A comment left on The Jasmine Brand‘s Instagram account has T-Boz jumping in to defend herself. Things can get messy on social media as mentions, comments, and subliminally shading responses are often screen-captured and quickly shared on various platforms. Such was the case earlier today for TLC icon T-Boz who came under heavy backlash after a comment from her account popped up on a post about Cardi B.

Several outlets, including us, reported on Cardi B telling nightclub bounders to let Black women inside after a group of ladies complained that they were being excluded due to the color of their skin. Under The Jasmine Brand‘s post on the news, T-Boz’s account commented, “Poor Nicki Minaj [crying laughing emojis].”

As expected, the Barbz rushed the singer’s comment sections and T-Boz found herself receiving the wrath of irate fans. Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have been co-existing quietly these days, but the industry recalls those days when the two were visibly at odds, erupting in a New York Fashion Week confrontation. T-Boz returned to say that she was not responsible for the controversial remark.

“My account was hacked Im on a Zoom call meeting so I don’t know what was said or what’s happening yet but I said nothing about @nickiminaj at all.” She doubled down on her excuse in another post she shared on her Instagram page.

“Hey guys my account has been hacked and I never made that comment about Nicki Minaj,” she wrote. “I have no problem and have had a problem with her at all that’s not like me to even comment on a blog and be messy so all the blogs and unnecessary comments can stop thank you.

From 2006 to 2010, actress Evan Rachel Wood dated Marilyn Manson. The rock star has been at the receiving end of allegations pertaining to sexual assault, and earlier this year, Wood added her name to the list when she publicly accused him of abusing her. She is one of several women who have spoken out again Manson, but he has denied all allegations against him as he faces investigations.

According to the Daily Mail and Page Six, Wood is in a custody battle with her ex-husband Jamie Bell over their eight-year-old son, Jack. The outlets have stated the court documents show Wood mentioning Manson, alleging that the singer threatened “to f*ck” her son, and in turn, Wood increased security at her residence.

Wood claims that not only did she move from Los Angeles to Nashville where her ex-husband lives, but she also installed “bulletproof glass windows, a steel door and fence.”

“[I’m] very concerned about our child’s safety when in Los Angeles,” she reportedly wrote in the documents. “I am extremely afraid of the alleged offender… I have suffered severe, traumatic physical and emotional injury at his hands, and I am afraid he will seek retribution against me for testifying by harming me, our son, and members of my family.”

She also wrote that a person who has also accused Manson of misconduct claimed to have recorded the singer saying “he had taken pictures of her children and even obtained the adolescents’ social security numbers.” Meanwhile, Bell just wants to get on with their custody case.

“I frankly do not understand what is happening,” he reportedly stated in a motion. “Either Evan’s claims that she is receiving ‘death threats’ are true and Jack is not safe in her care, or they are not true and she is withholding our son from me for other reasons of her own invention.”

The internet has been on fire over the latest gossip about a potential Hollywood couple. There was a time when Apryl Jones and her love life were the topics of daily internet conversations as people debated whether or not it was appropriate for her to date Fizz. Of course, Fizz is in B2K with Omarion who shares two children with the reality star.

Fans tracked the ups and downs of that situation on Love & Hip Hop, but once the series ended, Jones was photographed with Dr. Dre. Soon, there were rumors that she was dating the Aftermath mogul, but now, people believe that she is being courted by Taye Diggs.

According to Just Jared, Diggs and Jones attended Jennifer Klein’s Holiday Party at a private residence in Brentwood, Calif. The outlet reported that witnesses claimed the pair “danced the night away on the outdoor dance floor.” They were reportedly captured arriving at and leaving the event.

Don Julio served their new Ultima Reserva extra añejo tequila along with their famous minis. The official wine of the event was Justin Wines and Landmark Vineyards. Leilo provided their non-alcoholic ready-to-drink kava beverage and Suja immunity shots were passed around.

