Kodak Black Denies Rape Allegations Again

Florida rapper Kodak Black has addressed his sexual assault case in South Carolina once again on social media, arguing his innocence in a response to a fan on Twitter.

After the Project Baby posted that he “goes without f*ckin'” because he’s focused on money and his goals, a fan stepped in to debate the rapper’s celibacy, alerting him to the previous media coverage surrounding his rape case from a few years ago.

“This you?” asked the fan, referring to the case against him in South Carolina.

“That case terminated and ain’t have to pay nobody !!!! Everybody know I ain’t do it,” responded Kodak, adding a middle-finger emoji and a smiley-face.

This comes after fans publicly worried about the rapper’s health this week when he appeared to be unable to stay awake during a recent interview, dozing off repeatedly. “Lol I B Fakin Like I’m Sleepy Ion B High Guys I Get Drug Tested Consistently,” replied Kodak when the video went viral.

The rapper has been having an outstanding year following his release from prison, striking on a few different hit records, including “Super Gremlin,” “Z Look Jamaican,” and “Feelin’ Peachy.”

Virgil Abloh’s Funeral Attended By Ye, Drake, Tyler, The Creator & Many More

News of Virgil Abloh’s shocking and untimely death has hit the world hard, and in the days following, many of his closest friends and former colleagues have been busy celebrating the eventful life of the creative genius. On Monday, the Off-White founder’s funeral was held at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art, and attended by names like Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Kid Cudi, and more.

Last week’s Louis Vuitton menswear show saw Virgil’s final creations take the stage, with many of his famous friends in the audience. Several of the same faces could be found in Chi city yesterday, saying a painful good-bye. In a clip, rapper and designer Tyler, the Creator can be seen sharing a few words, getting obviously emotional about his pal’s passing.

Apparently, the California native had just finished drafting up an invitation for Virgil, and he was “so excited” for him to see it, but unfortunately, he never would. The late 41-year-old’s sister, Edwina Abloh, also had an emotional speech prepared. “Virgil inspired multitudes to never relent, and to be the best version of themselves,” she said.

“My brother was endearing and humble, yet daring and courageous. His charisma and aura resonated love and kindness to all. He pursued his passions, and remained diligent until the very end. He was inspired by his confidence and imagination, because Virgil did not believe in the word impossible. As Virgil once said, in his last show, ‘there is no limit. Life is short, you can’t waste even a day subscribing to what people think you should do.”

Others in attendance included Drake, Frank Ocean, Don C, and Jerry Lorenzo. Check out some of the emotional and beautiful moments from the funeral below. RIP Virgil Abloh.

Drake Celebrates Virgil Abloh With Abloh Engineering Private Jet & “Virgil Was Here” Pin

On Sunday, November 28, the combined world of design, fashion and music lost one of its brightest minds and most important pioneers when Off-White founder and Louis Vuitton artistic director of menswear, Virgil Abloh, passed away at just 41-years-old. Abloh, who had privately been battling a rare form of cancer since 2019, was a staple in the culture that exists at the intersection of hip hop and fashion, and was revered by seemingly everyone who crossed his path.

In the days following his tragic death, social media tributes poured in from every corner of the internet.

Frank Ocean, Lil Uzi VertYoung Thug and so many other mainstays in the modern music landscape paid their respects to the man who had driven the culture to new heights. Kanye West wiped his Instagram and dedicated his weekly Sunday Service performance to his longtime friend, collaborator, and Donda creative director.

Drake, who has referenced Abloh in songs on numerous occasions, also shared a handful of photos of he and the late legend.

“My plan is to touch the sky 1000 more times for you…love you eternally brother,” he captioned the carousel of memories. “Thank you for everything.”

Last night, the Certified Lover Boy rapper returned to Instagram with another tribute to the man who had the Patek on his wrist doing front flips.

In a short video of the of his fabled Air Drake private jet, Drake captured footage of the massive “ABLOH ENGINEERING” logo scrawled across the plane’s tail. Holding up a small pin reading “Virgil Was Here,” Drake’s latest IG tribute is a nod to the fact that Abloh was responsible for designing the cloud-covered exterior of Air Drake, and transforming the private jet into a flying Nothing Was The Same album cover.

To go along with the video of Air Drake, the Toronto rapper also included a photo of himself wearing the “Virgil Was Here” pin on his lapel.

Rest in peace, Virgil.

Daniel Cormier Goes In-Depth On Tyron Woodley’s Jake Paul Tattoo

Tyron Woodley will officially get a second chance against the likes of Jake Paul on Saturday, December 18th as the two will fight in Tampa Bay, Florida. Paul was supposed to fight against Tommy Fury, however, the British boxer is suffering from a broken rib and a chest infection, which has ultimately put him out of commission. Now, Woodley will have a shot at revenge as he looks to take down the man that beat him just a few months ago.

