Lil Wayne Will Livestream Final “Welcome To Tha Carter” Tour Stop

If you didn’t get a chance to catch Lil Wayne on his “Welcome To Tha Carter” tour, at least you now have a chance to witness its greatness from the comfort of your home. Moreover, Weezy announced on Monday (May 1) that he and his team will livestream the trek’s final stop, which is in The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles on May 13. Furthermore, the stream will begin at 9 p.m. PDT (12 a.m. EDT) that night, followed by a rebroadcast at 8 p.m. AEST and 8 p.m. BST the next day. These would be 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. in eastern time, respectively.

Also on May 14, the show will be available to purchase on-demand starting at 5 p.m. EDT, and said availability ends at 5 p.m. EDT on May 16. In order to access these airings and recordings, fans will pay $15 for their livestream tickets, which are available here. Of course, for hardcore fans of the Young Money icon who couldn’t see him in person, this is a very exciting announcement. The final stop of the 28-date tour might bring more exceptional moments, like when Lil Wayne brought out Drake in Toronto.

Other highlights of the “Welcome To Tha Carter” tour, aside from Tunechi’s consistently amazing performances, involve his guests. For example, NLE Choppa gifted Lil Wayne a stunning custom chain at his Boston concert, which features four Mount Rushmore-like figures of the New Orleans native representing his different eras. In addition, Wayne and Cam’ron performed their collaboration “Touch It or Not” for the first time ever while he stopped at Harlem for his tour.

Unfortunately for some, the successful tour ran into some pitfalls along the way. Fans in Atlanta took to social media to vent after the 40-year-old had to cancel his show there. While neither he nor his team explained why beyond “unforeseen circumstances,” hopeful concert-goers expressed a mix of anger, disappointment, but also concern for his well-being and safety. Fortunately, since then, it seems like things have gone great, and will end even greater now. For more updates on this story and the latest news on Lil Wayne, log back into HNHH.
