Patrick Mahomes & Brittany Matthews Announce They Are Expecting 2nd Child

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews are officially expecting their second child together, the couple announced on Instagram, Sunday.

“Round 2!” they captioned a photo of themselves and their daughter, 15-month-old Sterling Skye, holding up a sign which reads, “Big sister duties … coming soon.”

In another photo in the post, the family can be seen holding up an ultrasound picture.

Mahomes proposed to Matthews back in September 2020. The two had been dating since high school. They married on March 12, 2022, in Hawaii.

Back in February, Mahomes and Matthews celebrated Sterling’s first birthday with a post on Instagram.

“My Ster Girl is ONE! I can’t believe it,” Matthews wrote at the time. “YOU my sweet girl deserve the world!! Your Daddy & I love you more & more everyday, we can not wait to see where this life takes you & all the things you will conquer!”

“My [heart emoji] turns 1 today! Daddy loves you!” Mahomes added in a post of his own.

Mahomes is in the midst of an otherwise concerning offseason, as he recently lost his go-to wide receiver in Tyreek Hill, who joined the Miami Dolphins. In the coming season, he’ll have to prove he can carry his team without the assistance of one of the best pass-catchers in the NFL as the AFC grows even stronger.

D.L. Hughley Responds To Mo’Nique’s Recent Attack Over Headlining Disagreement

D.L. Hughley has responded to Mo’Nique’s recent rant directed at the comedian, in which she labeled him a “bitch n***a.” Mo’Nique had taken issue with Hughley headlining the event, claiming that it was determined in her contract that she would be the last one to perform at The Comedy Explosion in Detroit.

“That’s what the motherfucking contract says, Mo’Nique is to be the last motherfucking person on the Goddamn stage. She is the headliner. That’s what I signed the contract for,” Mo’Nique told the audience during her performance in a clip circulating on social media.

Hughley commented on the insults in a statement posted to Instagram, Sunday, calling back to all the other back and forths Mo’Nique has had throughout her career.

“All you have to do is check the order of names on the ticket stub from last night and you’ll see who’s confused,” D.L. stated. “Against my better judgment, over the objections of my team and 4 other occasions where I said NO, I decided to take a chance and work with Monique. Oprah was the problem, Tyler Perry was the problem, Charlamagne was the problem, Steve Harvey was the problem, Lee Daniels was the problem, Netflix was the problem… Now it’s MY turn. At some point it can’t be everyone else, IT’S YOU!! Lesson learned. I didn’t have anything personal against Monique… People paid a lot of money to laugh, not here about your contract. Apparently, the role you played in PRECIOUS turned out to be an autobiography. I wonder who’s next…”

Kayla Nicole Shoots Down Rumors She Dumped Travis Kelce Over Splitting Bills: “It’s Absurd”

Kayla Nicole says that she did not break up with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in response to him asking her to split the bill for restaurants, trips, and more. Nicole shot down the rumors in a tweet on Saturday.

“Not sure where y’all got this nonsense from, but it’s absurd and very false,” Nicole responded to a headline from Barstool about the rumor.

Barstool claims that they had spoken to a friend of Nicole’s who explained that “Travis is very cheap. In the beginning, he tried to make Kayla ‘prove’ that she wasn’t with him for the money . . . so she had to pay half of everything. Half of every date, every trip, everything.”

The report also states that Nicole has only received $100 from Kelce over the course of their relationship. Kelce signed a $57 million deal with the Chiefs in 2020, making him one of the highest-paid tight ends in the NFL, behind the San Francisco 49ers’ star George Kittle.

Nicole and Kelce first confirmed that they had begun dating back in May 2017. This isn’t the first time that Kelce has been accused of being cheap with his girlfriend during the course of their relationship

Back in 2021, fans came at the star pass-catcher when Nicole spoke about shopping at Zara.

“Me, my man and my $50 Zara outfit on a yacht in Tahoe sweetie,” Nicole wrote at the time. “Y’all concern is beneath me.”

McConaughey, who recently considered running for governor of the state of Texas, released a statement commenting on the shooting, last week.

“The true call to action now is for every American to take a longer and deeper look in the mirror, and ask ourselves, ‘What is it that we truly value? How do we repair the problem? What small sacrifices can we individually take today, to preserve a healthier and safer nation, state, and neighborhood tomorrow?’” he wrote in his post.

McConaughey continued: “We cannot exhale once again, make excuses, and accept these tragic realities as the status quo. As Americans, Texans, mothers and fathers, it’s time we re-evaluate, and renegotiate our wants from our needs. We have to rearrange our values and find a common ground above this devastating American reality that has tragically become our children’s issue.”

HBO & Mark Ruffalo Face Million Dollar Lawsuit Over “I Know This Much Is True” Fire

HBO and Mark Ruffalo are facing a lawsuit regarding a fire that took place in May 2019 in upstate New York, where the 2020 series, I Know This Much is True, was being filmed. The suit alleges that victims who lived near the car dealership which caught fire were subjected to dangerous toxins and carcinogens, as well as having suffered damage to their homes. The victims are seeking millions of dollars in damages.

The locals also claim that HBO failed to restore the area after the fire, allegedly leaving behind an “uncovered and unabated debris pile” and “toxin spill” of “wind-driven dust and gaseous dispersion.”

As for culpability, the lawsuit claims that HBO stored kerosene, heating oil, and additional flammable items at the filming location.

I Know This Much is True went on to air on HBO in 2020 and features Ruffalo starring in a double role as two twin brothers. Kathryn Hahn, Rosie O’Donnell, and Phillip Ettinger also appear in the show. In addition to acting in the show, Ruffalo also served as an executive producer.

Ruffalo is set to star in Bong Joon Ho’s next sci-fi film, alongside Toni Collette, Robert Pattinson, and Naomi Ackie. While details remain sparse about the project, it will be the renowned director’s first feature film since 2019’s Parasite.
