clear this is peak Lena Waithe,” wrote one angry user. “She seems incapable of being attached to projects about Black people without reveling in Black pain–especially when she is in charge. Play on the name, use one of the same actresses but expressly torture Black bodies.” Waithe has infamously claimed that other big names hurt the black community, so to see her caught up in this drama is strange. However, it isn’t the first time she’s been called out for creating what many called “trauma porn/”

“Everyone called Them a Jordan Peele knockoff, but it’s WORSE than that, because Jordan Peele makes horror and Lena Waithe makes trauma porn,” wrote another user, referencing the Peele knockoff jokes that Them has endured because of the title. How do you feel about Them?

Nike Air Max 97 Receives Unofficial “USA” Colorway: Photos

Back in 2017, the Nike Air Max 97 saw a massive resurgence thanks to the “Silver Bullet” retros that released to celebrate the shoe’s 20th anniversary. When this sneaker came out, everyone remembered why they loved the Air Max 97 in the first place, and since that time, Nike has delivered a plethora of new offerings to the market. With the summer on the horizon, even more models are being teased, and today, we have yet another colorway to show you.

This model gives off some serious Team USA vibes and it’s fairly obvious when you look at the official photos below. The upper of the shoe is mostly white, although there is a strip of navy blue leather that makes its way around the silhouette. From there, the Nike swoosh found at different points throughout the upper is red, all while some light blue is added into the mix. It’s a great summer colorway and will make for some fun outfits.

A release date has not been announced for these although you can expect them to drop soon for $170 USD. In the meantime, let us know what you think, in the comments below.

Jeezy Slams Cop That Pulled Over Army Lieutenant At Gunpoint: “Only In America”

The world was left shocked after watching Lieutenant Caron Nazario get pulled over by police in the now viral video. The police pull over Lieutenant Caron Nazario with their guns drawn, barking orders for him to leave his car. Lieutenant Nazario does not leave his car, however, he puts his hands outside his windows and asks the right questions. Still, the police pepper sprayed him and drop him to the ground when he finally leaves his car. It’s apparent that once the police realize he’s in the military, that they knew the messed up. Still, they continued with their harassment.

The police, fearing bad press and consequences from the military, allegedly threatened Lieutenant Nazario to stay quiet. Nice Try. Lieutenant Nazario is now suing the police. The viral video caught the attention of Jeezy, who posted a portion to his Instagram with a long caption. “What part of this is protecting and serving,” he begins. “After you went and fought for the country. It’s like they wanted to take his masculinity to feed egos!! Let’s see what the government do about this. I see no threat, only a man that was confused and understood protocol. He asked the right questions. They didn’t have any answers. Shits break my heart to see a grown man handled like animal. Only in America 💯”

Kid Cudi Reveals Floral Dress Is Part Of His Upcoming Off-White Collection

Kid Cudi received a polarizing response to his choice of clothing on Saturday Night Live. The Ohio rapper donned a t-shirt with Chris Farley’s face underneath a green cardigan that many believed to be a tribute to Kurt Cobain. It was indeed true, and Cudder took it a step further by rocking a floral dress similar to the one that Cobain wore on the cover of The Face Magazine.

If there’s one major takeaway from Kid Cudi’s music, it’s that you should be yourself and embrace every part of it, even if others think it’s weird. The rapper responded to the critics on Twitter where he confirmed that it served as a tribute to Kurt Cobain that was designed by Virgil Abloh. “Virgil designed the dress for me. I told him I wanted to show love to Kurt w a floral print sundress and this man made a masterpiece. Thank You @virgilabloh ur a fuckin genius!! Love you man we did it!!!” He tweeted.

The piece isn’t a one-off, either. The rapper confirmed that he had an upcoming collection with Off-White on the way with the floral dress serving as one of the pieces. “Im doin a collection w Off White and the dress will be included,” he added.

Check his tweets out below. Did you enjoy his performance on SNL? Sound off in the comments.

James Wiseman Could Miss Rest Of Season With Meniscus Tear

With the second overall pick in the 2020 draft, the Golden State Warriors took James Wiseman as it was clear the team needed some size. To start the season, Wiseman was phenomenal and while he showed some inconsistency down the stretch, he was still among some of the best rookie talents in the NBA. Warriors fans were getting a feel for what he could do on the court and his future was and still is something that supporters are looking forward to.

Unfortunately, things have taken a turn, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. Now, Wiseman will have to miss significant time with a torn meniscus in his right knee. In fact, the injury is severe enough that the team is preparing for him to miss the rest of the season.

Now, the Warriors will have Wiseman evaluated and from there, they will get a better sense of where his season will go. The Warriors have had injury problems all season long and are outside of the playoffs as a result. Needless to say, the past two years have not been kind to the former dynasty.

Stay tuned for more basketball news as we will be sure to share it with you.

The Brooklyn Nets Sign Alize Johnson To Multi-Year Deal: Report

The Brooklyn Nets are looking to get a championship this year. The team added Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant last year, although the latter sat out all season. This season, the Nets also grabbed James Harden, Blake Griffin, and LaMarcus Aldridge. The super team is nothing like anything we’ve seen in the NBA. The entire start five could potentially be made of All-Stars, which causes some issues for the competition in the East.

Brooklyn needed depth after several injuries. They signed forward Alize Johnson to a ten-day contract. Then, they added ten more days. His spark of play has now earned him a multi-year deal. Johnson recently agreed to a multiyear deal with the Nets which is worth up to $4.1 million, his agent George Langberg told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Johnson has averaged 7.8 points and 5.8 rebounds on 65.7 percent shooting in six appearances for the Nets. Prior to landing on the Nets, Johnson played with the Indiana Pacers over two seasons. Johnson earned roughly $100,000 on each of his 10-day deals, based on the NBA minimum salary for a player with his experience and the length of the 2020-21 season. The Nets just lost to the depleted Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday. The two teams are expected to meet in the Finals.
