New Judge in Wild YSL RICO Trial Already Gone After Revelation of Ex-Deputy’s Romantic Involvement with Young Thug’s Co-Defendant

This is just a reality show at this point. Okay, the new judge who JUST was assigned to preside over the YSL RICO case against Young Thug and a whole bunch of co-defendants in Fulton County (Atlanta) has already recused herself, meaning she steppes aside, per recent court documents.

Who is or was the new judge? Fulton County Superior Court Judge Shukura Ingram, and she filed an Order of Recusal on Wednesday morning.

Get this, Judge Ingram cited a courthouse deputy’s romantic involvement with one of the co-defendants, Christian Eppinger. And for this reason, she is out the picture. Ingram did not name the deputy, but other court documents identified her as Akeiba Stanley. This was confirmed according to FOX 5 Atlanta. And Stanley was arrested in June 2023. Fulton County is like ‘The Wire’ in real life.

One has to ask, is she relieved? Like who wants to preside over this mess? This trial is already the longest in Georgia’s history with no ending in sight.

With sincerity, and TBH professionalism, Judge Ingram expressed concern that this so-called relationship may create an “appearance of impropriety.”

She got that right.

Judge Ingram was only assigned to the wild case just two days prior, following the removal of Fulton County Superior Court Judge Glanville.

But now Ingram has officially requested that the case be reassigned to another lucky boss of the bench.

About that deputy …

Multiple media outlets report that the order revealed that the former deputy, who served in Judge Ingram’s courtroom for nearly six months, was arrested after investigators uncovered her relationship with Eppinger.

The relationship came to light after Fulton County deputies seized the laptop of Eppinger’s attorney, Eric Johnson, suspecting that Eppinger was using it to communicate with other YSL members outside of custody. Stanley was arrested for allegedly using a phone to communicate with Eppinger both inside and outside the courtroom, visiting him in his jail cell, and attempting to smuggle contraband into the jail.

Wild, crazy, INSANE.

So to uphold public confidence in the judiciary’s independence and impartiality, Judge Ingram recused herself from the case.

Who’s next up? We can’t wait to see who wins this lottery.
