Sir Elton John does appreciate the bars. We’ve seen it when he jumped on stage alongside Eminem at the Grammys twice. He also extended his co-sign to Tech N9ne. He also locked in with Future a few years ago, though we haven’t heard the final product of whatever went down during that recording session. However, his latest project will tap a few more rappers and R&B artists that he’s grown to appreciate over the past few years.
Elton John unveiled the tracklist for his upcoming project, The Lockdown Sessions. The compilation project is stacked with guest appearances including Lil Nas X, Gorillaz, Yo-Yo Ma, and more. However, the project also includes a new collaboration alongside both Young Thug and Nicki Minaj titled, “Always Love You.” 6lack also appears with Elton John on the track, “The Pink Phantom” which is credits the Gorillaz as the main artist.
Elton John has publicly expressed his appreciation for Young Thug in the past, and vice versa. It began in 2015 when John admitted that Thugger was an artist that frequently circulated his playlist. While Thug went on to deliver a cover of “Rocket Man” that circulated in 2018, the two formally collaborated for On The Run single, “High.”

Vocal powerhouse Jazmine Sullivan got really messy this week, revealing some of her fans’ deepest and darkest secrets after they submitted them to her Instagram Stories. Some of the submissions were so wild that Sullivan started trending soon after posting them.
Asking her followers to dish out some dirt, Jazmine Sullivan wrote, “It’s that time again. Tell me a secret you’ll never tell your partner.”
While some of the answers were surely pretty tame, many of the ones she chose to highlight were absolutely wild. Some people brought up Trick Daddy-approved salad-tossing secrets, while others admitted they hated their engagement rings, but everybody came with some shady secrets for us all to enjoy.
“You thought you played me but I had already cheated first,” admitted one person, to which Jazmine responded with a GIF of Prince shaking his head.
“I think he’s a little bit ugly like his mom and I’m glad we don’t have kids together,” said another in savage fashion.
“All their IG notifications come to my phone that’s why they don’t be seeing their DMs,” said someone else.
“I didn’t know if our baby was his at first,” said another woman.
“I was catching his daddy nut before I was catching his,” admitted somebody.

Jackboy is proving that he’s got a good head on his shoulders, traveling to his native Haiti this week and donating over $100,000. Additionally, he has pledged to donate enough money to have a new hospital built in the country, and he’s getting help from Lil Baby.
The Sniper Gang-affiliated rapper has been documenting his recent trip to Haiti, sharing photos and videos on Instagram Stories to show how desperate the country is right now, following a devastating earthquake. The death toll hit over 2,100 a couple of weeks ago, but hospitals are still in dire need of help. Jackboy said that after witnessing what’s happening in the country, he wants to build a new hospital, and he’s getting help from another famous rapper.
“I Just Walked Through A Hospital In Haiti & All The Patients Sleeping Outside [heartbreak emoji],” wrote Jackboy this week. “I Personally Handed Every Single Last 1 Of Them A Envelope Full Of Money But Fr Fr I Feel Like That Ain’t Enough… Who Want To Go Half With Me & Get A Hospital Built It’s Not Really That Much Especially If We Using Us Dollars. #PrayForHaiti.”
Jack went on to share his direct messages with Lil Baby, revealing that the rapper accepted his offer to split the cost of a new hospital.
“I’m in,” said Baby.

Out of all three listening parties, Kanye’s DONDA event in Chicago was certainly the most elaborate. Sure, the second party included a levitating ‘Ye ascending into “heaven” a.k.a. the roof of the Mercedes Benz Stadium but the third party centered around a replica of his childhood home. The rapper’s third listening event in Chicago also included some unexpected company, namely DaBaby and Marilyn Manson. Surprisingly, Tory Lanez wasn’t invited to the stage.

As more friends came out for ‘Ye, a group of fans reenacted the entire event at Kanye West’s actual childhood home. Comedian Marvin G Barry and his crew dropped a spoof of the event which has gone viral. The spoof shows Barry as Kanye West as a group of his friends hang out on the porch of Kanye’s childhood home, masks and all, as they “perform” a rendition of “Jail.” No instrumental to back them, another person is heard in the background mimicking the sounds of the guitar with his voice. Funny enough, there’s even a friend that was tagged to take on the role of Marilyn Manson.
Kanye West apparently wanted to bring his actual childhood home to the event. According to Chicago Sun-Tribune, Kanye West and his crew resorted to building a replica after the city’s Building Department said that he would require more permits to be able to bring his actual house to the Soldier Field.
