Gatorade is teaming up with UNINTERRUPTED, the award-winning athlete storytelling brand founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, to elevate its 12 Gatorade National Players of the Year on a global stage.
During their time in Los Angeles, the 2023-24 Gatorade Player of the Year class will engage in an UNINTERRUPTED roundtable discussion hosted by admired athletes, including former Gatorade Players of the Year Paige Bueckers and Karl-Anthony Towns. These discussions will be shared on Gatorade and UNINTERRUPTED social channels in late July or early August.
Additionally, the 12 National Players of the Year will get first access to Gatorade’s limited-edition Drop, co-created with UNINTERRUPTED, modeling the collection ahead of its release on Gatorade iD, the brand’s free membership platform.
The Drop includes two capsules: a vintage-inspired Gatorade-branded track jacket and towel for $125 and a T-shirt, exclusive snapback, and Gx bottle for $100. The collection, featuring the iconic Gatorade Bolt and UNINTERRUPTED logos with TV-static design elements, will go live for sale at 10 a.m. ET on Friday, July 12, 2024. This collaboration signifies the disruption the next generation of athletes is bringing to sports.
