Yungeen Ace Claims 6ix9ine Was “Scared As F*ck” At Trillerfest

Despite people trying to say that Tekashi 6ix9ine’s reputation has caused him to move cautiously in the streets, the New York rapper has repeatedly shared footage of himself roaming around without a care in the world. Most recently, 6ix9ine rocked the show at Trillerfest and performed in front of a crowd of 15,000 people, but it was his run-in with Yungeen Ace that became a tit-for-tat online.

During a Livestream, 6ix9ine boasted about his performance and added, “F*ck all that. Yungeen Ace was at my show yesterday,” he said. “F*ck all of the things that we talking about. Street rappers were at my show yesterday. If they want the static, I was there. He was at the show. He was backstage, he seen me, everything.”

Ace responded by writing on his Instagram Story, “Mannn dis n*gga So Cap bra [laughing emojis] wdf.” Now, he’s returned to add a few more thoughts about what he claims really happened. “That n*gga was scared as f*ck, man. Them n*ggas say he ain’t know me but you seen me in there,” Yungeen said with a laugh. “What the f*ck? N*gga be trippin’. These n*ggas be trippin’.”

He added, “When I seen this man, this n*gga was in a car. This n*gga rolled past. The only time I seen this guy. This n*gga was in there like this. Chains tucked. Seatbelt on.” Watch Yungeen Ace explain his side of the story below.

G Herbo Reportedly Faces New Charges For Lying To A Federal Agent In His Fraud Case

After being charged with identity fraud late last year, G Herbo has been hit with new charges related to that case. According to The Shade Room, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts filed additional charges against the rapper, born Herbert Wright III, for allegedly lying to a federal agent about his connection to one of the co-defendants in the case. Wright reportedly denied having a direct relationship with Antonio Strong, his friend and business associate. The FBI believes Wright and Strong have known each other since 2016 and maintained frequent contact since.

“Herbert Wright III, a/k/a ‘Herb,’ ‘Lil Herb,’ ‘G Herbo,’ and ‘Herbert Light,’ knowingly and willfully made the following materially false, fictitious and fraudulent statements and representations in a matter within the jurisdiction of the executive branch of the Government of the United States,” read federal documents The Shade Room obtained. “That is, during a voluntary interview with a special agent of the United States Secret Service and a special agent of the (FBI).”

Federal prosecutors also believe Wright gave Strong money and received “private jet charters, luxury accommodations, and exotic car rentals” in return. As a result, a motion to connect the new charges to the original fraud case was filed, which, according to Complex, he approved through a signed document. Herbo will return to court for the identity theft charges in August.

Benny The Butcher And The Late Chinx Are Winning ‘Overall’ In Their Animated New Video

Just five months after he dropped his last full-length effort, Burden Of Proof, Benny The Butcher returned to the music scene in February with a new EP, The Plugs I Met 2. Now there’s a new video for the latter’s track “Overall,” which features the late Chinx. This month marks six years since Chinx, born Lionel Du Fon Pickens, died from a gunshot wound. In order to incorporate the late rapper into the video, Benny opted for an animated effort.

The “Overall” video is the fourth that Benny’s released since he dropped The Plugs I Met 2. He first teamed up with 2 Chainz for their video for “Plug Talk,” which saw the two artists attending a “Hustler’s Anonymous” meeting. Next came one for “Survivor’s Remorse,” with Rick Hyde, and another for “When Tony Met Sosa.”

While The Plugs I Met 2 was a solid follow-up to its predecessor, it didn’t come without controversy. Fat Joe, who appeared on the track “Talkin’ Back,” faced criticism for anti-Asian remarks he made on the song. A short time later, he responded to the backlash in a tweet writing, “I did that verse a year ago when the news was calling it the wuhan virus before they called it COVID i support and love all my asian brothers and sisters never hate.”

