DaBaby Was Charged With Felony Battery For Punching A Man During A Music Video Shoot In 2021

DaBaby has been unable to stay out of legal trouble for an extended period of time. It was just a few months ago that officials announced that he was being investigated for assault with a deadly weapon after his bowling alley altercation with DaniLeigh’s brother. Prior to that, he was detained and questioned about a shooting that took place in Miami. These incidents join DaBaby’s controversial matters like making homophobic remarks during Rolling Loud, punching an artist on his own label, and more. Unfortunately for DaBaby, this displeasing streak of his just got extended.

A felony battery charge is something that DaBaby can now add to his list of things to deal with. The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office applied the charge following an incident that occurred during a music video shoot back in December. According to TMZ, a man named Gary Pagar allowed DaBaby to rent out a massive pad in Los Angeles and it was understood that no more than 12 people could be on the property at the time. Despite this, DaBaby had more than that amount there in order to shoot the video to “Play U Lay” with Stunna 4 Vegas and Jake Paul.

Pagar eventually became aware that DaBaby violated the terms of their agreement and reached out to the rapper and his team who assured him that the crew wouldn’t stay on the property for long. However, on December 2, Pagar decided to make a visit to the property where he discovered a crew of nearly 40 people. He attempted to talk to DaBaby, but that was thwarted when he was attacked by a member of the rapper’s crew, which was caught on camera. As if that wasn’t enough, DaBaby told the individual to back off all to allegedly sucker punch Pagar and knock his tooth out.

DaBaby was sued by Pagar for the incident and it’s unknown if that suit is still active now that charges have been applied.

Elon Musk Considering Ways To Monetize Twitter Following His Acquistion: Report

Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter was one of the most buzzworthy headlines to come out this month. Following his multi-billion dollar purchase, the world has been waiting to see what Musk has planned for the platform; according to a new report, more monetization is on the table.

Reuters has revealed that the South African entrepreneur is considering making money from tweets in a variety of ways, as well as slashing the salaries of executives, which could result in $3 million in savings.

It’s been said that Musk has thought about monetizing tweets specifically “that contain important information or go viral,” or having other sites pay a fee in order to be able to embed tweets on their page from verified accounts.

Overall, the Tesla head’s goal is to keep “moderation policies on the social media platform as free as possible.”

Frequent users of the app may already know about Twitter Blue, which Musk also hopes to make changes to, including decreasing the pricing from $2.99 per month, prohibiting ads, and allowing users to pay for their subscription with Dogecoin.

As Complex notes, the father of eight “secured $13 billion in loans and another $12.5 billion margin loan fixed to his Tesla stock” for his impressive purchase, paying for the balance in cash.

Though some have criticized him for taking over Twitter, the website’s former CEO, Jack Dorsey, made it clear that he believes Musk is the right man for the job.

“Elon is the singular solution I trust. I trust his mission to extend the light of consciousness,” he wrote recently – read what else Dorsey had to say about Elon Musk’s acquisition of his app here, and tap back in with HNHH later for more pop culture news updates.

Amanda Bynes Updates Fans After Claiming Her Fiancé Was Using Crack & Watching “Disturbing” Porn

Amanda Bynes has been free of her 9-year-long conservatorship for some time now, but that doesn’t mean that her life is without its stressors. As TMZ reports, the actress recently called 911 after getting into a heated argument with her fiancé, although she’s since clarified what went down between them now that they’ve had some time to cool off.

Early on the morning of Saturday, April 30th, Bynes shared a picture to her Instagram feed of her hand, seemingly placed on top of Michael’s – both of their rings visible. Previously, she had accused him of relapsing on crack and engaging in other “disturbing” behaviours, but now, the two appear to have reconciled and come to an understanding.

“To clarify: I said what I said about Paul relapsing because he did,” the 36-year-old wrote in her IG caption. “I don’t know when he got clean and because of the disturbing porn he was watching, I assumed he must be on drugs now.”

Bynes went on to call out her man for vandalizing his mother’s home two weeks ago, saying that his brother, Mark, called the police, “but Paul left before they got here.”

