Latto Believes Omeretta The Great “Said The Truth” In The Atlanta Debate

The debate regarding what is and is not Atlanta continues. Recently, Omeretta The Great caused a stir after she released her track “Sorry Not Sorry,” and on it, the rapper identified who is, and is not, truly from the ATL. The song seemed to be targeted toward those who claim Georgia’s capital as their hometown when they’re really from surrounding counties.

College Park is not Atlanta / Lithonia is not Atlanta / Clayco is not Atlanta / Decatur is not Atlanta / Gwinnett is not Atlanta / Roswell is not Atlanta / Forest park is not Atlanta / Lilburn is not Atlanta,” Omeretta declared.

This caused a flurry of Georgians to step forward with their takes and soon, T.I. weighed in with a map of the surrounding counties that are included in metro Atlanta. “Respectfully…. Only fools dispute facts. #ToWhomItMayConcern,” he wrote in the caption.

It looks as if Latto has a different opinion that she shared on TikTok. Over a video of herself she wrote, “Clay Co ishnot Alanna,” and in the comments, a fan wanted to know if Omeretta’s song was “really that big of a deal.” Latto wanted to make sure everyone knew she was just kidding and actually agreed with Omeretta’s song.

“It’s not a big deal lol,” Latto replied. “Clay Co is the south we not the city she said the truth tbh.” Don’t let T.I. see this. Check it out below.

Yella Beezy Challenges Artists Who Rap About Killing People To “Join The Service”

The lyrical content of Rap songs has long been debated, all the way to the White House. Fans and foes of Rap have squared off about explicit lyrics and violent content shared in songs, but most artists, and industry professionals, have brushed off the criticism, citing that it is all nothing more than artistic expression.

However, in recent years, there seems to have been an increase in real-life tragedies among rappers as news reports increase about artists being killed.

It isn’t difficult to come across brewing Rap beefs exploding on new singles as artists not only call out one another, but threaten others with violence. Yella Beezy issued a challenge to rappers that consistently speak about what they would do if they ran across their opps, but it isn’t expected that anyone will take him up on it.

“All That Killing Y’all doing over them beats…….GO JOIN THE SERVICE,” Beezy wrote on his Instagram Story. “Your calling is finally here …. YOU CAN FINALLY PROVE TO THE FANS U BOUT THEM LYRICS [shrug emoji][thinking emoji].” Beezy was, of course, referencing the conflict in Ukraine after Russian forces invaded its neighboring country in a wide-ranging military attack.

Recently, several radio DJs came forward to say that they would no longer play records where rappers named their enemies and called for violence. Check out Yella Beezy’s post below.

For the first, people shared that they believed this one is about her ex-husband, former NBA star Shannon Brown.

“I’ve cried enough , I’ve prayed enough, I’ve done enough, I’ve been enough to you! Did things no one would do! The problem wasn’t you hurting me ! It was me not seeing the best in me! My own value wasn’t clear to me ! It was the same lie repeatedly, you turned it all around on me! Told me to go be free , when you knew this was holding me!! But you will see , there will never be another ME[red heart emoji].”

Under the lyrics, Monica added that although fans have been begging her for a new album, she doesn’t believe they’re ready. She also shared more lyrics from the record and her fans speculate that this next track is about C-Murder, Master P’s brother who is currently incarcerated.

“They see you and see a thug
Yeah Yeah
I see you and see my love
Yeah Yeah
They all out here running scared
Yeah Yeah
But me I’m running to you with my fears
Yeah Yeah”

Monica also added, “I keep everything inside but not this time!! I’m sharing lyrics but to hear it all is completely different!!!” We can’t wait to hear what she’s cooking up. Check out her post below.

Megan Thee Stallion Shares Concerning Post Calling For Her To Be “Killed”

The week, after yet another court hearing regarding the assault case against Tory Lanez, Megan Thee Stallion found herself on the defense. The rapper went to verbal war with DJ Akademiks after sharing a false report about DNA evidence being introduced in court, causing journalists from the New York Post and Rolling Stone to step forward to refute his claims. However, Lanez tweeted that Akademiks wasn’t lying, and later, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office also issued a statement where it said there was more than enough evidence to support the charges against Lanez.

Amid the back and forth, the public weighed in heavily with their commentary about the July 2020 shooting involving the two artists.

It isn’t difficult to find scathing comments and posts about Megan online, but she took a moment to share a post she was tagged in from an Instagram account named “megantheestallionsbiggesthater.” The account posted, “Megan Needs To Be Shot And Killed [smiling tongue out enoji].”

