Tory Lanez Seemingly Shades Megan Thee Stallion With Subliminal Comment

Tory Lanez has spent much of the last year milking a traumatic situation and profiting off his alleged shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. The Toronto rapper released an album addressing the situation, calling Megan a liar, and denying the allegations against him. He has also brought the shooting up numerous times unprovoked, which is exactly what he did again on Monday morning.

When The Shade Room posted a recent story from Black Ink Crew star Ceaser, in which he asked his followers whether they would consider apologizing to somebody who lied about them, the blog likely wasn’t expecting Tory Lanez to slide into the comments. He did just that though, getting messy once again and applying the question to his own situation.

“Would you apologize to someone who LIED on YOU?????” asked Ceaser on Instagram. “Nah,” responded Tory. “That’s why… nvm.” Nevermind? What was the point of saying anything, then?

Megan Thee Stallion has laid this issue to rest for months, going on hiatus to enjoy her personal life before getting back into the musicShe hasn’t brought up her trauma in a while so this time, it was all Tory. For someone who doesn’t want to apologize, he sure likes reminding the world of the allegations he’s faced with.

Check out Tory Lanez’s response below.

Punch Shares His “Mt. Rushmore” From Every Era

When it comes to favorite hip-hop discussions, one that will never quite fade is the one centering around the proverbial Mt. Rushmore. For those unaware, Mt. Rushmore is meant to consist of the “founders” of hip-hop, the names who ultimately went on to influence the game the most profoundly. Given how many impactful rappers we’ve seen throughout the past thirty-plus years, it’s difficult to come to a unanimous conclusion — though TDE’s Punch certainly did his best to try.

The record label President slash A Room Full Of Mirrors lyricist recently took to Twitter to share a series of Mt. Rushmores, effectively broken down by era. For the sake of the exercise, each era consists of a four-year period. Beginning in the 1986-1990 timeframe, Punch credits Big Daddy Kane, KRS One, Rakim, and LL Cool J. For 90-94, he’s got Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Chuck D, and Scarface. For 94-98, he names 2Pac, Jay-Z, Nas, and Biggie.

98-2002 brings Eminem, DMX, Nelly, and Ja Rule into the mix. The following era, 2002-2006, includes Kanye, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, and The Game. 2006-2010 includes TI, Jeezy, Ludacris, and Rick Ross. 10-14 includes Drake, Kendrick, Nicki Minaj, and J. Cole. 14-18 features Future, Young Thug, Chance The Rapper, and Travis Scott. And most recently, 2018 to today is Cardi B, Lil Baby, DaBaby, and Roddy Ricch.

It’s clear that Punch’s list will spark discussion, though on a surface glance it does appear to capture the spirit that each era brought to the table, at least on a commercial front. Check out his complete rundown below, and remember – if there’s anything rap fans love, it’s ranking things. Do you agree with Punch’s Mt. Rushmore list?

Ex-FBI Agent Says LAPD Covered Up Biggie Smalls’ Murder: Report

The murder of two of hip-hop’s most iconic figures remains unsolved yet has inspired countless documentaries. The death of The Notorious B.I.G. has been at the center of many conspiracies. Phil Carson, a former FBI agent with in-depth knowledge of the case, recently revealed the alleged killer and the LAPD’s involvement in covering up the murder.

Per PageSix, Carson, along with City Of Lies producer Don Sikorski, have revealed their findings from sealed documents from Biggie’s murder case. Carson said that the court docs point to Amir Muhammed as the trigger man and Suge Knight as the financier behind the hit on the rapper. He explained the reason why Muhammed was able to carry out the hit was due to LAPD corruption.

“All the evidence points to Amir Muhammad. He’s the one who pulled the trigger,” Carson said. “There were plenty of others who helped orchestrate it [and] allowed him to pull the trigger.”

Carson described corruption as “the biggest miscarriage of justice” in his 20-year career in the FBI. “I had evidence that LAPD officers were involved and I was shut down by the LAPD and city attorneys inside Los Angeles,” Carson added.

A 2003 FBI report further backs up Carson’s claims, referring to Muhammed as the suspect in the case. “Amir Muhammad, AKA Harry Billups, the godparent to LAPD Officer David Mack’s two children, has been identified by several sources as the trigger man,” reads Carson’s FBI request. “Mack is a registered owner of a 1995 Black SS Impala with chrome wheels, the exact description given as being driven by Wallace’s shooter.”

Carson also stated that Biggie wasn’t the actual intended target — it was Diddy. Carson reportedly told Puff this information who was “pretty freaked out” by this revelation.

Megan Fox Joined Machine Gun Kelly On Stage And Shared A Smoke At An Indy 500 Concert

It was around this time last year that Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox publicly declared that they were dating. Since then, the twists and turns of their relationship have formed quite the story, with the occasional headlines showing observers that their romance isn’t like most others.

Now, the story continues: Over the weekend, Fox joined Kelly on stage at a concert. Kelly was performing at a Barstool Sports Indy 500 party at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana on Friday. As E! notes, the crowd chanted for Fox, and eventually, she took the stage. Standing with Kelly, the musician puffed on “what appeared to be a cigarette,” then he passed it to Fox, who also took a puff. Then, Kelly performed “I Think I’m Okay,” with Fox hanging out towards the back of the stage during the song. Later, the pair was apparently seen cuddling backstage.

Before this, the couple’s most recent public appearance of note came at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards a week ago. For the occasion, Kelly decided to paint his tongue black, and ahead of the ceremony, he showed off his oral modification by engaging in some PDA with Fox on the red carpet. Kelly also left the show with two awards: Top Rock Artist and Top Rock Album (for Tickets To My Downfall).

42 Dugg’s “Free Dem Boyz” First-Week Sales Numbers Are In

42 Dugg recently dropped his new album Free Dem Boyz, a project featuring appearances from Roddy Ricch, Future, Lil Durk, Fivio Foreign, Rowdy Rebel, and more. The project was met with acclaim from his fanbase, who clearly mobilized to step up and support the Detroit rapper, which ultimately went on to translate on the sales front.

According to a report from Our Generation Music, the project went on to move a solid 32,000 album-equivalent units; in the same post, it’s noted that the project debuted at the 8th position on the Billboard charts, though it does not currently hold a position. HitsDailyDouble also confirms that of the total volume, 819 were made up of physical sales.

For some context, DMX’s posthumous album Exodus, which went into its release with considerable hype, is looking at a projected first-week haul between 28 and 32k. For the most part, many of Dugg’s fans have reacted favorably to Free Dem Boyz seeing early success on the charts, and it’s likely that they’ll keep the support moving in the weeks to come. It’s certainly a good haul for Dugg, who continues to expand his reach with every release. It also doesn’t hurt that he recently found his Future duet “Maybach” embroiled in slight controversy, after Future disrespectfully name-dropped Lori and Steve Harvey

All things considered, do you think a first-week total of 32k is a big win for 42 Dugg? And more importantly, have you been keeping his latest album on steady rotation?
