The hype surrounding Clubhouse has dissipated, but the app is still thriving. There has been a considerable drop in conversations regarding the impact and influence of Clubhouse, however, celebrities and artists have continued to utilize the platform to host and participate in discussions. Oscar-nominated actor Lakeith Stanfield is one who has regularly made appearances in Clubhouse rooms, and according to TMZ, he’s facing a new set of accusations.

The outlet states that there was a chatroom titled “Did Min. Farrakhan Tarnish His Legacy by Being Antisemitic?” before its moderator closed it out. A second room called “Someone Ended the Room About Farrakhan” popped up, and the actor was reportedly listed as a moderator. Someone who was in the room reportedly said the conversation was “worse than things that I’ve read or heard about neo-Nazis saying.”

The Daily Beast reports that a Jewish woman did speak up and asked Stanfield why he chose not to address the hate speech, and he allegedly responded by saying that he didn’t want to confront the issue. “He told her, ‘This is probably an emotional kind of room for you, tensions are running high, and I understand this is a very heated room.’ Then he just kind of danced around it not really saying anything.”

The following day, Stanfield reportedly joined a room with a panel of Jewish moderators who spoke about the previous day’s encounter. The actor admitted that he didn’t do enough in curving the anti-Semitic conversation.

If the actor chooses to moderate a room in the future, he reportedly said he will pay “attention to what is actually being discussed and determine if that’s a discussion that you really want to get into,” further admitting that he isn’t that knowledgeable about “the origins of Judaism in Jewishness.”

For decades, Wendy Williams has used her platform to make shady remarks about celebrities. The famed talk show host began her career in radio and was known for her hot takes on pop culture, and it’s those verbal jabs helped her amass the success that she has acquired. Not many celebrities bite back against Williams because they choose to either ignore the rude remarks or use them to their advantage, often visiting Wendy’s show to plug their projects.

However, Erica Mena is no longer playing nice and has unleashed her frustrations against Williams. For years, Wendy has spoken about Erica’s past relationship with Bow Wow, her television appearances, and her marriage troubles with Safaree Samuels. After announcing that she’s expecting Baby No. 2, Williams added Mena to her “Hot Topics” and told the reality star that a baby won’t save a marriage. Mena wasn’t having it.

Earlier this week, Erica Mena tweeted, “At this point let’s link up so I can beat your ass. Your ex husband didn’t do a good enough job.” The tweet was highly criticized, but Mena returned to Twitter with an “I said what I said” response to her critics. “There was nothing more to really report on hot topics besides we are expecting another blessing,” Mena stated. “But as always this creature always wants to give advice on marriage, a subject she failed at.”

“She never attacks the men who actually are at fault. It’s always her going at women,” Mena continued. “Me being one any chance she gets. For years I stood quiet when it comes to this creatures nasty statements. This time I played her own game. I don’t regret or take back anything. No one is going to constantly disrespect me and put limits on how I disrespect back.“

We’re not sure how Chet Hanks’s “White Boy Summer” plans are panning out, but a fan claims he attempted to hustle her out of cash. Hanks has taken a bit of a break from his controversies, although he is still facing legal troubles. The son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson has developed an unlikely reputation after donning a Jamaican accent and declaring this year’s mid-months to be “White Boy Summer.” He called for his “vanilla kings” to come forward, but not everyone was joining the movement.

Then, news surfaced that Hanks was reportedly involved in a physical altercation with his ex-girlfriend. She filed a lawsuit against the celebrity spawn and alleged that she endured months of domestic violence at the hands of Hanks, but he returned the favor and began legal proceedings against her, as well. As those cases move forward, screenshots of an alleged DM between Hanks and a fan has gone viral, and it shows the wannabe rapper asking her for money.

The fan, reportedly named Lily, saw one of Hanks’s Instagram Stories and wrote to him saying, “I love you.” He replied, “Do you really,” and she said, “Yes” with a red heart emoji. Hours later, he responds, “You got some money for me baby?” Lily asks, “Whatchu need king” and Hanks wrote, “What’s the most you could give me right now baby? Be honest.”

After dropping a thinking face emoji Lily told him that for him, she could slide through $22. Hanks replied, “How about 200.” She wanted to know why he wanted that much money, and he told her it’s for his bills. He added that he would call her, as well, but she didn’t go for it. 

“Your dad is forrest gump,” Lil responded. “Love u tho king im in la if u ever want to do pushups on the beach.” No word on what Hanks thought of that. Swipe below to read through the awkward exchange.

