The Game Says Kanye West Did More for Him Than Dr. Dre
The Game is back on his B.S.
The Compton rapper didn’t hold back when he paid a visit to N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s “Drink Champs” podcast. A trailer for the explosive interview has been released, which finds Game stirring up more controversy.
Wearing a black ski mask and sunglasses, Game gave props to Kanye West while taking shots at Dr. Dre, who put him on and signed him to Aftermath Records.
“It’s crazy that Ye did more for me in the last two weeks than Dre did for me my whole career,” said Game, who recently collaborated with Ye on “Eazy” and performed with him at his DONDA Experience in Miami last week.
Game previously denied reports that he was upset for not being included in Dr. Dre’s Super Bowl Halftime Show, which was produced by JAY-Z’s Roc Nation. “I ain’t had no conversation with nobody regarding Jay-Z & the Super Bowl he put together,” he said. “I don’t feel no way about not being included. It was a GREAT SHOW featuring iconic artists. It was a WIN for the culture.”
Elsewhere, Game revealed that he still feels some type of way about being kicked out of G-Unit. “I’m kicked out the group… Well, guess what, you don’t fu**ing kick me out the group. I’m the G in G-Unit. F**k you mean?” he said.
The full “Drink Champs” interview drops later this week. Watch a sneak peek below.

Usher Plays “In Da Club” During Son’s Birth, 50 Cent Reacts
Usher stopped by The Ellen Degeneres Show where he spoke about the birth of his fourth child, Sire. He said that during the birth, he he had a playlist with different music, including 50 Cent’s “In Da Club.”
“The first time, I was in charge of music but I did a terrible job,” Usher said. “But the second time, I came fully equipped. I had my Mophie. I had speakers. I had backup batteries. I had a whole playlist that I had worked on for about two weeks. It was crazy. It was great.”
Usher went on, saying that he felt like playing the song “was befitting of the moment. I felt like I wanted to have a little humor and also energy in the moment. There were many songs played throughout the entire process and I was really, really, really, calculated on how I curated that list ‘cause I did terrible the first time.”
50 Cent later reacted to Usher playing his song during his song’s birth on Instagram, referencing how both their sons names are Sire. “We have 2 Kings now, SIRE Jackson and SIRE Raymond. coolest shit ever!” he captioned the post.

YG Channels Usher with “YG Bucks”
Usher has started a trend, and YG is hip to it.
Last April, “Usher Bucks” hit the scene after many noticed pictures of the music legend’s face on $100 bills. Mr. Raymond made it rain in the strip club with his own money.
Many were not too happy about it. In an interview with Billboard, he further explained his reasoning for fake currency.
The idea behind Usher Bucks was really to promote the residency. And since then, there have been more conversations, thus proving roads lead to Las Vegas,” he said. “We’ve been working on the merchandise for the night, and that was the start of it.”
Now YG has stepped into the currency game. The “Bompton” rapper took to social media Sunday to put fans on notice that he’s taking a page out of Usher’s book.
“Somebody tag Usher. Tell em YG got the ‘YG bucks,’ coming to a strip club near you,” he said in the video.
After all, he recently released a new single with J. Cole and Moneybagg Yo entitled “Scared Money,” which played in the background during the video. One can assume that the prop is a promotional item for the song, similar to Usher.
