Ja Morant is currently in the news for all of the wrong reasons. As it stands, he has been suspended indefinitely for wielding a gun at a strip club. Moreover, he has been accused of threatening teenagers on multiple occasions. Overall, it is a fairly dangerous trend that has many of his fans worried about his future in the NBA. However, Morant has since taken accountability, and there is no doubt that he will work hard at rehabilitating his image. After all, big brands like Powerade have already put the kibosh on some of his advertisements. This is a big deal that could ultimately cost him money.
These days, it is fairly hard to find a positive story about Morant. Although, it seems as though he is finally catching a break. Recently, the New York Post obtained images from the strip club that Morant went to in Colorado. Below, you can see Morant receiving a lap dance, while dollar bills are spread all over the floor and furniture. Additionally, Morant received a glowing review from the owner of the establishment, who said “This kid, real young, was exceptionally respectful, and sweet and he did not drink, he’s marvelous.”

Unfortunately, these photos are a huge invasion of privacy and make the strip club itself look bad. You can’t be out here exposing your clientele, especially when they are high-profile people. As many fans exclaimed on Twitter, revealing these photos to the public could very well hurt their business. If you’re famous, why even risk going there and having your business flaunted all over social media? That said, it seems like Morant is getting some positive attention here, which isn’t so bad.
Overall, the Morant situation has been pretty hard to watch. He is an amazing player, and you hate to see a great player go down a dark road. However, the path to redemption is there, and we hope to see him succeed. The league is a lot more fun when he is playing. Let us know what you think of the situation, down below.
