Aaron Rodgers Officially Traded To New York Jets

But that is no longer the case. On Monday afternoon, the trade for Rodgers was made official. According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Packers are bringing in a haul of draft picks for Rodgers’ services.

In the trade, the Packers are receiving, Pick No. 13, a 2023 2nd-rd pick (No. 42), a 6th-rd pick (No. 207), and a conditional 2024 2nd-rd pick that becomes a 1st if Rodgers plays 65 percent of the plays. While the Jets will receive Rodgers, pick No. 15, and a 2023 5th-rd pick. While the Packers got a lot of draft value. The Jets will still get a 1st round pick in this year’s draft. Many have assumed that draft capital was the main hold-up in the deal. However, many also felt the deal would get done no matter what.