The brawl at Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul’s press conference yesterday (May 6) has its consequences. The world witnessed the meltdown between Mayweather and Logan’s brother Jake Paul after the latter snatched Mayweather’s hat off of his head. The boxing icon and his entourage made sure Jake felt the heat and Paul walked away with a torn shirt and a black eye. 

The public quickly reposted stills, photos, and video clips from the incident that was obviously a move to intensify the hype surrounding Mayweather’s match against Logan. Jake went on to taunt Mayweather endlessly, even receiving a “gotcha hat” tattoo, but Logan delivered the news that his brother isn’t allowed to watch the bout go down next month at the stadium.

On Instagram, Logan shared a video of himself delivering the bad news to Jake. “They’re not letting you into the fight,” said Logan. “You’re literally banned from the Hard Rock Stadium on June 6.” Unfazed, Jake cooly replied, “Swipe up, I’ll buy the fight. I don’t care.” Some boxing fans have expressed disappointment in how Mayweather responded to the Paul brothers’ jeering, while others are looking forward to seeing how the boxing champion’s fight with Logan Paul will end.

Meanwhile, there still hasn’t been a confirmed date for Mayweather vs. Jake Paul, although it has been rumored that it will go down sometime this year.

Tragedy has struck the football community this week as Texas Longhorns linebacker Jake Ehlinger was found dead at the age of 20, on Thursday. Jake was the brother of Sam Ehlinger who used to be the quarterback for the Longhorns. Jake came to the team back in 2019 and while he didn’t play over the last two seasons, he was always dressed and ready to go alongside his teammates. Ehlinger passed away at the age of 20 and as it stands, no cause of death has been revealed.

Following the tragedy, Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian gave a statement on Ehlinger’s death and how it is a horrible tragedy. The coach also sent condolences to Ehlinger’s family.

“Words cannot express the depth of our sadness and the huge void we are feeling, but above all else, our hearts pour out to Sam, (mother) Jena, (sister) Morgen and the entire Ehlinger family,” Sarkisian said in a statement. “Jake was a tremendous person and was everything you could ask for in a student-athlete. Being a Longhorn meant everything to him, and he truly embodied all that it means to be one.”

This beef between Coi Leray and Rolling Ray continues even though the rapper has already made her peace. For weeks, social media star Rolling Ray has targeted Leray after she came out with her Pooh Shiesty-assisted single, “Big Purr.” Ray is known for his signature “purr” sound and phrase, and he felt as if the rapper was stealing from him without credit.

Leray made it clear that she didn’t take anything from anyone and didn’t want to engage in and online back and forth over the word “purr,” but Ray hasn’t let up. He made a song of his own with the same title and recently shared that he’s looking for Leray’s doppelgänger to be in his music video.

“Looking for somebody that looks like Cori Le Ray AKA Ecoli for Rolling Ray’s official video shoot for BIG PURRRR! Must rock the braids,” Rolling Ray shared on Instagram. “Light skin females strongly recommended [heart eyes emoji] Pay: $300.” Leray took to her Twitter account to once again address the ongoing controversy.

“This boy is obsessed [face palm emoji],” she wrote. “I would never talk about somebody’s disability. I wouldn’t even wish bad on my worst enemy. Let’s Us Pray [praying hands emoji][red heart emoji].” In another tweet, she added, “I feel bad more than being upset. You just have to let go and let GOD fr! Devil will try you!! Outsmart him !!!”

One of Kanye West’s best Adidas Yeezy shoes to date has to be the 500. This sneaker was revealed back in 2017 and it had its golden age in 2018. There were various great colorways that came out during that time and to this day, fans are always looking forward to new offerings, even if they are a bit rare. We should be getting a couple of new Yeezy 500s soon and later this year, Adidas is reportedly keeping the fun alive as they have plans to restock a well-known OG colorway.

According to the good folks over at Yeezy Mafia, this shoe just so happens to be the Yeezy 500 “Blush” which made its debut over three years ago in February of 2018. This shoe has a mostly soft beige upper that is covered in suede and mesh. All of these materials give the shoe a nice feel to it and if you’re a fan of chunky dad shoes, then this is most certainly a model that you can get behind.

A deleted photo by Serena Williams is still being discussed by social media users. Earlier this week, the tennis icon posed for a few photos she shared on Instagram, and people immediately targeted Williams’s look. Soon, she was hit with accusations of skin bleaching or applying makeup to make herself seem lighter, and the memes seemed unending. Without explanation or addressing the controversy, Serena deleted the photos, but Wack 100 took a moment to address his concerns regarding self-acceptance within the Black community.

“To each his own but I don’t wanna believe this – And if this picture is authentic I wanna say WE AS A RACE have to look at ourselves,” Wack 100 wrote.
