Brittany Renner Trolls PJ Washington After Fans Chant Her Name At Him During Game

Charlotte Hornets’ star PJ Washington will likely be hearing these chants for years to come following this year’s dramatic unfolding with social media personality Brittany Renner. The two broke up this summer after welcoming their first baby into the world as a couple and ever since then, they’ve been sending subliminal (and not-so-subliminal) messages to one another on social media. Fans have been trolling Washington during NBA games by chanting Renner’s name as he shoots free throws, attempting to distract him, and Renner finally had a response to that on Sunday night.

After subliminally tweeting Renner to “stop the cap” and posting a clown emoji to his page, Washington was met with “Brittany Renner” chants as he shot free throws against the Atlanta Hawks. The chant did not distract him as he sank the two freebies, but Renner made sure to comment about it on Twitter afterward.

“[laughing emojis] glad you made it though BD @PJWashington,” she wrote with a link to the video.

She also recently trolled her baby daddy by responding to his tweet about people living fake lives by agreeing, saying, “It’s crazy bruh.” After he tweeted a clown emoji, she replied with a meme of a clownfish saying, “Where’s my fuckin son.”

Clearly, we’ll be hearing about Brittany Renner and PJ Washington for a while. Do you think they’ll ever get back together or should they steer clear from one another?

Zion Williamson’s Weight Elicits Concern As New Photo Goes Viral

Zion Williamson was one of the most hyped-up prospects since LeBron James just a couple of years ago. Coming out of Duke, Zion was a menace on the court and in the end, the New Orleans Pelicans were lucky enough to draft him. Unfortunately for them, Zion has had to face numerous injury issues over the last few years, and his conditioning has also been a sore spot as his weight continues to fluctuate.

In fact, last night, Zion was spotted at a recent Pelicans game while wearing an all-red tracksuit. In a photo that went viral on social media, Williamson looked a lot heavier than usual, and as a result, fans immediately expressed their concern, while also making some jokes and memes in the process.

As we have reported before, Zion is coming back from a foot injury, and he has been cleared to participate in full practices. Despite this, his weight seems to be getting in the way of a potential comeback, and fans are starting to get annoyed with what seems to be a lack of discipline on his part.

In the tweets below, you can see many fans roasting the young Pelicans star, while some express concern that there is something a lot deeper going on here.

Let us know what you think of Zion’s issues, in the comments below.

DaBaby’s Las Vegas Battery Case Officially Dismissed: Report

Good news for DaBaby – the 29-year-old rapper’s misdemeanor battery charge from an alleged Las Vegas brawl has officially been dropped, as reported by TMZ

Online records reveal that case “was dismissed with prejudice,” meaning that it’s over and done, and cannot be refiled again in the future. The Clark County District Attorney’s Office informed the outlet that the charges were dismissed “because DaBaby satisfied everything prosecutors asked him to do in order to resolve the case,” which included the “VIBEZ” artist paying the alleged victim $7,500, and him “staying out of trouble.”

TMZ broke the story over a year ago, when a Vegas driver came forward with allegations claiming that the father of four “attacked him during a ride in November [of] 2020.” Following the accusations, DaBaby’s team responded, calling them a “money grab,” and his attorneys, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, revealed that he was fully “prepared to fight the case in court.”

Now that it’s in his rearview, the recording artist won’t have to worry about the charges stirring up any trouble again. However, we can’t say that the other situations Baby Jesus has gotten himself involved in as of late will go away as easily. In case you missed it, the Ohio-born star had a pretty public blowout with DaniLeigh, the mother of his youngest child, that’s been continuing to generate headlines for some time now.

After he allegedly tried to kick Dani out of their house, he referred to her as a “certified side bitch” on Instagram Live, then showed their baby’s face to the world for the first time under particularly malicious circumstances.

Rihanna Has New Music Coming ‘Soon, Soon, Soon’

Currently (and also for the past half-decade), Rihanna anxiously fans wait for the follow-up to her 2016 album Anti. Therefore, they eat up any sort of update about new music from Rihanna, no matter how minor it may be. Well, the latest Rihanna dispatch is certainly minor but is exciting regardless, as she suggested to a paparazzo recently that new music is quickly forthcoming.

