The docu-series follows the life and legacy of Tupac Shakur and his mother, Afeni Shakur, who was a Black Panther activist.

In connection to the late rapper’s death, a suspect named Keefe D was arrested by Las Vegas police on September 29, 2023, for Shakur’s murder. Subsequently, on November 2, 2023, in Las Vegas, Davis entered a plea of not guilty.
