Snoop Dogg Dubs Moneybagg Yo “The Hottest N*gga In The Game”
While there are some Rap veterans who don’t give praise to younger artists navigating their paths in the industry, Snoop Dogg isn’t one of them. The acclaimed Long Beach icon has continuously, throughout his decades-long career, highlighted the contributions that newer artists have made in the Rap game. Snoop has been referred to as “Unc” due to familial energy, and he retained that reputation during a recent meet-up with Moneybagg Yo.
Fans were excited to see these two hitmakers in the same space and watched as they paid each other compliments about their career accomplishments.
A video of the encounter surfaced online and the pair were being filmed as Snoop said, “I got the pleasure of being with the hottest n*gga in the game right now.” Moneybagg seemed taken aback for a moment before he replied, “I got the privilege of being with a legend.” They exchanged a few more pleasantries before locking in at the studio.
Moneybagg Yo’s recent release A Gangsta’s Pain took the No. 1 spot on the Billboard charts, so we can only imagine what he’s been working on, and with which artists. His single “Wockesha” remains a fan favorite and people are waiting to see what he comes up with next. Check out Memphis and Long Beach uniting below.

The clock is ticking as DaniLeigh’s due date approaches and the expectant mother has been proudly showing off her growing baby bump. For months, people have speculated that DaniLeigh was with child, but while the gossip ran through social media and headlines, the Def Jam artist remained silent about her bundle of joy. It was only after one of her family members reportedly accidentally shared a photo of her that DaniLeigh decided to step forward and live her pregnancy out loud.
For the last few weeks, we’ve received regular social media updates from the singer, and she returned on Friday (July 30) to kick off the weekend with another set of photos.
This time around, fans believed she was giving a nod to DaBaby because she wrote in her caption, “#dabiggest [white heart emoji].” For a time, she and DaBaby put their romance on full display as they traveled together, celebrated birthdays, and posted coupled-up videos and photos on social media. The pair cooled off from sharing their relationship after she DaniLeigh was faced with her “Yellow Bone” controversy but there have been rumors that they didn’t break up and the rapper is allegedly the father of her child.

Drake Declares Album Is Finished: “‘Certified Lover Boy’ On The Way”
As Hip Hop awaits Kanye West’s DONDA, Drake has shared some good news from the OVO Sound camp. The buzz around Certified Lover Boy feels as if it has gone on for ages, but according to Drizzy, the album is mixed, mastered, and complete. The news came courtesy of Sound 42 where Drake dropped off a brief update for the world.
“Album’s cooked,” the Rap mogul said before a heavy sigh. “Looking forward to delivering it to you.”
“I hope everybody in the world is blessed. I hope everybody has their drinks, everyone’s locked in. Good vibes and good energy for this weekend,” he continued. “And for the rest of you heathens, I wanna tell you, ’cause I know you’re listening, don’t trouble people’s kids, don’t bother people’s soul. Know what I’m sayin’?”

And that’s for anyone in the way.” Fans have expressed that they hope the project arrives sooner than later, and of course, there comes the speculation that CLB will drop on the same day as DONDA. Young Buck Sued By Bankruptcy Trustee For Not Handing Over Royalties: Report
A bankruptcy trustee has reportedly ignited a legal battle with Young Buck. The Tennessee native is no stranger to having trouble with the law as he was arrested in both 2019, but his recent set of worries come from allegations that he’s refusing to turn over his royalties to settle debts. Just prior to the pandemic causing the world to undergo a global quarantine, Buck reportedly filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy in January 2020. In documents, the rapper reportedly told the court that he made $4,450 per month while his monthly bills were $1,490.
According to Radar Online, Buck listed his “assets totaling $5,761 with liabilities totaling $48,316.20.” It appears that the rapper reportedly owes over $45K in back child support, in addition to $1,250 “in taxes and other debts.”
At the time, it is reported that Buck also stated in documents that he didn’t have a vehicle and was using his girlfriend’s car. A trustee was appointed to make sense of Buck’s debts in order to help him get back on track, but the trustee now alleges that the rapper is making money from his ASCAP checks but refuses to use them in his bankruptcy. It is reported that those royalties are approximately $35K.
To add insult to injury, documents reportedly state that 50 Cent, Buck’s former friend and longtime foe, may be one of his creditors. Young Buck has yet to respond to the lawsuit.