Heading into this fight, fellow former UFC fighter Daniel Cormier has a lot to say. In a video posted to Cormier’s YouTube channel, he discussed Woodley’s upcoming fight and how he didn’t think it would happen. After Woodley got his “I Love Jake Paul” tattoo, the Paul brothers seemingly left Tyron in the dust, even though the tattoo was supposed to be a promise that a rematch would occur. As a result, Cormier was feeling pretty bad for Woodley, but now, he could not be any happier.

Per Cormier:

“At times, when this whole Tyron Woodley and Jake Paul thing was going on I may have come off as a bit of a hater because I didn’t want T-Wood to get the tattoo, I didn’t like the way the rematch was asked for, but guess what? It actually worked. And I’ve got to be honest, I can’t say I would be happier for anyone more than I am for Tyron right now, because he felt that he won the last fight and then, obviously he didn’t get the decision, and it felt like them kids were playing him.

“It felt like Jake Paul and his brother were gonna play Tyron, telling him he had to get a tattoo, Logan Paul saying, ‘Hey man, you had your chance.’ It felt like they were trying to play T-Wood, but honestly, Tyron did what he had to do, which even if you don’t agree with it, obviously there was some good favor with him getting the tattoo because otherwise they would’ve looked for someone else. I still have my same opinions on the tattoo but that don’t really matter right now because T-Wood gets the rematch.”

This fight should prove to be entertaining as both fighters have wildly different motivations. One man wants to get his knockout, while the other is simply fighting for pride. It’s going to make for a fascinating match and one that could determine whether or not Jake Paul can upgrade in terms of who he fights next.

LeBron James Offers Brutally Honest Russell Westbrook Chemistry Take

This season has been a bit of a difficult one for the Los Angeles Lakers. With injuries and chemistry issues plaguing the team, the Lakers have had to endure a mediocre record and some speculation that things are beginning to unravel. Fortunately, LeBron is back in the Lakers lineup now and he should be good to go for the rest of the year, barring any setbacks.

Recently, however, LeBron was asked by Michael Corvo of ClutchPoints about his new teammate Russell Westbrook and whether or not they have built solid chemistry yet. In the end, LeBron was brutally honest about the whole thing, noting that he simply hasn’t played enough with Westbrook to really know how they should operate for the rest of the season.

“We haven’t had enough games together to know exactly what’s gonna work the best for our team long term,” he explained. While some might interpret this as an indictment on Westbrook, it is simply just a realistic view of how the two haven’t played together for a long time. Both men are ball-dominant, and it’s going to take an entire season before they find that sweet spot.

At a record of 12-12, the Lakers better hope they find that chemistry soon, as they could very quickly slide towards the back of the Western Conference standings.

Pete Davidson & Machine Gun Kelly Strip Down To Their Underwear For Calvin Klein Livestream

It looks like Pete Davidson and Machine Gun Kelly will be the next celebrity endorsers of Calvin Klein Underwear. After Pete Davidson took over the brand’s Instagram presence on Monday night, going Live on the platform alongside his best friend MGK, the two stripped down to their underwear, much to the surprise of thousands of fans watching their stream.

During the live stream, Pete Davidson and Machine Gun Kelly joked as though they were taking sexy photos together for Calvin Klein’s campaign. The pair took turns posing on a white couch before taking off their pants and goofing around in their boxer briefs. The ridiculous stream included Kelly pouring popcorn into his comedian friend’s mouth, conversations about their genitalia, and a complete takeover from Pete on the Calvin Klein page. The star, who notably does not have IG, changed CK’s bio to “Pete here” and uploaded two photos of himself, including one with Kelly, on the brand’s feed.

“Are you gonna post us in our undies,” commented MGK on the first pic.

As they discussed their manhood, Pete complimented Kelly on his package, saying, “Nice stuff, by the way. I get it now. Good for you. Good for you, dog.”

“I would’ve put an extra two socks in there and blew the world’s mind,” replied the rocker, joking about a potential shoot with Calvin Klein.

“Always gotta fluff it up or get a sweet in-between-er, you can’t just go cold,” said Davidson. “I’m a grower for sure. I’m not really a grower or a shower. It’s actually the same small and hard. It’s actually a scientific wonder. […] I hope everyone’s horny at home. We really brought the horniness. We bring the horniness.”

What do you think of Pete Davidson and Machine Gun Kelly for Calvin Klein?

Kyrie Irving Reportedly Lied About Why He’s Refusing The Vaccine

Kyrie Irving is one of the best point guards in the NBA, however, fans haven’t been able to see him show his stuff this year because he refuses to get vaccinated. Due to the mandates in Brooklyn, New York, Kyrie cannot play a single home game, and as a team, the Nets have decided that Kyrie can’t play away games either.

Earlier in the season, Kyrie said he was doing this to be a voice for the voiceless as many people have lost their jobs due to refusing the vaccine. According to a report from Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson of Bally Sports, some sources close to Kyrie are claiming that he lied about his logic as he didn’t want to be dubbed as an anti-vaxxer. Instead, Kyrie simply does not trust the vaccine and would rather not take it altogether.