In a video of the encounter, Rihanna emerges from a car and the person behind the camera asks her, “Any new music, anything?” The singer responded as she walked away, “Soon, soon, soon.”

In September, she said of her upcoming music, “You’re not going to expect what you hear. Just put that in your mind. Whatever you know of Rihanna is not going to be what you hear. I’m really experimenting. Music is like fashion: you should be able to play. I should be able to wear whatever I want, and I treat music the same way. So, I’m having fun and it’s going to be completely different. That’s it.”

Meanwhile, the last month has been full of honors for Rihanna. Last week, she was declared a “national hero” of Barbados, she found herself in the top 10 of Billboard‘s Greatest Of All-Time Hot 100 Artists chart, and Ed Sheeran noted that he always thinks about Rihanna when he’s making decisions in the studio.

Ed Sheeran is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

French Montana Talks About Alcohol & Watching His Peers Surpass Him

French Montana has been a staple of the rap game for nearly two decades.

From his earliest days releasing Cocaine City DVDs as Young French, to his handful of smash hits featuring the likes of Drake, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and some of the biggest rappers in the game, to his most recent album, They Got Amnesia, the Morocco native is an inerasable figure in hip hop and has been since 2002.

However, while the “Mac & Cheese” rapper has experienced some of hip hop’s highest highs, Montana has survived some of life’s most intense lows.

Landing in the ICU twice due to complications from alcohol and drug use, the 37-year-old’s health was compromised on multiple occasions, and in a recent appearance on Ebro Darden’s Rap Life Radio show, Montana spoke about the difficulties of watching his peers surpass him while dealt with real-life issues.

“It’s hard,” he told Ebro. “I’m going to celebrate, but right now, I just, I want to stay laser-sharp to focus on getting some things out the way. That is like certain time. What I realize about people that be affected by those kind of things, sometime the train pass you and you don’t even realize it.”

Along with the acknowledgement that alcohol caused him to miss a couple of opportunities, Montana said that a lot of artists and people in the music industry fake being drunk to keep up appearances.

“You chasing the high instead of chasing that train that you should be on. You know what I mean? I feel like I seen a lot of my peers that came from less fortunate places and accomplished so many things,” he said. “I feel like I could have been… I’ve been seeing a lot of my peers that just surpassed me and I’m like, ‘Yo, how they doing it?’ Yo, they act like they drinking with you… Like how Akon used to be with the Shirley Temple acting drunk. And I’d be like, ‘Yo, you don’t even drink.’ He’d like, ‘Man, I got to act drunk with these people.’ I’m like, ‘Yo, I got to learn from that.'”

Check out Montana’s full interview with Ebro below and let us know what you think down in the comments.

Enes Kanter Freedom Finds A New Target In Jeremy Lin

Enes Kanter Freedom has been going off as of late due to his distaste for the Chinese Communist Party. After speaking out against Erdogan in his native Turkey, Kanter began to face political persecution, and as a result, he has had to remain in the United States. Over the past few months, however, Kanter has shifted his focus to China as he looks to call out those who seemingly support the regime. As many already know, Kanter has been going after LeBron James, specifically.

Now, Kanter is shifting his attention to Jeremy Lin. Lin is of Chinese descent, however, he was born in California and has never shown support to the CCP, ever. Despite this, Kanter felt like going after an Asian player like Lin was a smart thing to do, and on Sunday, he issued some harsh words towards the former NBA star.

“Shame on you @JLin7,” Kanter said. “Haven’t you had enough of that Dirty Chinese Communist Party money feeding you to stay silent? How disgusting of you to turn your back against your country & your people. Stand with Taiwan! Stop bowing to money & the Dictatorship. Morals over Money brother.”

Kanter’s message was not received well at all, as some even called it racist. After all, going after the one Chinese player you know is pretty despicable, especially if Lin has nothing to do with the regime whatsoever. Sure, Lin played in the CBA, but that is far different than actually supporting the country’s government.

