Trouble is dead at 34.
The Atlanta rapper, whose real name was Mariel Semonté Orr, was shot and killed on Sunday morning (June 5), according to various reports. The details surrounding his death are unclear at this time.
The tragic news was confirmed by his sister as well as his ex-girlfriend, Alexis Skyy. “Rip @TroubleDTE I’m so sorry this happen to you Skoob you didn’t deserve this I’m praying for your kids and family,” Skyy tweeted.

The hip-hop community mourned the loss including Mike WiLL Made-It, who signed Trouble to EarDrummers Entertainment in 2017. Gucci Mane and Young Scooter also shared tributes, along with Bow Wow.
“Trouble was my dawg! Pulled up anywhere I was at didn’t care if it was last minute he was there,” Bow Wow wrote in an Instagram Story. “I can’t believe this… What is going on man! My condolences to his family. Bro had kids man!”

Trouble, who started rapping at age 14, released his debut mixtape December 17th in April 2011. He collaborated with Drake and The Weeknd on 2018’s Edgewood (41E Edition). His most recent album, 2020’s Thug Luv, featured 2 Chainz, Quavo, and City Girls.
