Wiz Khalifa Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary Of “Rolling Papers”

It has officially been 10 years since Wiz Khalifa emerged with his major-label debut, Rolling Papers. Although it was his third album, Rolling Papers was a turning point in his career that turned the blog-era stoner into a mainstream act and pop culture icon. Sure, one might argue that it came at the cost of his music but he’s gone on to make some major accomplishments in his career.

To commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the album, the rapper released an official deluxe edition, along with an additional four songs including the “Black & Yellow” G-Mix and his anthem, “Taylor Gang,” along with an unreleased verse from Nipsey Hussle on “Hopes & Dreams.”

Lil Baby Struggles To Pick Up A Baby

Lil Baby is fresh off the tails of his powerful “The Bigger Picture” Grammys performance. While intending to make a poignant statement about social justice and police brutality, the rapper received pushback from a number of critics, citing his portrayal of Black trauma for the entertainment of a largely white audience and the Recording Academy. He later addressed the criticism and has since been working hard on new music for fans. Despite his moniker, it seemed like a certain baby wasn’t rocking with the Atlanta native.

In a recently shared TikTok, the Quality Control artist is depicted reaching out to hold an adorable little girl while at an event. The baby then turns away from the rapper, rejecting his attempt to embrace her. The other two associates of the rapper can be seen laughing as the baby refuses to let him hold her.

“The baby wasn’t rocking with Lil Baby,” penned the videographer over the video. While it seemed like the cute youngster in the video wasn’t feeling the My Turn artist, as a father of two himself, he’s likely considerably good around kids.

In terms of new music from the Grammy-nominated rapper, Lil Durk recently previewed a collab the two have together from their upcoming joint album. Additionally, Moneybagg Yo recently spoke to HNHH about the idea of a collaboration between the two of them.

“There was a conversation when we first made “All of a Sudden,” and then there was another conversation right before we made “You Played.” So it’s just in the talks. I just feel like everything is timing,” MoneyBagg Yo said.

Moneybagg Yo, Future & Rod Wave Dominate This Week’s “Fire Emoji” Playlist

As the good weather continues to pop out, it seems like we’re getting closer and closer to the summer releases unveiling themselves into the months to come. This week seems to have a few offerings that could define the summer of 2021. We’re back with our weekly Fire Emoji playlist with all the must-hear releases from this week. Here’s your breakdown.

Moneybagg Yo is preparing to unleash the follow-up to 2020’s Time Served. On Friday, he officially kicked the campaign off with the release of his latest single, “Hard For The Next” ft. Future. The rapper recently discussed the single for the latest HNHH digital cover which you can check out here.

Speaking of Future, he makes two appearances on this week’s Fire Emoji playlist. His show-stealing performance on 24k Goldn’s El Dorado’s cut, “Company” was also a necessary inclusion for this week’s playlist update.

We also received a new project from Rod Wave this week. Polo G serves as the sole collaborator on the project. It was only right that we include Rod Wave’s “Richer” ft. Polo G for this week’s playlist.

Of course, it wouldn’t be right if we didn’t include some new music off of Young Dolph and Key Glock’s Dum & Dummer 2. Key Glock’s “In GLOCK We Trust” is on heavy rotation on our end.

Check the latest Fire Emoji playlist below and subscribe to HNHH on Spotify for more playlists.

Bradley Beal Gives Incredible Speech To His AAU Team

Bradley Beal has been one of the best scorers in the league over the past couple of years and despite being disrespected by the NBA at times, he has made sure to remind people of just how good he is. This year, he made his first-ever All-Star team, and off the court, he continues to help develop young players.

For example, Beal has his very own AAU team called Bradley Beal Elite, and they are based out of the midwest. In a new video posted by SLAM, Beal can be heard giving the team a motivational speech that speaks to the realities of what they would have to face in the NBA. Beal tells his players that if they want to get to the next level, they will have to go through him, and you can tell it gets his players riled up. You’ll want to run through a wall listening to this, and it seems like Beal might have a future in professional coaching once his career is over.

“If you got dreams of making it to the League, you gotta f****** guard me. And guess what? None of y’all MF can guard me,” Beal told his players.

AAU basketball is where stars are born and you never know what some of these players might accomplish in the future. If Beal’s speech only inspires just one player to be great, then he will have done his job successfully.

Chet Hanks Declared A ‘White Boy Summer’ Is Coming And Drew Lots Of Reaction Online

Chet Hanks has time and time again found himself dealing with some amount of backlash and controversy due to his social media antics. From his questionable use of patois to thirsting over Adele following her Jamaican flag bikini photo, the antics of Tom Hanks’ son seem to be never ending. In his latest example of this, Chet roped Jack Harlow and R&B singer Jon B when he declared that a “white boy summer” was in route. The announcement was delivered through a video Chet posted to his Instagram account.

“Ok guys, I just wanted to tap-in real quick,” he said to start things off. “I just got this feeling man that this summer is about to be a white boy summer. Take it how you want. I am not talking about [Donald] Trump or the NASCAR-type white.” He added, “I am talking about me, Jon B and Jack Harlow- type white summer. Let me know how you vibe with that. Get ready, cause I am.”

He doubled down on his comments in the video’s caption, writing, “Is it bout to be a #WhiteboySummer or am I trippin ???? Tag a REAL vanilla king #Respectfully.”