For Kanter, however, that doesn’t seem to matter as his tweets are giving him the engagement and clout he desires.

Quando Rondo Invades OTF Clubhouse Room, Trolls Doodie Lo

Over the course of the last twelve months, Chicago rap fans — and more specifically, fans of Lil Durk’s Only The Family (OTF) label — have been keeping a close eye on Georgia rapper Quando Rondo for his role in the fatal shooting of King Von. Quando and Von had an altercation in the parking lot of a hookah bar in November 2020, which led to shots being fired. Von lost his life, and Quando’s affiliate, Timothy Leeks, AKA Lul Tim, was charged with the shooting.

As OTF stans have wondered what would happen to Quando if the crew ever ran into him, many witnessed the infiltration firsthand as Quando invaded an OTF-dominant room on Clubhouse this weekend, trolling Doodie Lo and everybody listening.

The rapper was invited onto the panel as a speaker, which immediately put off some of the people on the stage. “Y’all some lame ass n***as,” one person could be heard saying before Quando spoke up.

“I ain’t lying, we rolling,” said Quando before Doodie Lo said that he was about to exit the group. “Man, what y’all boys talking ’bout!?” laughed Quando.

The troll move picked up attention on social media as fans have been commenting on the incident, including hip-hop commentator DJ Akademiks. What do you think about Quando Rondo invading the OTF Clubhouse room?

Lauren London Celebrates Her 37th Birthday: “May I Journey With Less Pain & More Peace”

On Sunday, December 5th, ATL actress Lauren London celebrated her 37th birthday, revealing to her followers that she hopes to “journey with less pain and more peace” this year. “Trip 37,” she captioned a series of selfies taken in moody red lighting. “Here’s to more life in real time.”

Thousands of comments wishing the mother of two well on her special day came pouring in, and London reposted countless kind messages from other industry figures. “Happiest birthday big sis,” Kehlani wrote over a picturesque photo of them and their friend. “Keep showing the world what real heart looks like. Everybody love you! @laurenlondon the most beautiful. Inside & out.”

Jada Pinkett Smith shared a sweet photo and video montage of the 37-year-old while author and podcaster Jay Shetty wrote, “Happy Birthday @laurenlondon. So grateful to have you in our lives! You bring so much warmth & joy to everyone every single week! We love you!”

Cassie, Yris Palmer, Yung Miami, Snoh Aalegra, Lala, Lori Harvey, Jackie Long, Malika, Diddy, and Karen Civil also dropped off touching tributes to the I Love You, Beth Cooper star.

@kehlani/Instagram

While she had a lot to thankful for yesterday, the past few years for London have been anything but easy. Back in March of 2019, her partner and the father of her youngest child, Nipsey Hussle, was fatally shot in Los Angeles, leaving her to raise her two children and figure out what life would look like without Nip on her own.

Recently, the late rapper’s other baby mama, Chyna Hussle, did a Q&A on Instagram, during which she shared that she’ll “always” love London, and would care for she and Nipsey’s son as if he were her own – read more about that here.

Ben Roethlisberger Speaks Out On Recent Retirement Reports

Ben Roethlisberger’s time with the Pittsburgh Steelers has spanned three decades at this point, and throughout his time with the team, he has made it to three Super Bowls while winning two of them. The Steelers’ success has a lot to do with Big Ben’s play, however, in recent years, he has fallen off of a cliff when it comes to his consistency.

The Steelers have simply not been consistent over the last few years, and while they sometimes show flashes of brilliance, it is clear that Roethlisberger is entering the final stages of his career. Yesterday, however, the Steelers put up a fine win against the Baltimore Ravens. After the game, Roethlisberger got to speak about some rumors that have been going around as of late, pertaining to whether or not he plans on retiring, anytime soon.

As you can see in the clip below posted by Brooke Pryor, Roethlisberger won’t confirm or deny anything right now. The way he phrased his response seemed pretty ambiguous, however, which certainly piqued the interest of all of the Steelers fans out there. Roethlisberger has been a staple of the team for many years, and his absence will definitely be felt.

This is a developing story that should progress into the offseason. With that being said, stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest updates from around the NFL world.