Megan wrote over the post, “This is the type of sh*t I get online and see EVERY DAY.” Her fans have offered words of support while others have continued to fire off cruel remarks. Check it out below.

Tyga Talks Working With Doja Cat On “Freaky Deaky”: “She’s A True Artist”

For this week’s New Music Friday, Tyga and Doja Cat once again united, and this time, it was for their single, “Freaky Deaky.” The Pop-friendly, catchy tune arrived with a visual that proved that the two artists work well together, and in an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Tyga spoke about working with Doja and revealed that this track is the lead single to his forthcoming album.

“She’s a true artist. And I think we see that from her outfits, her lives, her TikToks, but that’s what makes her, her, and she’s a real true artist and that’s what I appreciate about her,” said Tyga. “Me and her, the first collab that we ever, it never came out, it was a long time ago before she really blew up. And then ‘Juicy’ was the first real collab that the world seen and I felt like the chemistry was so good there.” He added that working with Doja was just as easy as collaborating with Chris Brown and Lil Wayne.

“So, this is the first single from my album that I’m working on, and sometimes I look up and I’m like, ‘Damn, I got like eight singles,’ not intentionally, but just because I’ll hear certain beats or I’ll hear certain songs or have a idea and then I’ll just make that record, and then I’m compiling songs and I realize like, ‘Oh, maybe this would sound good cohesively with a album,'” said the rapper.

“I think from where I’m trying to take it, what the new album sounds like sonically, I feel like this was the right lead single. And with [Doja], she’s killing it right now. I’m about 80 percent done with the album,” Tyga added before giving a tentative timeline for the album’s release. “Hopefully… Probably sometime early summer, I’m thinking.”

“My Whole Brain Almost Fell Out” Shoplifting Suspect Sues Police After K-9 Ripped Off Her Scalp!

The second anniversary of the brutal police dog attack that left Talmika Bates lying on the ground with her scalp ripped open and her brain fully exposed on camera just passed about two weeks ago. But the emotional scars remain and understandably so.
The brutal attack of the police-trained German Shepherd was prefaced by allegations that Talmika Bates and her friends had attempted to burglarize an Ulta Beauty supply store in Brentwood, California. The violent occurrence came to a head after a wild police chase that resulted in an automobile accident.
Following the collision, Bates jumped out of the getaway car and ran from the police on foot. She managed to hide in the bushes where she remained for about 20 minutes before being spotted by a police dog named “Marco,” who then ripped her scalp open with several bites to the head. The then-24-year-old was apprehended but she was brutally injured in the process. Therefore, Talmika Bates is suing the police for excessive force. Her attorney also claims Bates has endured pain and trauma that money may not even fix.
“Talmika says she still has nightmares of the dog grinding and chewing on her head,” said Bates’ lawyer, Patrick Buelna. “She says that she felt like she was going to die that day and really did not believe she’d live to tell her story but is alive and thankful. She had to have her scalp surgically reattached to her head. She suffers severe depression and remains traumatized from the mauling.”
There is still no word on how much financial compensation Bate’s lawyers will seek in a lawsuit that could be a long and drawn-out process. So for now, the California native is just walking the road to recovery one day at a time.
“My whole brain almost fell out,” Bates said during a recent interview with KTVU Fox 2. “I’m supposed to be dead right now, not alive, and I’m just thankful.” Posted by JR

Wack 100 Checked By Pooh Shiesty’s Lawyer After He Claims The Rapper Snitched

Listeners can often find Wack 100 delivering commentary about Rap culture and his remarks often ignite a visceral response. Recently, Wack went viral after alleging that Pooh Shiesty, who is currently incarcerated and reportedly pleaded guilty to firearms charges, snitched to the authorities. This is a claim that could cause havoc for Shiesty behind bars as well as among his industry peers, and Shiesty’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, stepped in to shut down the rumors.

On his Instagram, Cohen shared a screenshot of links regarding Wack 100’s snitch allegations along with a lengthy caption to deny the claims.

“This is 100 percent fake news. @wack100 there is no paperwork that would say @poohshiesty said a word about anything on anything,” wrote Cohen. “In fact none of the 3 charged gave proffers on anything about anything having to do with other people. This is just a straight mistruth. They all took pleas to the same crime of 1 count of a possession of a weapon during a drug crime, none of them gave a proffer about anything, it was a straight plea, with all of them having the other 3 life felony counts dismissed.”

“But why bother with facts…just throw something out for clicks,” he added. Meanwhile, Pooh Shiesty’s mother allegedly had a few words for Wack 100, as well. Check it out below.
