Nike Dunk Low “Championship Red” Drops Soon: Photos

Over the past few months, the Nike Dunk Low has been giving sneakerheads a lot to cheer about thanks to a plethora of new colorways that have done wonders on the market. The Dunk Low is seeing a big resurgence and the silhouette is perfect for the summer months. Recently, the colorways have ramped up in production and with the Fall on the way, Nike has every intention of continuing the momentum that the shoe has built for itself.

In the images below, you can see that the base of the shoe is red, all while the overlays are white. This colorway has been deemed “Championship Red” and the layout is the reverse of what you would expect as most shoes make the base white and the overlays red. Technicalities aside, this is another dope Nike Dunk Low that is sure to captivate fans.

If you are interested in grabbing a pair of these, you will be able to do so as of Thursday, September 16th for a price of $100 USD. More Nike Dunk Low colorways will be on the way, so be sure to keep it locked to HNHH for all of the latest updates from the sneaker world.

Ben Simmons Receiving Interest From This Eastern Conference Team

This past week, it was revealed that Ben Simmons asked the Philadelphia 76ers for a trade. The Sixers have had their asking price sorted out for a while now and they don’t seem to be willing to budge on it. After all, Simmons is still a very talented player especially given his size and his stat lines when he is actually playing with some confidence. Despite this, teams aren’t willing to pay the price right now and it has the Sixers scrambling for a trade partner before the season.

Various teams have been rumored destinations for Simmons including Portland, Toronto, Sacramento, and even Golden State. Now, according to Marc Stein, there is one more potential team at play here although it’s one that Simmons would probably rather avoid.

That team just so happens to be the Cleveland Cavaliers. As Stein reports, the team just brought in Ricky Rubio and they even have big contracts for players like Jarrett Allen. The squad has a ton of young players to trade, and there are even some Klutch Sports connections here. With that being said, it should come as no surprise that the Cavs would go after Simmons, who would immediately make their team playoff contenders.

The Cavs have a history of being a bad team following the exodus of LeBron James, so it’s easy to see why Simmons might not like this news. Regardless, the 76ers need to do what’s right for them, and if the Cavs pay up, they will certainly get it done.

50 Cent Continues To Use Michael K. Williams’ Death To Promote “Raising Kanan”

There’s likely no one more ruthless in the music industry than Hip-Hop legend turned television mogul 50 Cent. The artist and executive never hesitates to beef with anyone, his closest associates included. Following the tragic news of Michael K. Williams’ death on Monday, fans learned that Fif definitely isn’t one to forgive and forget, even when his adversaries pass away.

Upon learning about the acclaimed The Wire actor’s passing, 50 Cent capitalized on the news by promoting the most recent episode of Power Book III: Raising Kanan, which also notably featured one of the main characters overdosing in the final moments. “[eyes emoji] Damn if you didn’t see Raising Kanan check it out that fentanyl is no joke, killing the clientele. R.I.P. michael k williams,” the Get Rich Or Die Trying artist wrote in a shocking Instagram post.

Whether or not he was trying to connect the dots from a recent tragedy to his show or simply be malicious toward his former foe, 50 Cent eventually deleted the post, but on Tuesday, the rapper has returned to double down on his controversial social media sentiments. Fif recently shared a screenshot of a news article with the headline “50 Cent Under Fire for Using Michael K. Williams’ Death to Plug ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanam,’ and his caption for the post confirms that he truly doesn’t care about the backlash that he has been receiving over the past 24 hours.

“Hey if you didn’t get a chance to see Raising Kanan check it out,” 50 Cent writes in the new post’s caption. Although he doesn’t mention the fallen actor’s name directly, he does hint at the current theory that Williams perished following a fatal drug overdose. 50 continues, saying, “Fentanyl is a hell of a drug.”

Even 50 Cent’s followers are blown away by his actions. One commenter wrote, “you just don’t stop,” while another said, “your heart is empty…” Another user expertly described Fif’s antics, saying, “When will the media learn a guy who wants all the smoke can’t be under fire ever.”

Kanye West Allegedly Fires “DONDA” Engineer In Curt Text Message

We’ve been getting insight into Kanye West’s texting habits in recent times. It all began over a week ago when Kanye shared a  screenshot of a message he sent in a group text that appeared to include both Drake and Virgil Abloh. Kanye West, who creates a new paragraph for every sentence, was seemingly frustrated by the idea of Drake receiving a customized watch from Virgil Abloh with green diamonds.

Today, Akademiks shared an apparent text message between Kanye West and a former engineer who was working on the Donda album. Unfortunately, the tight schedule that Kanye was working on wasn’t entirely manageable for the engineer who ended up being late. However, the engineer was quite transparent the whole time.

“Good morning

Let’s work,” one message from Kanye West reads at 9:34 a.m.

After not receiving an answer for nearly two hours, Kanye informed the engineer that they’ve been fired. “Go home,” ‘Ye added.

The engineer offered an apologetic text to Kanye West explaining that their alarm didn’t go off. “I’m really sorry. I have no excuse I set an alarm for 7:30 am. And for whever reason my phone wasn’t alerting me I woke up at 11:08 to missed calls and got dressed as fast as I could Lou was already in his way to get boogz and they just got here,” the first message read.

“I didn’t call back right away cause I was in a panic trying to find a ride. I know this is unacceptable… I’m sorry,” the follow up message read.

Despite being late to practically every single set he’s performed in the majority of his career, Kanye still apparently has a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness among his collaborators.

“Stop texting

Go find God,” Kanye replied.

As the internet erupted in laughter, T.I. chimed in under Akademiks post. “The ‘Go find God’ is a keeper tho,” he wrote.

Kanye West Adjusted ‘Donda’ Based In Part On Online Reviews Of His Listening Events, Mike Dean Says

Kanye West finally released Donda recently (whether he wanted to or not, it seemed). The creative process of the record was a public affair, as West held three listening parties and made changes to the album between them. Mike Dean, who worked on the album with West, says that after the listening parties, he took reactions to the songs into consideration when making alterations to the album, including online reviews.

Speaking with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Dean said (as HotNewHipHop notes):

“It was interesting. It was grueling, lots of hours, lots of changes. Came out great, though. […] Kanye had three listening parties, so each listening party was like a test, kind of. And after each one, I think he wanted… I can’t talk too much about his process. He took all the information he got from everyone — including online reviews, personal friends’ reviews — and he just kind of digested it all and adjusted the album the way he wants.

He also noted that during the events, he was attuned to how the audiences were feeling about the songs, saying, “I definitely looked at how the crowd moved to different songs. I was up at the top of the stadium, DJ-ing.”

As unconventional as the process was, the results speak for themselves: Donda topped the charts and two of the album’s songs debuted in the top 10 of the Hot 100 this week.