Naturally, the video caught the attention of many as some dismissed Chet comments and labeled them as outlandish while others laughed at how Jack Harlow and Jon B were dragged into his claims as they were minding their own business.

Yaya Mayweather Posts NBA Youngboy’s Son In “Free My Daddy” Onesie

It’s no secret that NBA Youngboy has had his fair share of legal troubles over the last few years. On Monday, however, he was arrested and put into federal custody after running from the authorities when his car was pulled over. The LAPD and federal authorities attempted to pull NBA Youngboy over due to an outstanding federal warrant, and he has remained in police custody since he was found shortly after running off.

NBA Youngboy faces two charges of possessing a firearm as a felon, which has him facing a maximum sentence of ten years in prison. Lawyers have said that it will be “hard [for NBA Youngboy] to avoid jail time” since he was a felon in possession of a firearm, ran from the police, and has had prior charges involving guns.

Yaya Mayweather, one of NBA Youngboy’s primary romantic partners, took to her Instagram story on Friday night to express her wishes for NBA Youngboy to be freed. The two share toddler Kentrell Jr., who is named after the rapper’s government name. In a Boomerang video, Yaya shows off Kentrell’s onesie, which reads, “Free my daddy,” alongside a picture of Youngboy. NBA Youngboy also has six other children with a few other women, so hopefully he can get out of jail soon and continue to be present in their lives.

Russell Wilson Says He Knew He Needed Ciara After Watching “Ride” Music Video

Back in 2010, Ciara unleashed the music video to the lead single of her fourth studio album Basic Instinct “Ride.” Accompanied by an equally sexy video to match the sensual song, the video has gone down in pop culture history for the controversy it stirred at the time of its release. Seattle Seahawks star and husband of the songstresses Russell Wilson recently recalled the sultry video, citing it as the first time he laid eyes on his future lover.

“My next song that I have is Sade ‘Ordinary Love,’ says the songstress in the clip from her Apple Music radio show Level Up Radio. Wilson appeared as a guest for the broadcast’s most recent episode as the two discussed songs related to their romance

In agreement, Wilson adds,, “Sade’s like my favorite. I got ‘Ride’ by Ciara.” He then addressed his wife, confessing, “Ciara, I remember you on that bull, I was like I’ma need to get some of that, that’s what I need, that’s what I need.”

“What, what the heck,” laughed Ciara at her Wilson’s confession. At the time of the music video’s release, BET allegedly banned the video on its signature countdown show 106 and Park due to its sexual content. It was also banned from all UK TV Channels. Despite this, the video sits at a healthy 200 million views on Youtube.

Addressing the backlash she faced over the visual, she explained, “My intention is always to do something as good as I can do it, to give my best effort and I always hope that it comes out the way that I envision it. You never necessarily think, ‘Oh, this is gonna get banned.”

As for Level Up Radio, Ciara aims to, “celebrate the definitive songs and sounds of modern R&B and share stories of her experience as an entrepreneur, mother, philanthropist, and an unstoppable entertainment force.”

Ciara and Russell Wilson also recently appeared on the cover of GQ’s lover’s edition.

Foogiano Threatens To Slap Trey Songz & His Security Over Renni Rucci

You could expect Trey Songz to live up to the R&B heartthrob persona he presented when he first entered the game. However, it does seem to get him in trouble from time to time with other women’s boyfriends. Last night, the rapper took to Instagram where he shared a thirst trap of Renni Rucci to his Instagram Story. Without a caption of explanation, Trey left room for assumptions and it seems that a few people, including Renni’s boyfriend, took it as the R&B singer shooting his shot.

Foogiano, who is currently locked up, wasn’t particularly pleased about Trey’s IG post. Though the rapper doesn’t have access to social media, his team seemingly shared two messages on his behalf. The first was a text post which reads, “Slap the shit out you when I get out @treysongz,” before signing off, “From The Mayor.”

A second video clip from Foogiano speaking from prison was also shared to his story and Foogiano expounded on these thoughts even further. “Trey, you a bitch. I’m gon’ slap the fuck out you when I catch you, boy. You better have a lot of security with you and I’ll slap the fuck out them, too, with yo old ass. Sangin ass n***a, you ain’t gon’ sing when I catch your bitch ass, boy,” he said.

New York Officials Have Agreed To Legalize Marijuana: Report

According to some updates from New York City officials and Governor Andrew Cuomo, the legalization of recreational marijuana is incredibly close to happening in New York. While the agreement is not official quite yet, Gov. Cuomo says he feels like they are “close” to finally legalizing cannabis. This would be a major move for New York as it would become the 16th state to fully legalize marijuana for recreational purposes.

If the law becomes official, adults 21 and older will be allowed to possess up to three ounces of cannabis for personal use. Growing marijuana would also be allowed for a period of time, noting, “Recreational smokers could even cultivate up to six plants each, or a dozen per household, but a big bummer in the agreement would make them wait to start growing their own until 18 months after the first dispensary opens.”

“This year we have to get it done, and getting it done by the time the budget is passed is essential,” said Gov. Andrew Cuomo. “Cannabis is not just social equity, it’s also revenue for the state… We’re close. Close three times before. If we were playing horseshoes, we would be in good shape. But this is not horseshoes. You either get it done and sign a bill, or you don’t.”