More perspectives of this latest Verzuz are making the rounds as members of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony as well as Three 6 Mafia continue to speak about their battle. We have seen a few controversial pairings on Verzuz since its quarantine launch, but when these two groups came together, it was the first time a physical altercation occurred.

Bizzy Bone ignited the fight but later, he apologized for his behavior. DJ Paul has also come forward with his side of things. “The funny part about it is he hasn’t toured with the guys for like two years,” DJ Paul told HipHopDX. “Bone don’t even f*ck with him.”

Paul added that he stepped in between Bizzy and Juicy J because he wanted to protect his friend and his team. Meanwhile, Bizzy returned to his Instagram Story to offer another take on the Verzuz.

“It wasn’t a Bone vs 36 verzuz,” he wrote. “It was a Bone verzuz the entire Rap Industry verzuz. They battling Wanye, Wiz Khalifa, Project Pat, 8ball & MJG, Lil Flip, Young Buck, Strippers, dollar bill, and even actors; Terrence Howard.” Bizzy also wrote the hashtag “#lovedtheunity” before adding, “Bizzy – hold my beer.“

In another slide, he stated that he’s not “milking” the situation while his son, Lil Bizzy, told the Murder MAster Music Show that he encouraged his father to return to the Verzuz stage following the fight.

“What I told him was I said, ‘Pops calm down! This is for the culture!'” Lil Bizzy recalled. “I called him and I told him, ‘Pop this is for the culture, go get back out there, go out there and murder that sh*t and let ’em know you’re the best lyricist of all time.’ He said, ‘Alright son, bet,’ and went back out there and murdered that sh*t. He dapped it up, it was hugs, it was good overall. That’s how it’s supposed to be!.”

It’s unbelievable to think that The Breakfast Club is celebrating its 11 year anniversary. For over a decade, DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God, and Angela Yee have prompted viral discussions about all things pop culture, music, and politics—often making for controversial moments that have become staples in Hip Hop. Just as they were kicking off this celebration, a social media post made by Yee was met with ire from Lil Kim.

We previously reported on Yee’s Facebook page uploading a post about Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim’s beef nine or 10 years ago. When someone alerted Kim about the post, she fired back.

“Why are we bringing this up, this interview is how many years ago?” Kim wrote in a comment. “Like really Angela Yee??? This sh*t is WACK but go Viral!” According to Baller Alert, Yee has responded to Kim’s complaint by saying she wasn’t even aware of the post.

“I don’t even post on Facebook, I had no idea,” Yee reportedly stated. “Think about it like this, I have a public page and a private page, and on my public page there’s a lot of content on there.” Like many other celebrities and public figures, Yee said she hired someone to handle certain social media pages.

“I actually pay people to use a lot of content and to edit clips and post things, just to keep my page like, a little news thing but a lot is centered on things that I do, she said. “I guess Lil Kim thinks that I posted this personally myself and Envy thinks that it’s my fault.” Is Angela Yee to blame?

Rappers are often asked about their influences and what has helped them become the stars that they are, and not many have spoken about Harry Potter. Jack Harlow has been a force in recent years as he and his team have carefully shaped his successful career, and the Kentucky native was recently bestowed the title ofVariety‘s Hitmaker of Tomorrow. The outlet hosted their Hitmakers award ceremony this past weekend and when Harlow gave his speech, he mentioned J.K. Rowling’s uber-famous book-to-film series.

“When I was in the second grade, I went to an elementary school that had a competitive program,” Harlow said. “You could read a book and then take a quiz on that book, and if you passed the quiz, indicating you had really read the book, you would get awarded a certain amount of points. The bigger more challenging the book, the more points you earned.”

After reading through the entire Harry Potter collection, the young Harlow acquired the most points and earned himself recognition. However, his shy ways kept him from seeking the spotlight.

Harlow added that as a kid, he was more of an introvert. “I wasn’t silent, I had friends, but I was much more comfortable just observing and enjoying my own thoughts,” he said. “I think if you took a picture of me on this stage and showed that kid, he’d be pretty blown away. But to be honest, all the ingredients were there. It was a competition and it brought out the competitor in me, which is a big part of the genre I’m in. All that reading is what made me the writer I am now, and I’m pretty sure it’s what’s going to make me the Hitmaker of Tomorrow.”