Per Bally:

“Those closest to him also have shared that Irving knows anything he says will be magnified and scrutinized and he doesn’t want to be viewed as an anti-vaxxer. He’s not taking this stance to be a voice for the voiceless. He’s just not trusting of the available vaccines, according to sources.

Irving also does not want to get vaccinated because of bad experiences with his health due to basketball injuries over the years.”

The debates surrounding the vaccine have been quite polarizing, so it is easy to see why Kyrie might take such a drastic measure. Having said that, his decision could ultimately end his career if these mandates remain in place.

Boosie Badazz Says He Would Never Admit To Shooting Megan Thee Stallion

The trial that Hip Hop has been waiting for begins next week and people are continuing to weigh in about the Megan The Stallion shooting. The incident occurred in July 2020 when Megan was reportedly in a vehicle with Tory Lanez, his security guard, and Megan’s former best friend, Kelsey Nicole. Following the shooting, Megan took to Instagram Live to say implicitly that Tory was the person who pulled the trigger, but a lawyer recently stated that the others in the vehicle have said Lanez is not responsible.

Tory has come forward to repeatedly profess his innocence and with the trial approaching, the industry is debating its outcome. Boosie chatted about the scandal with VladTV and he firmly said that if even if he was responsible for such a shooting, he would take it to the grave.

“You think I’m finna agree and say, ‘I shot Megan Thee Stallion?’ F*ck no! You crazy,” he said. “I could’ve shot her in the back with a million muthaf*ckas lookin’. ‘I ain’t shoot Megan Thee Stallion.’ You think I’m finna say I shot that fine muthaf*cka? Sh*t no, I’m taking that to the grave! It’s going to the grave, ‘I ain’t shoot you, you lying.’ I’m telling you, If I was that n*gga…sh*t, he ain’t doing nothing wrong.”

“I don’t know what happened but I’m not going to admit to sh*t. I ain’t mentioning to sh*t, Boosie added. “They finna go to trial, I wanna see Megan in that business suit. Megan gon’ step out in the ole business suit, ass everywhere.”

Jacquees Sings National Anthem At Lakers Game & The Internet Swiftly Reacted

It’s common for artists to pop up at sports games for performances of the National Anthem, as every so often, those appearances become viral moments. There have been artists to flub the words like Lady Antebellum, those who just shouted their way through the song a la Roseanne Barr, and singers who wanted to jazz things up like Fergie.

However, Jacquees worked hard to avoid ridicule as he prepared for his performance of the anthem and on Monday (December 6), he gave his take at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

As the Los Angeles Lakers were poised and ready for a home game, they first invited Jacquees to sing. The self-proclaimed King of R&B shared several posts related to his appearance, and in one caption he wrote, “My 1st time singing the National Anthem at the Staples Center R.I.P. Kobe! S/o the whole @lakers squad.”

He also added, “LA was Legendary…1 of them times I’ll never forget!” His moment was quickly shared online and, of course, the public had a mixed bag of responses. Some were proud of Jacquees for taking to the iconic court to sing his heart out, while others didn’t seem as impressed with the delivery.

Emmett Till Investigation Closed By DOJ Over “Insufficient Evidence” About Accuser Carolyn Bryant

Activists have expressed their disappointment today (December 6) after the U.S. Justice Department stated that it was closing its investigation into the 1955 slaughter of 14-year-old Emmett Till. The young teen was accused of whistling at a white woman, Carolyn Bryant, in Mississippi all those years ago, and in turn, her husband, Roy Bryant, and his half-brother, J.W. Milam, lynched Till.

Emmett Till was mutilated, tortured, and shot. When his remains were finally recovered, they were beyond recognition. In 2017, it was widely reported that Carolyn Bryant admitted she lied about the encounter with the teen when an author quoted her in a book.

However, relatives of Carolyn deny that she recanted her story but there was a push for the case to be reopened. Back in 1955, an all-white jury found Bryant and Milam not guilty of murdering Till, and due to double jeopardy, the pair later admitted they did indeed kill him. The Department of Justice has closed its current case and there will not be any new charges filed. Carolyn Bryant is still alive and activists believed that she should have her day in court, but an investigation showed that would not happen.

“Today is a day we will never forget,” Till’s cousin, the Rev. Wheeler Parker, said. “For sixty-six years we have suffered pain. … I suffered tremendously.”

Donham told the FBI that she had never recanted her accusations and there is “insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she lied to the FBI,” the Justice Department said in a news release Monday. Officials also said that Timothy B. Tyson, the author of 2017′s “The Blood of Emmett Till” was unable to produce any recordings or transcripts in which Donham allegedly admitted to lying about her encounter with the teen.

“In closing this matter without prosecution, the government does not take the position that the state court testimony the woman gave in 1955 was truthful or accurate,” the news release said. “There remains considerable doubt as to the credibility of her version of events, which is contradicted by others who were with Till at the time, including the account of a living witness.”

Bryant and Milam have long passed. An investigation in the early 2000s also proved to be futile for the loved ones of Till who continue to seek justice. Three Black witnesses who testified against Bryant and Milam at the initial 1955 trial were relocated for their safety.
