Luka Doncic Makes NBA History with Monumental Christmas Day Performance

Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Doncic delivered a historic performance on Christmas Day, scoring 50 points, dishing out 15 assists, making eight three-pointers, grabbing six rebounds, securing four steals, and blocking three shots. This unprecedented feat marks the first time in NBA history that a player has achieved such a combination since introducing the three-point line in the 1979-80 season.

Doncic’s stellar performance also earned him a spot in the elite “Christmas 50 Club,” joining Bernard King (60), Wilt Chamberlain (59), and Rick Barry (50) as the only players to score 50 or more points on Christmas Day. Additionally, Luka and Grayson Allen tied the Christmas Day record for most three-pointers, each making eight.

In a momentous highlight, Doncic reached 10,000 career points by sinking a deep three, becoming the sixth player to achieve this milestone before turning 25, joining the ranks of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, and Tracy McGrady.

The Mavs beat the Suns 128-114.