Now that she’s searching for a new manager, DaniLeigh is also looking to unload her Dominican Republic property. This time last year, DaniLeigh was excited to show off her new lavish home in the D.R. She seemingly gave the world a sneak peek at the property while writing in a caption, “Mannn thank u GOD for choosing me … I work so hard and this is what I do it for.. I wrote in my notes that I wanna buy a crib 2020 && I JUST made itttt.. thank u thank u.” 

Her life has made some dramatic changes within the past year, including her “Yellow Bone” controversy, split from DaBaby, and of course, welcoming her baby girl into the world just a few months ago. DaniLeigh also recently revealed she was on the hunt for a new manager as her mother uploaded a post about taking a step back.

Over on her Instagram Story, the singer uploaded a screenshot of her “Executive Luxury Villa” and rote, “Selling our house in DR! [white heart emoji] hit meee [smiling emoji].” Knowing that the trolls are quick, Danieigh returned to clarify a few things about ridding herself of the home.

“And pls don’t come to my mamas page with the hate,” she added. “This is our decision for a smart investment and new beginnings [white heart emoji][fingers crossed emoji].” This news comes o the heels of her altercation with ex DaBaby ‘causing the masses to once again speculate about the Def Jam star.

We’re just days away from experiencing one of the most anticipated concerts of the year. The lead-up to the December 9 benefit show for Larry Hoover has been quite the journey as J. Prince was able to pull Kanye West and Drake together after years of division. For a minute there, fans didn’t believe that Drizzy and Ye would ever reconcile, but they have posted photos together showing they have come together for their greater good.

We previously reported on the pictures that circulated showing the concert stage being erected in Los Angeles.

“Massive build out tonight for the Ye (formerly Kanye West) and Drake concert set for Dec. 9th at the LA Coliseum . Looks like a circular mound is being built with sand and concrete or stucco. At first, thought this was a monster truck rally setup,” CBS News Los Angeles reporter John Schreiber shared on Twitter.

That wasn’t all; it was also said on the microblogging site that the concert will also air in select IMAX theaters, and fans are hoping that it will also be available for streaming on Apple Music. The latter isn’t a reach, especially considering Kanye has featured several special performances on the platform.

The shocking death of Kobe Bryant may have stunned the world, but when it was revealed that death photos from the helicopter crash site that took the lives of Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, and seven others were shared among Los Angeles officials, things took a turn. Vanessa Byant has been engaged in an ongoing lawsuit again Los Angeles County authorities who stand accused of illegally and irresponsibly sharing the pictures.

According to TMZ, documents state that Vanessa claims when she learned of the crash, she specifically told Sherriff Alex Villanueva, “If you can’t bring my husband and baby back, please make sure no one takes photographs of them.” However, that request went ignored as photos were taken as circulated by officers.

Authorities have reportedly said that the images have been permanently deleted, but Vanessa isn’t convinced that they are telling the truth. “I’ve been tormented with thoughts of who took it and whether it depicts my husband,” documents reportedly read.

She adds, “It infuriates me that the people I trusted to protect the dignity of my husband and daughter abused their positions to obtain souvenirs of their deaths, as though possessing pictures of their remains somehow makes them special. I imagine Kobe watching over what occurred at that crash scene, and I am overcome by anger and emotion.”

And there’s more … “I feel sick at the thought that deputies and firefighters have gawked at photos of my husband’s and child’s bodies without any reason. I also feel extreme sadness and anger knowing that photos of my husband’s and daughter’s bodies were laughed about while shown at a bar and awards banquet.”

Additionally, Vanessa mentions that even when she types her late husband’s name in the Google search bar, a suggestion of “Kobe Bryant body” appears. To add to her anxiety, Vanessa also claims that she has been subjected to the taunting of online trolls who send her messages and comments about having the images while threatening to show them to the world.
