Skip Bayless Goes At Kevin Durant After Saying He Ruined Basketball

Kevin Durant had a huge year with the Brooklyn Nets, however, it ended unceremoniously against the Boston Celtics. KD is one of those players who has no problems dishing it out on social media, and that is exactly what he did recently after Stephen A. Smith said Michael Jordan made the NBA worse. KD hated this take and took shots at Stephen A., Shannon Sharpe, and Skip Bayless.

“My theory is that guys like steve, skip and Shannon have changed the game for the worse,” Durant said. “Playas like Stephen and Michael can only push the game forward.

Skip has always been a huge KD supporter but the Nets star doesn’t share the love. Having said that, Skip felt it was necessary to go after KD on social media with a clap back. Bayless said that KD embarrassed all of the people who supported him and that moving forward, he should just have fun watching his former team play against the team that swept him.

“Hey, Kevin Durant, as an embarrassed longtime defender/supporter of yours, I just wish you’d had the same energy for the Celtics you do for your usual bashing of media critics. The Celtics made you (and me) look sorry. Enjoy watching the Finals,” Bayless retorted.

Needless to say, these two will not be becoming friends anytime soon. Bayless does make a good point though as KD continues to tweet while better teams get to play for a title.

QC CEO “P” Throws Annual Birthday Celebration With Lil Baby, Coi Leray, City Girls & More In Attendance

Pierre “P” Thomas, CEO of Quality Control Music, founded the record label alongside Kevin “Coach K” Lee in March 2013. From the beginning, the Atlanta natives emphasized that QC was focused on finding and developing smaller artists in the ATL area and creatively supporting their visions. Their success is evident as they currently house Migos, Lil Baby, and City Girls, among others.

Through his music industry hustle, Thomas has elevated to mogul status, and is now a bit of a celebrity in his own right. In that regard, he puts on an annual event to celebrate his birthday, and this year it definitely appeared to be a show-stopper with plenty of fellow ATL royalty coming out.

Thomas held his second annual “Black Ball” birthday celebration hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on Wednesday, June 1, a week ahead of his actual birthday. The black-tie event had guests in their most elegant suits and dresses. Attendees included Quality Control Music’s very own, Quavo, Takeoff, Lil Baby, and City Girls. Other stars in attendance included Young MA, Coi Leray, Moneybagg Yo, Ari Fletcher, Corey Gamble, Gucci Mane, Nardo Wick, Jayda Cheaves, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, Atlanta’s mayor Andre Dickens, 2 Chainz, and many more. The lavish night included performances from Keith Sweat, Kim “Kem” Owens, and more.

Ciara Teases New Single ‘J.U.M.P.’ with Twerk Video

Pump it up.

Ciara is giving fans a taste of her new single “J.U.M.P.” with a dance video. In the clip, which she shared on Instagram, the Sports Illustrated cover star pulls up to a gas station in a Ford Bronco with her girls and proceeds to throw a dance party while twerking to the new jam.

“I know what you want from me / If you wanna have fun with me / Wanna be on the winning team,” she sings while shaking her booty through the sunroof, wearing tie-dye shorts and a blue Kangol hat.

The Bronco symbolism was not lost as Ciara’s husband, Russell Wilson, was recently traded to the Denver Broncos by the Seattle Seahawks.

“Its time to pull up and make that thang J.U.M.P,” Ciara captioned her post, while her husband commented with flame emojis.

She recently shot an official video for “J.U.M.P.” with director Dave Meyers. The song is slated to appear on her upcoming album, her first in three years, which is done.

“I’m working on my album, I’m actually finished with my album, which I’m excited about,” she told The Associated Press.
