Bradley Beal Addresses Future With Wizards

Bradley Beal has spent his entire eleven-year career with the Washington Wizards. However, it has also been no secret that the longtime Wizard has been frustrated with the franchise. Especially with the team missing the playoffs yet again this season. Beal spoke with the media in Washington about his future playing aspirations. The former Flordia Gator didn’t hide from the idea that he could be playing for another team. But his frustrations in Washington are his main concern.

“I don’t use [my no-trade clause] as like a trump card… I’m definitely frustrated. I’m also at peace with where I am and who we are and what we need to do to be better,” Beal answered to the media. Further, it seems the Washington star sounds like he wants things to work out in his current situation. In a time where leaving for greener pastures is the simple thing to do. Beal wants to create a competitive franchise with the organization that gave him his start. Not many in this era have shared that mindset.

Bradley Beal Wants To Build Winner In Washington

However, there are some superstars that share Beal’s sentiment. Damian Lillard has long been known as loyal to the Trail Blazers. However, his recent frustrations have been brought up with how Portland’s season ended. But if anyone is the poster child for homegrown talent, it’s Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis shut out the whispers that he couldn’t deliver a championship to Milwaukee. The Bucks are the blueprint of what can be done in what many deem an undesirable location.

Bradley Beal has every right to be frustrated. It has hard to be as talented as he is and not see your team in the playoffs. Trade talks have long been linked to Beal and the Wizards. But it would be an incredible moment for the pair if the franchise can build a winner. Do you believe the Wizards have the pieces to become a winner in the future?