Bill Gates Transfers $1.8B Worth Of Stocks To Estranged Wife Melinda

Another billion-dollar divorce has shaken up social media. For nearly a year, we’ve been hit with news about Dr. Dre and his estranged wife Nicole Young‘s scathing accusations in their high-profile divorce, but attention has been diverted with the reports of Bill and Melinda Gates’s split. The couple has been married for 27 years and decided that this is the time to dissolve their union.

Gates made a statement online that read, “Over the last 27 years, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives.”

“We continue to share a belief in that mission and will continue our work together at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in the next phase of our lives,” he added. “We ask for space and privacy for our family as we begin to navigate this new life.” It has been reported that Melinda will not be seeking spousal support in the divorce, and now TMZ has shared that Microsoft’s co-founder made a big-money move for his estranged wife.

The former couple is reportedly working out how to divide their properties and Gates is said to have transferred $1.8 billion worth of shares to Melinda on the day they announced their divorce. “Bill’s investment firm, Cascade Investment LLC, sent Melinda more than 14 million shares of Canadian National Railway Co. and more than 2.9 million shares of AutoNation Inc,” reports TMZ.

People were up in arms after learning that the Gates’ didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement, but it’s reported that prior to filing for divorce, the couple did sign off on a separation agreement. It seems that this divorce will be amicable.

Dennis Graham Calls Out VladTV For Allegedly “[Causing] Beefs Between Black” Artists

Rap beefs are nothing new in the industry. Some are real, some are constructed for clicks, some were born in the streets, others manufactured in the studio. One thing is for sure: they can either breed some great diss tracks or result in real-life tragedies. Days ago, Lil Baby sent out a tweet saying that beefs needs to stop happening over women, and that prompted a debate about the root causes of animosity between rappers. According to Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, his son is being pitted against Moneybagg Yo.

We recently reported on Moneybagg calling out Music Choice after they released a “fun fact” about the rapper’s government name—Demario Dewayne White Jr., it’s on Google—and Drake slid in his comments to playfully tease the Memphis artist.

After posting a series of crying laughing emojis, Drake added, “DD White Mayne.” It was all in jest and the post, as well as Drizzy’s comment, was reshared online by the thousands. VladTV posted an article about the exchange but it didn’t sit well with Drake’s father, Dennis Graham. He reposted a screenshot of Vlad’s post with a message.

“BLACK ENTERTAINERS BEWARE THESE PEOPLE AT VLAD ARE CONSTANTLY TRYING TO CAUSE A BEEF BETWEEN BLACK ENTERTAINERS,” wrote Graham. “BEWARE!!!!!!!!!” There were several people, including Jermaine Dupri, who “liked” the post. Check it out below and let us know your thoughts.

Kenny Mason Stands Tall In The Spotlight In His Video For ‘4ever’

Kenny Mason is one of today’s most versatile young rappers. The Atlanta native’s ability to shine over traditional hip-hop production, as well as create sounds that lean into the rock genre, make him a standout on today’s scene. He’s seeking a long-lasting legacy as an artist, which is something he discusses on “4ever,” a track from his recently released project Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut. Now there’s a new video for the song, which finds him standing under a spotlight while passionately sharing his hopes for the future with lines like, “I used to say if I’m the greatest for 10, I’m at peace / I think I want this sh*t forever right now.”

Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut is an extended edition of Mason’s debut album, Angelic Hoodrat, which he released back in April 2020. Unlike the standard edition, the reissue included a few guest names to stand beside him on the 12-track effort, including Denzel Curry, Freddie Gibbs, Angel White, and Ambar Lucid.

In a recent interview with Uproxx, Mason shared exactly what he hopes his legacy as an artist will be. “I want to connect to as many people as possible with my art and the true intention of my art and make things that last here beyond me,” he said. “When I’m gone, the things that I created are still inspiring people way after. I would like to make some stuff that in 1000 years, kids are still interested in.”

You can watch the “4ever” video above.

Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut is out now via RCA Records. Get it here.

Freddie Gibbs is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.