“When I saw the mom and son porn on Paul’s phone, I got upset and kicked him out,” the Hairspray star recalled. “When he left I was worried he would vandalize my home because he still had the keys. That’s why I called the police.”

Bynes then clarified that she “shouldn’t have said he’s currently using, because he’s been sober for two weeks,” adding that her man allegedly told her that “he searched milfs and the other content auto-filled the search engine.”

TMZ says that they’ve spoken to people close to the situation who have expressed concern for The Amanda Show actress, especially considering “Paul flies off the handle way too much.”

DC Young Fly Says Chris Tucker Wants Him To Play His Son On “Last Friday” Movie

For years there have been rumors that another installment of the Friday movie was in the works. However, there have been several hiccups in its actual production.

Key actors from the comedy films have passed like John Witherspoon, who played Ice Cube’s father, Tommy Lister Jr., known as his character Debo, and Anthony Johnson, who was Ezel. Their unfortunate deaths resulted in fans becoming hesitant about a new film. Many felt that the movie should remain an untouched classic.

Another reason the movie has been stalled is that Chris Tucker, who played the iconic Smokey, did not want to participate in any sequels. The reason being is because he claimed he didn’t “want to represent everyone smoking weed.” However, it seems that the 50-year-old actor has had a change of heart.

In an episode of Club Shay Shay, the podcast with Shannon Sharpe, comedian DC Young Fly spilled some news regarding the 27-year-old film. Sharpe, former NFL player, brought up the film by stating how nobody can portray the Smokey character like DC. The Wild ‘N Out star interrupted the host and stated, “I ain’t supposed to say this, but I’m gonna say it anyway because we’re getting old. I don’t care. Chris Tucker, out his mouth, told me– literally this year… He said, if I play his son, he’ll be in the movie.”

While this seems promising, there is one more obstacle to overcome in order for the film to come to the big screens. Last July, it was reported that Warner Bros. refused to surrender the rights to the movie to Ice Cube, claiming he was too distracted with other projects.

“Friday Mood,” the 46-year-old captioned a video clip shared to his feed on April 29th that finds him practically skipping down the stairs of his beautiful Atlanta home, a glass with a gold rim in one hand, and a very full bottle of liquor in the other.

For his outfit of the day, Ross threw a bucket hat on his head and pulled on a pair of shorts, but other than that, his flashy chain, and his Clarks shoes, he left himself exposed, living freely.

In his aforementioned stint on The Breakfast Club, Ross made waves when he asked Angela Yee if she’s “a squirter” while also claiming that no woman has ever faked an orgasm in the bedroom with him.

Asian Doll Put On Blast For Allegedly Sleeping With Quavo And Lil Meech

Asian Doll is known for many things. From her hardcore rapping skills, to her former relationship with deceased artist, King Von, and even her sense of fashion, there is always something to talk about when it comes to the Dallas native. Recently, though, she’s been in the media for her back and forth feuds.

Just this month, the 25-year-old has argued with numerous rappers. She and Katie Got Bandz exchanged words over the “Queen of Drill” title, and she came for Erica Banks over remarks she made about Nicki Minaj.

Now, she’s in the hot seat yet again– but this time, with a former friend. Jada Kingdom, a dancehall artist, used her platform to air out Asian’s private business. Using her Instagram story, Jada accused her of sleeping with multiple celebrities in the industry.

Posting for her two million followers to see, Jada wrote, “Quavo f*cked yu and sent yu off with NADA… Lil meech f*cked you and disappeared… don’t let me start talking who yu told me yu was f*cking while with von. girl yu a THOT.”

She went on to claim that their friendship was never truly valid. “Yu didn’t see me as a friend. Yu wanted a sidechick & a bodyguard whole time i was too busy being genuine to realize. I ignored everyone who tried to warn me and now look.”

It’s unclear what caused their fall out, but Jada alleged that the two haven’t seen eye to eye since Asian apparently, “switched like a p*ssy lil b*tch for clout.” The singer also stated that her ex-friend was a user who talked behind her back.
