During his early seasons in the league, Chris Bosh was a beast with the Toronto Raptors. At the time, the team was struggling in the absence of Vince Carter and they needed someone who could carry the team to greatness. For the most part, Bosh could only do so much as he took the team to the playoffs, but couldn’t turn them into contenders. He knew that he needed some help and in 2010, that help came as he was able to link up with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade on the Miami Heat.

From there, Bosh won two NBA titles and he cemented himself as a star player in the NBA. Recently, Bosh got to talk about his decision to join the Heat, on SiriusXM Radio. As one can imagine, Bosh’s motivations were always pure and they were driven by his desire to win a title and be mentioned among some of the best names to ever do it.

“One message in particular stuck out in my head saying, ‘You want to play on the big stage.’ That always stuck with me. I wanted to compete for a championship,” Bosh said via Fadeaway World. “I wanted to be like Jordan. I wanted to be like Kobe. I wanted to be like Tim Duncan. Those guys elevated their game and got with the Boston (Celtics), and now they’re playing at that level. I wanted to play at that level. That was the most important thing to me.”

While Bosh’s career was cut short due to blood clot issues, he remains a beloved player in the history of the Heat. The team even retired his number this past season, and moving forward, he will continue to be looked at as the most sympathetic player on those big three championship teams.

Kyle Kuzma is now a member of the Washington Wizards although when it comes to the Los Angeles Lakers, he certainly has fond memories of the team. Back in 2020, he won his first NBA title with the squad and he also got to meet some interesting celebrities while playing in one of the most popular cities in the world. During that time, he was able to forge a relationship with LeBron James and despite rumors in the media, the two still have a great relationship.

While speaking to Gilbert Arenas this past week, Kuzma got to talk about his journey with the Lakers and how he is still cool with LeBron. As he noted in an earlier quote, he and LeBron still hang out from time to time and that moving forward, it is all love.

Kuzma also divulged that LeBron is one of the goofiest people he knows and that the superstar never takes himself all that seriously.

But he’s, like, an 18-year-old too at the same time. You know what I mean? I just feel like it’s the best part about him. Like, everyone is human.”

LeBron has always been known to joke around on social media and in post-game interviews, so this revelation shouldn’t be all that surprising. At the age of 36, LeBron still has a youthful exuberance to him, and it is this ability to stay loose that has kept him going. For Kuzma, it must have been quite the sight to behold as he maneuvered through his early years in the league.

Logan Williams, the late 16-year-old actor who was best known for his role in The Flash, reportedly passed away last year following an unintentional drug overdose. The teenager had reportedly accidentally taken a toxic level of fentanyl.

“Toxicological analysis detected fentanyl in a range where lethal outcomes have been reported,” said the coroner. “Even small amounts of fentanyl have been shown to be potentially toxic.”

Williams played a young Barry Allen on The Flash. He was sixteen at the time of his death, and he passed away in Burnaby, British Columbia. Williams died in April 2020.

The coroner’s report also noted that Williams suffered from mental health problems and had a “history of consuming illicit substances.”

Williams’ mother confirmed that the teenager had been dealing with addiction issues for three years. “His death is not going to be in vain,” she said in May 2020. “He’s going to help a lot of people down the road.”

The young actor reportedly started smoking marijuana when he was thirteen before moving onto harder drugs. Williams’ mother sent him to an expensive treatment center to try and get him help, but she says that Williams was “so ashamed” of his addiction that he was in complete denial.