Dolly Parton Used Royalties From “I Will Always Love You” To Support Black Neighborhood
The song became a mega-success for Whitney Houston as she poured her heart out in the studio belting “I Will Always Love You” for The Bodyguard soundtrack, but at the time, not many of her fans knew that the track was a Dolly Parton original. The Country music icon has been a beloved figure in the industry for decades as she has often defied those who share her demographic.
Miley Cyrus’s godmother caught up with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live and was asked about her career, and the host wanted to know the greatest gift she’d purchased for herself using the royalties earned from Houston’s remake of her 1973 song.
“I bought my big office complex down in Nashville. So I thought, ‘Well, this is a wonderful place to be,'” Parton answered. “I bought a property down in what was the Black area of town, and it was mostly just Black families and people that lived around there. It was off the beaten path from 16th Avenue and I thought, ‘Well, I am gonna buy this place — the whole strip mall.’ And I thought, ‘This is the perfect place for me to be,’ considering it was Whitney.”
“I thought this was great,” she added. “I’m just gonna be down here with her people, who are my people as well. So, I just love the fact that I spent that money on a complex and I think, ‘This is the house that Whitney built.'”

Beyoncé Earns No. 1 Spot On Greatest Music Videos Of All Time With “Formation”
Since the inception of music videos, there have been some major moments in music history. Many top tier visuals have included several Michael Jackson hits as well as videos from Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Biggie, Run-DMC, Kendrick Lamar, Weezer, Janet Jackson, Radiohead, Lady Gaga, and dozens of others, and in a recent article, Rolling Stone revealed their choices for the 100 Greatest Music Videos of all time.
This list, like many of the other “top” discussions in the industry, is an arguable one at best, but Beyoncé snagging the No. 1 spot with “Formation” has critics and fans debating her position.
Rolling Stone placed Bey’s “Formation” in the coveted spot and the BeyHive couldn’t be happier. The track is pulled from the singer’s massive hit record Lemonade released in 2016 and was written by Mike WiLL Made-It, Swae Lee, and Pluss. The visual was directed by Melina Matsoukas who was inspired by Beyoncé’s familial heritage as well as the works of other famous Black women who inspired the culture.
The music video for “Formation” was filmed in two days between Beyoncé’s rehearsals for the Super Bowl. “I wanted to show—this is black people,” Matsoukas previously told The New Yorker. “We triumph, we suffer, we’re drowning, we’re being beaten, we’re dancing, we’re eating, and we’re still here.”
Do you think this video deserves the top spot? If not, what music video do you think deserves to be No. 1? Check out “Formation” below along with a few reactions.
Lamar Odom Ordered To Pay Ex Nearly $400K In Court Battle: Report
As he prepares for his bout against heavyweight champion Riddick Bowe, Lamar Odom has is facing off with his ex in court. We previously reported on the legal issues plaguing Odom and Liza Morales, and their court case spilled over to social media after the former NBA star openly rejected the allegations against him.
According to reports, Morales accused Odom of owing $91K in child support and $83 in rent that he hadn’t paid in a year. Odom was reportedly financially responsible for Morales’s New York apartment where she lives with their children, but the sports icon called her out for allegedly not having employment to take care of herself.

Morales snapped back and called his Instagram rant “lies,” and a judge seems to have put it to rest by ordering Odom to cough up $380K. TMZ reports that back in 2015, the ex-couple came to a “settlement agreement requiring the NBA legend to pay thousands of dollars per month for the benefit of the former couple’s two kids.”
This latest judgment now requires Odom to pay “$91,220 in outstanding child support, $88,117 in missed rent, $161,305 for their children’s college funds and expenses, and nearly $40k for her legal fees and expenses.” Odom and Morales never married, but she and their children openly supported him as he recovered from his near-fatal overdose back in 2015.
In recent months, Odom has suggested that he wants to reconcile with ex-wife Khloé Kardashian.
